They have too many clothes for their facility, clothes should be by size and color so they will be easier to find. They have so many clothes stored outside under tarps, when they can give some to another facility and instead of letting them getting messed up by the rain. Poor management decisions.

This Salvation Army opened approximately 6 months ago. It is inside of an old car dealership on 159th Street in South Holland. When it originally opened, prices were very unreasonable and they did not have a discounted color of the day. However, the management apparently listened to customer feedback and the prices are now aligned with other Salvation Army locations. The color of the day is posted at the front door, snd the color changes on Mondays. The lighting is very bright, and the store is neat and organized. A nice variety of old school music plays on the overhead speakers, while you shop for that«hidden gem.» And, I have never left this location with at least a small«find.» Jewelry and Women’s Clothing is located at the front of the store, with DVDS and Women’s Undergarments over to the right. On the right, there is entry into another very spacious room, where Men’s clothing and Children’s clothing is located. Then, there is another very spacious room beyond there, with Furniture, Housewares, Linens, and Books. As with most thrifting adventures, you must take your time to find the«gems» that suit your tastes. Vintage can be found here and Trendy can be found here… At this point, I have never come when if was crowded.
