I am greatly familiar with this brand of Thrift stores, as I frequent the other locations throughout the Chicago land area. The prices have significantly changed over the past year or so. This store used to have great prices, but have recently changed ownership. Since then, the prices are steadily creeping up. For example, I found a decent pair of Women’s FILA sneakers priced at $ 60. WHAT??? You can pay that price in the regular retail store!!! Still, occasionally you can find a great buy on Mondays, when everything is half-priced! But, in the aforementioned example, I still would have paid $ 30 for USEDSHOES! Unbelievable, right!!! Moreover, the staff can be EXTREMELY crabby. They all seem to hate their jobs, and they grumble when you ask them any kind of questions! AND, the lines are unbelievable on Monday’s or other«special event days.» Still, there are hidden gems to be found in this store, which sometimes makes it worth it for me to still go! Keep a look out for the overhead sign, which indicates the«colored tags of the day.» Some colors are 25% off, 50% off, or nothing! FYI: This really isn’t the place to go if you are looking for any furniture items.

I like this thrift store, my favorite in the area(for clothes). I am a college student so i look for cool trendy clothes and I find something in every area including mens. Its clean, organized and doesnt smell. I shop about every couple of months because im away for school, but ive heard they dont get alot of donations so the clothes dont turn over(new in old out) super quickly(reason for 4 stars). I would go and look around

I already hate Unique for their overpricing of donated goods and unnecessarily convoluted discount system(some colors 25%, some 50%, but only certain kinds of color tags, only at certain times, blah blah blah), but this one captures everything I hate about this thrift store chain in one convenient poop package. Cheap Target castoffs at or possibly higher than retail price. Jewelry prices are especially ridiculous, one example being 11.99 for a tiny(but sterling!) ring; 5.99 for a plastic bangle. Your stuff isn’t all that, and it definitely isn’t unique. Staff members abound here, but they don’t busy themselves with customers. Every time I go in here I’m disappointed with what I encounter, and the prices are never justified, even if you happen to find a discounted tag and it’s the special day where that discount counts. The best thing about this store is that the racks of crap are color-coded.

A complete and utter travesty. OUTRAGEOUS prices for crap. I saw a dress from Target a couple of years ago that was pilling and ratty priced at $ 8.99! Nine freaking dollars for that? I bought a necklace to restring that was $ 7.99! I really wanted the beads so I caved a bought it. The whole store is just ridiculous. Never ever will I be back. Get a grip on reality, you are not a department store. The items are not new. They are used. Some VERY used. Blanket pricing for items without regard to condition is totally appalling.
