Super disappointed. My nails were done by the man that works there and they are horrible. So uneven and just awful. My pedicure was okay. I’ve had better for $ 21 but, my nails I can’t get over them. They are uneven, some are longer than the others, some don’t cover my whole nail. Just disappointed :(

When I first moved to Dixon I literally tried every nail shop here. then I came across this nail place. And that’s all I know now. Friendly, good customer service, great work in general.

I got a manicure and pedicure. The manicurist made little to no effort to give a massage. She got paint all over my toes. I paid $ 47 for something I could have done at home myself while drinking wine.

Really bummed with my visit. My friend and I had 11:00 appointments for mani and pedi. She was seen right away while I was kept waiting. Long story short, we were there for 2 ½ hours for basic services. I got a fairly bad cut on my toe when she was trimming the cuticle. I could see it bleeding a little. I said something loud enough that she could hear me and she ignored me. The paint job was sloppy on my feet. Eric is very talented, and my mani was nice, but everything else was not so great. If you can’t honor my appointment time, then let me know that when I make the reservation.

There are a lot of nail salons out there. Yet few who care about quality and practice proper disinfection and sterilization techniques to keep the consumer safe from fungal, bacterial and MERSA infections. I went to 5 nail salons in my area. None of them could tell what they were doing to keep us safe from disease transmission. Here at Exquiste Nails I was shown and given a tour of their disinfection station, how they spray and clean their tubs and UV light sterilizer. Mia was very helpful and even gave me a few tips about care for my Gel polish and gave me some cuticle oil. They are truly clean here and do beautiful mani/pedis.

My daughter and her friend made 2 appointments for prom manicures and pedicures. They showed up for their appointments and were told that they did not have appointments. They were asked to wait and waited over 30 minutes. They were then treated extremely rudely as if were their fault that the nail techs were now rushed. I’m happy that they decided to leave and go to another salon. It angers me when business owners do not treat younger people as valued customers. I will NEVER do business with this salon.

This is a really good salon! It’s clean, and Eric does some tight nails! He’s really nice and keeps the conversation going. I’ll be back once I’m able to have that bill again.

My co worker recommended this place to me & I’m really happy she did. Although the process took longer than expected I LOVE my nails. I got exactly what I wanted maybe even better. Def. will continue to use this place in the future.

This was my first time at this salon. It was clean a fair priced. Every one was nice and spoke English the entire time. The color opinions were in OPI and variety of colors.

Updating my review. I have received all services at Exquisite Nails now. Facials, gel nails, pedicures, waxing, and eyelash extensions. Both Mia and Eric are awesome and you will not be disappointed.

I met Mia at a business networking event so decided to try out the Exquiste Nails salon. I’ve gone several times now and have always been very pleased but this time, I am writing because I’m VERY impressed. I went and had a manicure and pedicure before a 10-day vacation. It has now been a full three weeks and my nails are beautiful still! Just a few days ago I had to file a couple of them due to small chips(I had gels) but they are still pretty impressive. I have never had gel nails last this long even after coming home and returning to dishes and housekeeping. I talk and visit with Mia while she works and feel confident that she really knows her work. She has tried several times to get an unhappy customer to be pleased without success so please remember you can’t make all customers happy all the time – but they try and everyone that is in there when I am in there are loyal, repeat customers!

I really don’t know how this place has good reviews. I think it’s a big fat joke. They had no idea what I was asking for. I just wanted gel powder and the girl was like«okay well that doesn’t exist.» What? Don’t tell me it doesn’t exist because I know it does. Please feel free to go back to school. I’m definitely not satisfied with how my nails turned out either. They look so sloppy and not how I would have normally liked them. Not worth the 40 dollars. Like seriously ladies, save your money and go some where else. This is one of the worst places ever. And they also let kids run around and break things. How is that even professional??? Ugh I’m so mad.

My first time getting my nails done was great, everyone was so friendly and helpful. My second appt was for lash extentions done by Mia, she is very skilled in her trade, she took her time and reviewed everything she was doing. They look fantastic. Had my nails done by Eric yesterday and let me just say, he is the best at what he does as well. If your in the Dixon area and need a mani-pedi, wax, eyelashes, this is the place to be. Do not hesitate in making an appointment, as long as I am around, this will be my home plate!!! NONE of the other nail shops in town are as clean and friendly as this place. Give them a call and do not delay.

I always wondered why this place has no business now I know. I went in to this place twice. The first time I went in I asked for a manicure and the guy at the front desk response was«that it? just manicure??? «very rude and unprofessional! I did not go back for more than a year and stopped in last night with my 2 year old daughter again I asked for a manicure and not only did I get the same response… But was then told«you better watch that baby! «SERIOUSLY??? My daughter was standing there holding my hand saying hi! I am confused why a business who caters to women would treat a mother like that. I of course walked out and wentand had my nails and daughters nails done elsewhere. I hope this place shuts down! ***after seeing this review the business emailed me personally to insinuate that I am slandering them… I don’t know about you, but if I was the owner of a business with bad reviews I would not be further alienating my clientele by insulting them more than you already have! Thanks for letting me know that the reason you didn’t want my child in your business was for my own enjoyment, I assure you I enjoy my daughters company and wanted a mommy daughter experience… I did keep your email in case you want to make further claims of slander against me and I will post for all to see if necessary*** ****and here is his response for all to see«Trashy people belong at, walmart with the, rest of, them”**** Real classy, in the meantime I went to Odyssey Nails in Dixon, and they did my nails and my daughters nails, and made it an enjoyable experience. I recommend them if you need nail services.

I recently got an email about my review from a Unilocaler who questioned the validity of my claims against this particular business. Below is the email I sent in response to his questions: Q :“if you came in to get your eyebrows waxed how did you get your eyelids burned? I myself am not a esthetician, but can tell the difference between an eyebrow and eyelid.” A: If you have ever gotten your eyebrows waxed before, you would know that a lot of the waxing occurs below the brow bone. If you had an excess of wax applied, they would most definitely get on the upper part of your eyelid. Q: «If you got burned that bad why did you continue with the service and on top of that, get your upper lip waxed too?» A: Once again, if you’ve ever gotten your eyebrows waxed before you would know that when the wax is first stripped off, there is a little bit of sting, at at that point, you wouldn’t immediately know that you were burned, it just feels like a more intense stinging. And you cannot see what is going on, because you are usually lying down without the benefit of the mirror. Q: «Is it possible that it was a tear instead of a burn? Since you said yourself you had „super sensitive skin“? in your smooth as silk day spa review? ; A: Everyone has sensitive skin on their eyelids, it’s possibly the thinnest layer of skin on the entire body, and yes it was definitely a burn. Although I fail to see why a tear would be anything less to complain about, since neither should have happened had the job been done properly. I’ve had my eyebrows waxed countless times before, and this has never happened to me. Q:“times are definitely hard enough, you shouldn’t be wishing people out of business.» A: I disagree with your sentiment. I believe a business that does a good job should stay in business and thrive. Businesses that try to circumvent the law and feel like regulations do not apply to them should not be in business at all. It is actually an insult to legitimate business people who play by the rules. Our economy is in such a mess partly because certain corporations waited too long to acknowledge that they were making bad decisions and cranking out products that were sub-par and couldn’t compete in the world market. If you want your business to succeed, then do a good job and produce a good product. I stand by my review.
