Dr. Melanie Joannow

Dr. Melanie Joannow is great. I’ve been seeing her for a few years now and have recco’d her to a few of my friends and they all love her. She’s great to talk to, and has great «bedside manner». just don’t tell her you love eating cheese, you’ll never hear the end of it. ;) See you soon!

Went in today for my first appointment with a doctor in quite a while. I went to her on the recommendation of others in the community. Dr. Joannow was kind, thorough, and explained everything very well. She is also very down-​to-​earth. I came in at 8:45 am for a 9 am appointment and she was at the front desk (the receptionist came in a few minutes later). She handed me the papers to fill out and I didn’t realize she was the doctor until she told me she was ready for me, come on back! This is a very personal office, not one where you will have to go through recorded messages and automated technology to get real healthcare from a person who cares. I was very pleased with my visit and highly recommend Dr. Joannow.

Dr. Joannow had helped me on numerous times get over my illness. She was nice enough to see me on short notice and take extra time to help me. She’s very bright and was able to diagnosis my problem right away. She even helped me locate a great specialist to ensure I was OK.

Dr. Melanie Joannow is an amazing person and doctor. She takes her time and is very thorough with her patients; she is consistent and always looks in the best interest of her patient. If you do not have an appointment she will not close her door on you. Dr. Joannow always calls with your results, never makes you chase her for any information like other doctors I have been to in the past. Diane, her assistant at the front desk is an absolute delight, she is always helpful and kind with a smile on her face. I recommend Dr. Joannow to everyone that has ever asked me who my doctor is. She is a wonderful example of what a Primary Care Physician is suppose to be.

Dr. Joannow has taken care of my family for a few years now and she is wonderful! She always does her best to see me when in very sick and always takes ours calls. And yes it’s true. I never wait for more than ten min… She’s wonderful, she takes the time and gets know you. Now a days that’s rare… it’s become big business not care!

I started seeing Dr. Joannow about 8 months ago after not having a doctor for a while (and prior to that just going to a clinic). It is so nice to have a doctor who remembers who you are and takes the time to really discuss options with you. The first time I saw Dr. Joannow she was working completely by herself — no receptionist. She said she hadn’t found the right person yet and she would rather do it herself until she found the right fit, which I really respect. So despite being incredibly busy she always finds time to fit me in and she focuses completely on you while you are in the room. She also makes a point of not overbooking so I’ve never had to wait more than ten minutes. I am thrilled with her so far.
