Dr. Helman is probably the best doctor I’ve ever had. He took time with me, listened to my concerns and was friendly and funny. But most importantly, he knows what he is doing! I had an ingrown toenail, but was nervous to come to the doctor because other family members had had the same problem, and had VERY painful work done by their podiatrists. I went to Dr. Helman, who came very highly recommended. He provided my toe with a proper amount of anesthetic so that I did not feel a thing that was happening. He was very conscientious, and checked on several occasions to ensure that my toe was completely numb (an above and I beyond level of care). I live in Brooklyn and had to travel by train 2 hours to get to Dr. Helman, and I will do it again if I have a foot problem!
