I bought a set of S plug ear buds for my wife so she could listen to music on our rides. They worked fine for the first nine or so times she used them, and then one speaker stopped working. They were less than a year old so I thought(incorrectly) that they should be covered under warranty. These were always either in my wife’s ears or in the case that they came in so I was a bit bewildered when I sent them in for repair and was billed $ 112 for them. When I asked about the charge, Marilyn stated that the speakers were dented and thus not covered by the warranty(a claim that I find highly suspect). If these are so fragile that they get«dented» with normal use then, take my advise and buy a different product. They’re apparently far too fragile for the price and intended use plus the warranty isn’t worth the time it took me to write the word.

This business took my $ 171 readily… sent me my earphones… they worked(kind of) for 1.5 days… upon returning them — Marilyn the owner says – sorry not our fault — $ 50 more dollars to fix them. Now she is refusing to acknowledge my email and was belligerent on the phone repeating— you did it — which if totally false. BUYSOMEWHEREELSE… save your self the aggravation.

I was sold on the idea of ear molded speakers for my motorcycle riding. I found Marilyn’s web site and contacted her about getting some made while I was in Florida. I drove to her house and she made the mold. I paid total up front then I flew back to California. After a couple weeks and several tries trying to reach her by phone and e-mail, I gave up. I called my bank and they did a reverse charge and I got my money back.

Need custom earplugs or earbuds? This is the place for you. Needing some earplugs for our son who was learning to swim, we stumbled across . After a brief call with Marilyn, the owner and audiologist, she asked us to stop by to create molds from his ears that would be used to fashion the earplugs. Located in one of Doral’s gated communities, Marilyn is friendly and efficient. She methodically measured his ears, then put a silly putty-like substance in his ears, which dried, to create the mold. A few days later, the earplugs were ready. We picked them up, but they can be mailed as well. Besides looking cool(red for the right ear, blue for the left ear), they work really well. They do not allow any water to get into the ear — and he can still hear, albeit somewhat diminished. She also makes custom earbuds.
