Nice people work there. Indoor pool is cool. Breakfast is more extravagant than I expected. Not real clean but it but the bed was comfortable and the AC was cold. It’s a decent value.

This is a dump. We had brown bathwater, toiletwater, sinkwater, towels full of holes, walls were patched with pieces of mismatched wallpaper, bathroom floor was full of mold and dirt. And it smelled. Oh, goodness, the smell. It’s a non-smoking hotel that reeks of smoke. The management won’t return my calls, and we are still airing out our belongings. This is NOT a Holiday Inn Express in the normal vein. They need to take their name off of it.

The breakfast had awesome biscuits and gravy. Boiled eggs, yogurt, and more check the web page. The rooms have great mattresses and pillows. They have cookies in the lobby in the evening. The bathroom needed a stain removed. Otherwise its a great place to stay. The pool was awesome-indoor.

As a Platinum Priority Club member I have been to many Holiday Inn brand hotels over the last few years. My visit here was not typical and was disappointing. The hotel itself needs remodeling. They have new flat screen tv’s and what appeared to be some new furniture but needs a lot more work. The night staff that checked us in lacked any customer service training. No mention of PC, no typical Platinum take-aways, no room upgrade offer. He lacked common courtesy/pleasantries and gave me the impression that he had better things to do than check me in. Their key machine wasn’t working and he gave me a back-up key to try with the instructions to just bring it back if it didn’t work and we’d «keep trying until we found a room that had a working key». «We» didn’t keep trying. He kept giving me keys and I kept going up and down the stairs trying them. Third time the door opened and we finally settled in. The room was smaller than most HI but the décor looked typical. Bathroom wall by the toilet had yellow tinted wall paper, but looked clean otherwise. We skipped breakfast in the morning, being a little sketchy about the quality based on our initial impressions. Overall I think this particular hotel would be better served as part of the Super 8 or Motel 6 chain. Although it was just one visit and maybe just a bad night, it didn’t seem like a good fit for HI.
