I have yet to have a pizza at The Parlor that I didn’t like. My favorite so far is the lemon pie. I was initially skeptical because the thought of lemons on pizza sounded bizarre, but it was incredible! It tasted so fresh and light, which left room for me to eat even more! I’m also a huge fan of the brussel sprouts. They were sweet yet spicy and prepared in a way that I’ve never seen before. I get them every time I go.

Parlor is desperately trying to be the hipster spot in the river towns, but unfortunately it misses the mark. Problem 1 is the price. Micro pizza for $ 15 to $ 20 is too high. I can get the equivalent at multiple places within walking distance that is cheaper, just as good, and quite a bit larger. Five small chicken wing for $ 12! I was shocked to see the little pieces when they arrive. Should get twice as many(at least) for the price. Two items on the menu were not available too. Issue two are the brews. Parlor markets itself as a place where you get micro brews. Well you can, but they are all bottled. Just one beer on tap. I’m sorry, but for a place that markets craft beer, one should be able to get the beers on tap. This was very disappointing. I was expecting more of a Yard House or brewery experience. Finally, the vibe is okay, but definitely not that great. The décor is minimalist(kind of like Chipotle). This can be nice, but the price is too high for the atmosphere. Price for small pizza, five chicken wings and two beers set me back about $ 50. I left hungry and broke!

How does a pizza parlor run out of dough? Did the supermarket run out of flour? Did the Italian restaurant run out of marinara sauce? At 7PM on a Sunday they have closed because January 16th was a busy weekend and they have«run out of pizza.» This is shameful. We have had two awesome meals here, but after a 15 minute walk from the train station in the snow to this result, I wonder if we will ever be back. All signs point to no.

Most eclectic pizza gem in lohud, we had the meatball pie, can’t wait to try the lunch menu. The craft beer selection is everything #eatmypie

Didn’t even get a chance to eat, so my review is based on my experience on service alone. Walked in and were seated within 5 minutes however, nobody brought us a menu for 25 minutes until we had to get up and request one. However, people around us were being tended to which gave us a weird vibe. After about 10 more minutes someone came to take our order but were out of mushroom pizza, which was what we came in for. Walked across the street to Cedar Street Grill which was phenomenal.

Ahhhh maze ing. I’ve been here at least 5 times now and it never ceases to impress. Casual atmosphere, chill beats, great food, and the beer menu is second to none. Chef Dibari did it again.

We live in Riverdale and the 20 minute trip is well worth having the best quality pizza in the NYC area. The salads and starters are as creative as it gets.

Neapolitan pizza places are springing up like weeds. All are kind of pricy and the menus and look of these places are pretty similar, though some are a little more creative. But the majority are disappointing. I don’t like paying a premium for the appearance of fancy pizza. Ingredients matter. Fresh mozzarella is not all the same. «San Marzano» on a menu is no guarantee of anything. The Parlor stands out as one of the only nearby places of this type that is actually worth it & deserves 5 stars. The pizzas we’ve had here(red/polpette & a white special) were outstanding, as were appetizers. Yes, it’s kind of hipsterish and kind of loud, but we had great service despite it being crowded, wonderful food and enjoyed dessert too. We’ll be back.

This place is capable of some really fine and interesting food. They are also capable of slovenly preparation and true mile wide misses. Tonight’s specials included a crispy quarter rack of ribs. They were not crispy, but managed to be tough, over cooked and chewy without a hint of crisp. The oysters in brown butter were atrocious. Oysters need to be competently shucked and merely heated through. These oysters were mangled by the shucker and cooked to the consistency of balloon shreds. I know the kitchen staff knows better and it was a busy night, but at 3.00 a piece, these should embarrass the place and they ought to come off the menu until someone learns how to deal with the concept. Good idea, but terribly executed. The bivalves were small, badly shucked and way overcooked. The pop corn salad with fennel was interesting with good flavors. The pizza, cooked in a wood fired oven is generally very good, but overcooking is not uncommon. Tonight’s lemon pizza managed to be blackened/burned on top with a soggy crust which proved to be difficult to cut and tough to chew. I like the place and one bad night doesn’t turn me off to it, but I will, in the future, be sending things back to the kitchen for a second try. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The barman was great. The crowd is lively.

My wife and I came here on a Tuesday night and there was a decent crowd shockingly. Parking was relatively easy and the place was much bigger than I thought it would be. The drinks were OK, but the pizza was absolutely fantastic(meatball ricotta). The crispy brussel sprouts were also great and I would totally order it over and over again. The«brookie» dessert left a bit to be desired, but I don’t regret ordering it. Overall, an excellent coal oven pizza spot! One of the better ones in westchester.

This is a fun place to bring friends, family, or a date. Their appetizers and pizzas are delish! One noteworthy appetizer is their brussels sprouts with rice crispies and honey chili oil. Also, you must try hen of the woods. Sounds mysterious, but it’s awesome! As for the pizza, I recommend the margherita, fresh market greens, and nonna(with roasted garlic and shallots). Just get here. You won’t be disappointed! The atmosphere is conducive to conversation, but it gets pretty loud on crowded Friday and Saturday nights. Everyone wants a slice!

Stop thinking about other pizza because the parlor has the whole dough in the oven thing down. We stopped in after a rainy day at the New York Botanical Garden, starving from waiting in that Friday rush hour traffic. Got a cute little table for 2 by the door pretty luckily and quickly — since it does get pretty crowded in there. My girlfriend got a great whiskey cocktail and I helped myself to my favorite — the Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. They have a great craft and regional beer selection as well. We started with the Brussels sprouts which were doused in this delicious spicy chili oil, perfectly crisped and then topped with rice krispies. Yes — I said rice krispies. I swear to you it was like jumping in on a Bill & Ted excellent adventure, visiting your 5th grade self and telling him that he’s a fool for not thinking of this earlier(and for not eating his vegetables). We got the one of the specials as well — a broccoli porridge with Parmesan cheese. To be honest i haven’t had many bowls of porridge in my day but after that experience i’m thinking of starting a restaurant serving only soft foods covered in cheese. Luckily we got to dip a couple slices of our Nonna Pie, a cheese-less pizza, into that bad boy. The pie was great — perfectly thin, sweet garlic marinara and fun to eat. The pizza scissors are honestly a game changer. Overall fun and memorable meal. Original menu and everything I tasted was flawless from start to finish. A little on the pricey side however for two college kids but nice for a special occasion. Definitively need two pies or a couple appetizers if you get one.

We were at the Parlor for lunch and we ordered two pizzas — four cheese and the bone marrow. They were both generally good but because both were sweet, I feel that we should have ordered a different pizza without the sweet sauce. Both pizza came piping hot, but after sometime, the bone marrow pizza became really hard and chewy, which was disappointing. After the pizza, we ordered the half-baked brookie with vanilla ice cream — this also came in very hot and I really enjoyed it! Although I know the Parlor is a fancy pizza place, I thought it was pretty pricey for the amount and quality of food — I especially don’t understand how the brookie and the ice cream turned out to be a whopping eight dollar dish. The server was very attentive and responded generously when I asked him to turn down the music because my friend and I could not hear each other. I may give another shot at the other pizza flavors, but with this pricing, it’s unlikely that I visit again. And I really hope they could find some way to stop flies hovering over the pizza!

They give you scissors in case you bring a date and they have something negative to say about the pizza. Even though we were seated in the way back away from humanity, the sopressata pizza was so good that you could eat it in a crack alley surrounded by heroine needles and still have a smile on your face. Onto the Brussel sprouts. My first reaction for a vegetable is to pick it up and launch it out of my sight, but since these little shits were topped with rice krispies and a heavenly honey I finished that shit and licked the bowl like a dog. The parking sucks but fuck it you’ll need to walk away some of the calories you injest anyway after 3 pies, you fat lazy bastards.

We will be back and soon. Too many good things to try. The staff is awesome and fun. Parlor pockets a must eat. The chicken and waffle app delicious. The pizza dough a perfect consistency-chewy thin carted a bit and just plain tasty. Brussels sprouts and clam pizza on the next trip here for sure! Love the bottled beer and wine on tap concept. Felt like I was in the west village.

Hubby & I went there last night, was not at all what I expected. It’s a rock and roll feel with a lot of parents with little kids crying or older people who want to be hip. We split the clam pie and got 2 beers. $ 18 for a 14″ pie. Way too much. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Heed the reviews. Eat the Brussel sprouts. Eat the Kale. Fantastic. The apps are all delicious. The pizza is a bit slow but good. The more eclectic the better, though a friend had the sausage which was tasty but overly greasy. Worth a visit if you are passing through and shoulf be a staple if you live in the area. One non food related note, the hipster décor has burlap covered benches. Avoid at all costs if you are in shorts or a skirt.

The parlor is a Great addition to Dobbs ferry. Been here several times. But my last visit will actually be my last visit here. Came with some friends on a Tuesday night it was very slow but somehow our food took forever. The pizza came out burnt. My appy took 25 mins. what really grinded my gears was that the bill came out and they added the 20% gratuity on a party of 5. I’m aware of the party of 6 or more rule but 5 people? Okay secondly the tip was on top of tax? Why it’s suppose to be before tax. And lastly they give u the receipt with a gratuity to add on again? I’ve been to places where it says additional gratuity where that is okay but trying to be sneaky and scheme people is not correct I almost signed it and added an additional 20% if it wasn’t for a friend who pointed it out. See picture. Shame on you The Parlor

WOW. I ate at the Parlor tonight with about 12 friends and family. Let’s just start by saying it has now been 6 hours and I am still completely, uncontrollably stuffed. I just couldn’t help myself with all the amazing food at The Parlor. I was lucky enough to get to try a wide array of dishes so let me start from the beginning: To start I had the Brussels Sprouts and Rice Krispies. The concept itself sounds off but for whatever the reason may be it just works. The sweet, very spicy, fried brussels sprouts somehow pair perfectly with the light and airy cereal giving you the perfect mixture in your mouth. Scraped the bowl clean. Definitely try it. My boyfriend(conveniently seated directly next to me for my own culinary pleasure) ordered the chicken and waffles. Being from California, this is a common menu item and some are definitely better than others. Tonight’s chicken and waffles were honestly the best I have ever had. The batter on the chicken was so thick and crunchy, the waffles were fluffy and the blueberry sauce gave it the perfect tang and sweetness. Bowl number 2 scrapped clean. After stuffing our faces with these incredibly unique but fantastic apps, the kitchen sent out a few specials and other appetizers for our large table. The Short Rib literally and I mean literally was so soft and tender that it fell apart the moment it hit your mouth. The flavors were out of this world. The House Cured Bacon and Apple special was also brought out and all I can say is wow. A huge, thick, salty and sweet slab of bacon topped with sweet apples. I could have eaten the whole plate but had to share with the twelve others at the table… Boo for having to be polite. Next up: the PIES. Now being from California I like to stuff my face with an uncontrollable amount of pizza on all of my New York visits because, why not, right? I ordered the White Pizza because I love cheese and love handles. Holy crap. Freaking delicious. Ricotta, mozzarella, garlic & a little spice made this a winner. The crust was charred enough to give it some flavor and texture but still stay fluffy inside. I passed my pizza around the table and it was a huge hit with all four who gave it a try. My boyfriend ordered the The Easter Pie — soppresssta, ricotta and egg. I’ve never had a pizza with egg before and I’ll never go back to my old ways. It was fantastic. Aside from stealing two pieces, I was eating the crumbs he dropped on his pizza tray. So good. So embarrassing. I was like a starving scavenger except I wasn’t starving at all. Other winners for our table were the beet salad, meatball pizza, brussels sprouts pizza & margarita pizza. I can honestly say not one person had a single negative comment about the food, décor, service or experience. I read some reviews from people complaining about cutting the pizza with scissors. Give me a break! It was so simple and made it so much easier to cut up pieces to share(I was able to make them small to preserve most of the pizza for myself) just kidding, but not really. I loved getting to cut my own pieces and I can’t believe anyone would complain about that! Also on a side note, the fact that they have all these odd and old beers is awesome. We had a Schaffer and a Colt 45 for the table. It doesn’t get much more old school than that. If you’re looking for fantastic, innovative, delicious pizza then this is your place. I can’t say enough good things so you’ll just have to try it for yourself! Feel free to bring me a pie to go during your visit. I’ll accept USPS, FedEx or UPS to California. My address is…

Small place with a fun & laid-back atmosphere. The menu has two options: starters and pies. The starters are all pretty good with the exception of being on the small side. Most pizza choices are very good;however, they only feed about two or three people. All pies are served with scissors allowing you to cut your own slices and adding a little bit of fun to your dining experience. For starters: Brussel Sprout Salad(soo yummy), Olives(love their olives) & Chicken & Waffles(had a kick to it and was not a fan) Pizza Choice: Clams, Shrooms, Potato & Egg Dessert Choice: Waffle with Vanilla Ice Cream and Nutella
