I had a wonderful experience. I ordered la Fabada Asturiana. I thought I was in Pola de Lena. Volveré sin duda. And the wait staff was excellent.

Nice ambiance, live music, but food left much to be desired; not fresh, not hot, vegetables were prepared from frozen, asparagus salad not appetizing

Brisas de España the paella was delicious we ordered the Lobster paella. It was mouth watering good. When we placed the order the server Omar explained that we would have to wait about as it was being cooked. That was ok because we appreciated the honesty. We then orders tapas and sangria. The food arrived and it was what I imagined, I had my WOW moment. After dinner came dessert, coffee and the check! The restaurant is in the Doral area near 836 off Nw 87 ave. vey central area. Prepare to feast when you come because we had leftovers and could not eat further we were so full. In all we enjoyed ourselves, the restaurant is a bit pricey but good. They have a deli type store on the other side were the tables and waiters are. It was very nice

I think it’s pricey for what the place has to offer and for the locations and everything in it The food was good but not great, we order a paella for my moms birthday, went there and the server was very nice but the paella was lack of seafood

The Valencia paella was very tasteful and plentiful that we had to take leftovers. The only complaint is the service. We happened to get the most mediocre waiter and busboy out of all the staff that night… you had to work hard to get their attention to get water or to serve you the sangria. Definitely left a bad taste that we had to mentioned it to the manager.

Drove from Pompano Beach while on vacation for their paella. Don’t understand the negative reviews. Yes the staff is not fluent in English or may not speak it at all it’s MIAMI not DC or NY! The menus is in English. The lunch specials are well priced but come here for paella and are willing to spend the $$. My son loves croquettes and we were able to purchase a dozen frozen so we could take back to MD with us. Their desserts are awesome. Bought a birthday cake for a friend we were on the way to visit and everyone loved it! We come here whenever we are in South Florida.

This place is a rip off… Alion wine 2011 — sells at this place for $ 175.00 btl, Total wine sells the same exact vintage for $ 79.00 per btl. Every wine there is way overpriced Vega Sicilia Valbuena 2007 was $ 275.00 per btl, over $ 100.00 more than any place else Try not ripping off your customers…

3.5 stars. I have eaten here only once but i have bought some of their products on several times. I do no think it is outstanding considering their prices but overall I like the place. And most of all I always leave pleased with the service. Last time I went Angel, the manager, was there and he even gave my bf a discount for my 10 turrones and my cheeses, which is highly appreciated. And their cheeses, ohhh their cheeses!

Brisa de España is the closest one can get to actually being in Spain. I have carefully read the negative reviews that people leave here. I think they are mistaken. It’s nothing like they have described. When I feel nostalgic about Spain, I come back to this place, It’s true that the waiters don’t speak English but I did not know that one must speak English to give good service. Besides, the menu is in English too. You can point, and they will understand. The fact that they don’t speak English does not mean they are inefficient. MIAMI is a Spanish speaking city. That’s just the way it is. MANY places have non-English speaking people. This is a wonderful restaurant and this is Miami, not Arlington. However, you DO have the right to your opinion, Jaqueline… as of today, we are still a free country(maybe not for long…) Love to all !!! You will have a blast at this restaurant.

If you like authentic tapas and other dishes from Spain you’ll love this place. They also have a nice market as part of the establishment with a nice selection of Spanish wines and other items from Spain. While you are there give the mango custard a try, its delicious.

Great potaje asturiano. Tasty sangría. The food take time is you are in a rush you will rate the service bad. But good and fresh food take time. We enjoy the clean place and look like a little town in España.

I have been coming here for years now(every Friday) and I have always had a good experience. The service is good, they treat me like family, the food is well prepared and it’s good quality. The restaurant itself is also very clean. They have a good selection and variety of Spanish plates and desserts(try the mousse de chocolate and the mousse de mango!!!) It’s not my favorite restaurant but it is a good place to come and relax and have a meal with the family. P. s the live music is beautiful

Ehhh, not a big Paella fan, but when my parents ordered a huge plait for a party to pick up, I arrived later than the expected time and this kind of rude employee seemed clueless when I told her my name. She went to the back, came back, asked my name for a third time, went to the back, came back, and told me they had no record of my order being prepared. WHAT? My party is in 1 hour and you’re telling me my Paella isn’t even prepared? Long story short, turns out they gave my order to another customer who had left 10 minutes before I arrived. You could tell she was fed up and her mind was elsewhere, so she directed me to the manager who very kindly helped me and ended up giving me ANOTHER customer’s order. I mean, good for me I guess, but really? The employee even had attitude with her and the manager ended up correcting her in front of me, but at least she did. I guess out of convenience I would come back since people say the food is actually good, but they should definitely have a lot more organization and workers who at least smile when they’re confused!

I am disgusted by the customer service in this establishment. For a $ 40 dessert I expect at least for them to be helpful but we walked in and helped ourselves to the dessert, took it to the counter while the workers by the door kept their apparently very important conversation going. Finally they decide to help us and give us a giant box where the dessert is now rolling back and forth in even after we told her it would and she insisted it would not. She asked if our trunk was too small which one no it is not but two it is something you don’t ask as it sounded disrespectful and rude. We asked to close the top to which she said no because it would squish the top and we said we didn’t mind because it was to be eaten by friends and family who don’t care and her very profesional reply was«you do it and be responsible for that» let me tell you something, I have spent MONEY in this place in food and desserts but usually have someone pick it up for me, today I had the TERRIBLE experience of having to pick it up myself and dealing with these less than mediocre employees. For the future of this place I hope the owner rethink his staff.

So word on the street is that they’re great for breakfast but unless you’re willing to spend over $ 20 per person on lunch alone, then it may not be the best lunch spot. The cheapest paella was about this much and there was not one entrée I could find that was less than that. On my recent visit to Spain, not once did i pay anywhere close to this for a paella. So I was not about to pay it in Doral… don’t care how good they say it is. We were about to settle for tapas when I found ONE lunch special advertised and it seemed like a great deal. $ 10 would buy you soup, chicken and a dessert! This had been a great deal except someone may have spilled the salt shaker onto the plate because the chicken was inundated in salt… a flavor I care not to ever want to repeat. On a positive note, service was fast and thank goodness for the bread roll served at the beginning and the cream of potato soup and dessert… they saved the day but shortly after I was left hungry again and upset about my salty chicken. Not a fan!

The whole experience on Friday night(last night) was fantastic. A flamenco guitarist belting out standards(e.g., Rodrigo’s Aranguez) made the setting very nice. This is the only spanish restaurant I know of in Miami — and I’m confident there are more upscale ones, but this one has genuine menu offerings that harken to Iberia. We had a bottle of Crianza(Tempranillo/Mazuelo blend) as well as an Albariño(white). Opened up with two simple tortillas(one traditional, one ham/cheese). As expected, the«kid’s menu» is virtually non-existent and consists of «deditos de pollo»(chicken fingers) and fries. This isn’t a surprise. The menu also features only one chicken dish for those opting out of the seafood, beef, ox, lamb and veal fare. My wife and dear mother-in-law opted for that singular dish and were underwhelmed with the blandness of the dish(pan fried breast with onions accompanied by sautéed vegetables). In fact, they both preferred the deditos that where lingering on the kids plates. The deditos were done just right — and a Milanese sauce accompanying them may have given them credibility on the general menu to boot! But, I digress… I opted for the chuletas de Cordero con patatas cocidas and couldn’t have been happier. Had espinacas a la crema been offered, it would have been perfect. So… Why the four stars? Well… The dessert tray presented itself and the entire table lit up. All the traditionals we’re present — along with nontraditional options. Two café solos — we skipped the Jerez — and we wrapped up a great Friday evening! This place is a combo deal — with the left side being a storefront of hard-to-find spanish items(I picked up an lb of Bomba rice from Murcia) — and there’s a website from which to order. They stock ALL of the paellas — as well as a very broad range of cazuelas. Check ‘em out at

My review is not about food since I didn’t get that far. They should learn to respect not only their interests but customers as well since both are tied. I stopped by to purchase piece of «5J» Jamon. Came inside and had to look for someone since nobody approached me there. «Got helped» by the owner who tried to sell me 2lb leftover hard as stone. When I mentioned it to him he replied:“good Jamon is hard”. I know about good Jamon and how it has to be so I walked away.

The food is excellent but don’t expect a smile from your server or prompt attention from the lady behind the dessert counter. Employees need to be courteous and patient. Like I said, we enjoy the food but don’t come as often because of the service.

Why do I get the feeling that non-spanish speaking customers are not welcomed? Well, let’s start with the grumpy staff who don’t speak english(or prefer not to). I don’t know about you, but service with a smile goes a long way. A group of us came for a visit, and a friend had been here multiple times, so we decided to venture out here in Doral. This place is half market half restaurant that sells cured meat(e.g. prosciutto, salami, etc.) and cheese. It’s spanish, meaning straight from Espana, but with a a little cuban/local vibe to it. Restaurant-wise, very low key with a huge collection of wines. The menu stated that they had Dom Perignon on the menu for only $ 190…so hell yeah we ordered one! Except… they didn’t have it. We settled for the wine on the table. It was nice, and paired well with the meal. We placed an order first for paella, since we know it can take a long time. They told us it’d be 45 minutes, but it was more like an hour instead. Perhaps, that’s why we tried to order it first and if they had placed it earlier, it could’ve been 45 minutes. We then got a large plate of prosciutto and cheese to share. Good, nothing special. An hour later, the food comes. For the 4 of us, we shared 2 paellas, fried sea bass, and grilled veal on the bone. The veal was a bit dry, but was very flavorful. The fish was on the small side, but good nonetheless. The seafood paella was delicious and was packed with mussels, shrimp, scallops. Overall, the food was really good. If only the waiter wasn’t so grumpy, and if only the food hadn’t taken so long. Too many«ifs» to give this place 4 stars, which on food alone is worth it.

One rainy Friday, I walked in and decided to give this place a try. Everything in the shopping center its’ located inside of was packed so I opted for the cozy Spanish option. The setup, I LOVE. it was decorated so perfectly with the retail side on one end and the seating area on the other end. As I browsed the menu, I was comforted to see that they had many traditional Spaniard plates that I recognize. I went with the Paella & Sangria. The paella had a bit more rice than I had wished for… but the service made up for it. The best part was the live music that started right after I ordered. It was a mesh of the Guitar, Sangria, Calamari & occasional cigarette break that made this lunch turn into the beginning of an awesome relationship. Everytime I pass by this place I think back to that rainy day & how their Paella changed my life.

Love this restaurant. We come here often and the staff is great and treats us like family. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Spanish food I’ve ever eaten, but it’s good. The paella they make on Sunday’s is excellent.
