I really like this Goodwill. The staff is super, super friendly and I always am greeted and welcomed when I enter the store. It is always clean and well organized as well. Like all Goodwills, the prices can be a bit ridiculous most of the time, so we can’t fault them for that. I usually wait until they have a sale day to buy any clothes(usually once a month). You can even sign up for a call list and they will call you before a sale to let you know when it is. I’ve found some really cute and affordable items when I go specifically on sale days. I’ll definitely frequent this thrift store!

I am a resident of Dixon and shopped at Goodwill. I have decided to shop elsewhere at other, «Thriftstores» because more than one time I found an item priced wrong . I just wondered what are the guidelines they follow to price an item? I realize some –grey areas???

Visited this store again. It delivered. I found brand new flowery/Doc Martin like boots and beautiful sparkly heels. I can’t visit Dixon without popping in.

I really try to avoid goodwill. Sure I like a bargain. That’s why I ship thrift stores. But goodwill in general(not just this one) is such a rip off. I’ve seen clothes here that are used for more $ than you can buy brand new at Walmart. The stuff they get for free the charge $$$. Also why does every goodwill have that funky used stale smell? I’ve been to plenty of thrift stores that don’t have that smell. It’s weird. Anyways occasionally if I’m in the area and am bored I’ll go in. But when I do go in I hardly ever buy. It’s just to funky in there. I’ll spend time and gas and go to savers in Vacaville any day over goodwill.

I am a Goodwill fan and this one really let me down. It was clean, but badly organized. They separate by color. I’m a much bigger fan of the size sorting that a lot of them do. The reason I subtracted so many stars is because there is no restroom and most of all it’s extremely over priced! I don’t know who is pricing for this location, but stop the madness. I picked up three dresses and they were all $ 12. For a used dress! The shirts weren’t any better $ 8-$ 10. I don’t mind paying those prices, but not for used clothing. This would be a great location for their half off sales on holidays. There is a lot of great clothing there. I’m just too much of a thrifty thrifter to pay those prices. Lots of parking. It is warm in there, so wouldn’t recommend going on a triple digit day.

A lot of good finds in this location. When it’s summer time, I come here to look for a bunch of Cut off shirts or sleeveless athletic shirts because they’re selection is very big… several racks wide. The staff and employees are very nice and helpful and if you are buying several of a certain thing, you can generally bargain with them for an even lower price! Score! I come here to look at cool knick knacks that are just cool to look at. Lots of sales during select holidays where apparel and such are 50% off. Their store is generally organized and clean, but I think this place does need a make over to make it more inviting. It definitely has the small town feel and hospitality, but the atmosphere itself is a bit dark and gloomy.

They used to be a great place to check out this & that, but the past year or so their prices have gotten WAY too expensive for Goodwill. I’m better off going to a department store and shopping in the clearance section than digging through used stuff that costs the same amount. They do have a large selection of clothes, better than a lot of Goodwill’s I’ve been too, but it’s probably because they are overpriced.
