The foods here are reasonable prices. Fast service but some workers aren’t really friendly. We like their special lobsters with gingers and three colors dumpling. We always stop by there if we are in town.

This place is pretty good food wise and the service is what you’d expect from a traditional Asian restaurant haha but definitely a nice place to bring friends as they have big round traditional Chinese tables for everyone to share.

My friend and I came here to dinner on a Monday night around 7:30p. I was able to sit in the room with the larger banquet tables where it was a bit quieter for me and my friend to chat. We ordered the shacha/sateh stir fry beef and the fish sauce eggplants. The food came out quickly and looked very appetizing. Both dishes were alright, but definitely very greasy. I think I’d like to try other dishes next time(hopefully not so greasy) since these were a bit too oily. The portions are pretty large so we both took leftovers home for lunch the next day. The service here was fine, one of the staff here was very friendly and told us we didn’t have to rush but gave us our check in case other staff neglected us.

I came here for Mother’s Day and this place was sooo packed. Soo packed that they ran out of glasses and started using styrofoam cups for customers. However being packed means one thing… the food must be amazing. Once seated we were giving a bowl of salted peanuts to munch on as the food would take a while. We ordered fish maw soup, sweet and sour pork, salt and pepper squid, kong qin vegetables, and fried tofu with pork sauce. Fish maw(air bladder) soup with red vinegar was very tasty. The texture sets it apart from other soups. The sweet and sour pork was actually bone in and fried to a crisp. The salt and pepper squid was surprisingly flavorful, not like the normal frozen squid at restaurants. What was most surprising was the fried tofu dish. The tofu is extremely soft with a crispy exterior. It was by far the best dish I tasted there and I noticed half the restaurant ordered it.

BoBo Garden is a favorite for my friends and I. I gave it 5 stars due to the following: 1. Location: It’s on Buford Hwy on the left after you off 285. Huge shopping center, you should be able to see it right away. 2. Setting: The restaurant is huge! Separately in 2 different areas. Once you walk in, you will see a cashier/host counter. If you look ahead, you will see an area with a few tables, along with fish tanks in the back of the room; However, if you look to your right once you walk in the door, you will notice another section of the restaurant. I think they reserve this other section for bigger groups. 3. Service: the servers are always so nice and accommodating. They are happy to offer any suggestions, if you’re stuck and don’t know what to eat. 4. Food: I love the snow pea tips dish, the peking duck, fish maw soup, and wonton noodle soup. Those are my top 4 favorite dishes there, but they have other great items as well. I’m just not a big fan of fish, so I don’t care to order it every time. 5. Price: The prices are comparable to the other Chinese restaurant around the area. I always come here because they are always consistent. Overall, I like this place a lot because of the food and the fact that they open late. I’m always hungry! It’s a must try if you’re in the area.

Bo Bo Garden is a family style Chinese restaurant. You pretty much order a bunch of stuff to share with one another or fight over the food. Either way will do. Their food is fairly decent. Try their Pekin Duck, Salt & Pepper Squid, Garlic Snow Pea Leaves, Fish Maw Soup, Tofu and Spinach Soup, and Rice Soups. After your meals, they usually serve you oranges. I don’t know if I should tell you this or not but if you ask for«tong sui» instead, you’ll get their Chinese sweet soup. It’s pretty much a Chinese dessert. Now don’t go ordering all the desserts, ok?

I came on a whim after driving up BuHi, literally, trying to satisfy my craving for honey walnut shrimp. Thankfully, this place was opened. I wanted to try a new place, anyway. Service was relatively quick as I got seated right away. I already knew what I wanted and the waiter immediately put in that order. The shrimp was plump and succulent. The mayo sauce was adequately creamy and the honey satisfied my palate. The steamed broccoli was a welcomed addition. There was plentiful. I couldn’t eat all this myself and it fulfilled its purpose as a mediocre lunch leftover the next day. When I was stuffed and ready to pay, I was treated to a liquid dessert. I was grateful for this light palate cleanser. I’d like to come back with a large group and try more items.

Bo Bo Garden has an expansive menu of traditional Chinese dishes with options that satisfy picky and outgoing eaters. We ordered four dishes and enjoyed all of them! The portions for the entrees here are pretty large so no one should leave hungry. On top of that, complimentary tea is brought out when you arrive which is always a plus. The waitress was not super friendly but the food made up for it so it was ok. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and definitely want to come back to try some of their weirder dishes!

Another Atlanta favorite for me. I dropped by close to midnight on a saturday and they were still busy. We ordered the salt n pepper fish, which had plenty of salt and no pepper, but the fish was fresh and the meal tasted great. We also ordered the eggplant with beef(usually comes with salted fish) and after a little bit of a mixup, we finally got the right meal and loved it. Their service is always so quick and the food always comes out hot.

I’ve heard about Bo Bo Garden for years, but never actually had the time/chance to dine in and try their menu. I definitely recommend going with a group to do a family-style so you can try everything. I wish I could remember every dish we had, but everything was good. I do remember eating these: Tofu with Minced Pork and Spicy Sauce Fish Hotpot Pork with Chives Everything was good, especially the tofu. The waiter was helpful too and speaks English, so don’t feel intimidated.

Having a Chinese bae = having great Chinese recommendations. Been trying to find a good restaurant to take relatives and this is it! My aunt and uncle loved it. can’t wait til my parents come so I can take them here(they’re from Boston, so their expectations are high). Thanks, boyyyfraannn! From the outside, you’d think it’s this little shack type of restaurant but the inside is a lot larger than it seems. The place is relatively clean and the waitstaff was friendly(despite being super busy). My aunt and uncle were giddy about how good the food looked when it passed by them. We ordered about 5 dishes with 4 people. Ong choy(mmm, reminiscent of my dad’s cooking) was sauteed with lots of garlic. I LOVEGARLIC. But be warned, not everyone will. Other recommendations: eggplant with minced pork, steamed fish with ginger and spare ribs in black bean sauce. However, do not get the duck. It was extremely salty. Yuck. If you really wanted a roasted duck, I suggest go to a restaurant that specializes in it.

I used to love this restaurant when it was 100% Korean a long long long time ago. The new concept is ok, food, ok, and expensive. This is the reason I didn’t give it a 3. Lunch on Sunday for 2, without beer as it seems more and more restaurants on Buford Highway stopped selling beer on Sunday was 43.00 without tip. I’ll drive another 7 minutes north OTP and get quality food at better prices,.

This review is based on my 1 time limited experience. I came in and ordered to go. I only came for the Water Spinach. I was hungry so I also ordered some shrimp fried rice. The total came to more than $ 20. Woo Woo Wait a Minute. I ordered rice with shrimp and a vegtable side. $ 20??? Apparently the Water Spinach is this rare plant grown only in the tropics and it costs much to get it here. It can be found in certain places and blah blah blah. In addition to that, it is not a side item. It is a VERYLARGE portion and a meal by itself. I had enough food for the next couple of days. The rice was fair, not amazing at all. The Water Spinach… I want more just typing about it. It was really good and healthy. It was roughly $ 12 but its worth trying, especially if you like plant based food and/or spinach(which I love). It was a Friday night on my visit and they had a nice crowd. It is a large interior space with seating in the front and rear. Being pretty busy I was greeted and seated fast and my food was handed to me in a few minutes. I would go back for the Water Spinach and to try a new menu item as well.

Came here with a group of friends to celebrate my bf’s bday and since he had been craving for some authentic Chinese cuisine, I chose to have the celebration dinner here. We ordered: C1. Eggplant & minced pork with garlic sauce C15. Pork belly stewed with pickled mustard H2. Crispy garlic flavor chicken half(bone-in) G14. Tofu & minced pork with spicy sauce Gai lan(chinese broccoli dish that we ordered just to have more veggie dish to balance the meal) Mostly everything was very good! We especially loved the pork belly, eggplant, and tofu dishes. However, the gai lan was undercooked a bit as it was a bit too fiberous to chew.

Let me first say this: Look, just forget whatever you think you know about sweet & sour chicken and«Mongolian» beef. Just forget that, okay? The menu here at Bo Bo Garden is kind-of large. And there are MANY things here which you won’t find on a «westernized» Chinese menu. There are a variety of soups, noodles, dumplings, casseroles… It’s the kind of menu that makes me wish I could read at least SOME variety of Chinese language. Bo Bo Garden is in the crook of the elbow of the strip-mall known as Pine Tree Plaza. This used to be a Korean restaurant. It’s conversion to Chinese has been generally celebrated. I would have to agree – the food here is really, very good. The smell briefly reminded me of the greatness that was Gu’s Bistro. I met a friend here for lunch, and we were both very pleased with our meal. Lunch portions were modestly sized. I wish I could remember what my dish was called.(I had an omelet with veggies and chicken in it.) My friend had the winner, though. She had a mushroom & sliced chicken combo. Predictably good. I’ll happily return. Holler if you’re coming with.

Simply satisfied~ Despite its overall review of 3.5, go for yourself and try out the dishes because it’ll surprise you. My colleague and I went for lunch and it was super delicious and affordable. Bobo garden is located opposite of chief liu on buford hwy, where Korea Garden used to be located. Restaurant is divided into 2 room where one had fresh fish tanks and the other with chandelier for banquets. Interior looked like a typical restaurant and tidy. For lunch, they offer great specials that range from $ 5 to $ 7. Yes, they offer lunch at $ 5 and even offer rice and soup with it! These deals are pretty unheard of! Anyways, aside from the great price, food quality was super as well~ We ordered the eggplant minced pork with garlic sauce and it was one of the best dishes that I had that was majority veggies. Flavor was plenty and portion wad generous as well! Cant wait to try other dishes and for our next visit!

One of my new favs! A group of us all came here for one giant family sized meal sharing and it was amazing and delicious and by the end of it we probably needed to be rolled out. Major kudos to Danny R. & Morgan F. for introducing me to this place. :) Since we all basically ordered a dish among 8 people we created a mountain of food and it was absolutely amazing and not that expensive at all to get to try so many dishes. We rested on the braised duck, tofu, salt and pepper squid, veggies, and a few other items, with the tofu becoming the crowd favorite. Some of the better to best tofu I’ve had in awhile! Some of the highlights were— The braised duck half was nicely done, with a crisp skin with very moist meat. If this is the standard, I’d recommend trying their duck if you haven’t had duck before. The tofu isn’t really vegetarian safe since the sauce has a meat, but I think there is another one on the menu that is veg friendly. I forgot which one we got, but I think it was the veg friendly one. Either way, it’s excellent. The salt & pepper squid I found really good too. Had a nice crispiness. Made me really want to try the salt & pepper prawns for the future. The staff was kind enough to let us hold a family sized table for our group for a very long time too… The place was a bit packed and we were worried we were taking up space and thought we should just wait outside to be courteous, but they insisted we just wait. We hadn’t really ordered anything or touched anything yet, so it’d not have been an issue, but it was nice they let us wait. If you’re looking for an awesome sit down meal with friends, please give Bo Bo Garden a try!

«Hong Kong Style Lobster for 2» — I think it’s very close to becoming my new entry for«last meal on earth»! I’d been eyeing this dish ever since its feature as one of Creative Loafing’s «100 Dishes» for 2015. Their description enticed me too: «battered with rice flour, and fried … Each bright orange section is speckled with crunchy bits of fried garlic, scallion, and spicy ginger.» It was all that and more. The crunchy bits also included tasty dried shrimp and pork. This dish is actually two lobsters chopped up, shell-on, battered and fried. As you can imagine, eating is super messy — make sure the server brings you the lobster cracker tools and thin forks. Remember to pull up your sleeves too. And don’t feel alone if you enjoy sucking on the lobster shells — I won’t lie, similar guilty pleasure I get from KFC’s original recipe fried chicken skin :) How much? Market price. It was $ 29.95 a couple wks ago. When the Creative Loafing article came out, it was $ 35. This dish is served year-round. We also ordered the very delicious«House Special Beef Fillet»($ 15.95) which is highlighted in my previous review. Next time I’d like to try the«Black Pepper Steak» — one of the tables ordered it and it smelled so good, sizzling like steak fajitas.

When I first came to Bo Bo Garden, I was not a fan. At all. Mainly because… my bf and I had no idea what dishes to try out/eat. We figured the typical Lo Mein would be fine, hahaha. But after coming here multiple times with my friends — I definitely know what to order. Now I come here probably once a month when I have a craving for good Chinese food. I guess I was too much into Korean food: P Parking — 5⁄5. Bo Bo Garden is a part of a strip. The same strip/area as Chef Liu’s and Honey Bits. You will find parking … 100% of the time. Yes, 100% of the time. :D Space & Service– Looking on the outside, Bo Bo Garden looks small. But once you go inside, it’s pretty big! So many tables that can fit 4 – 10 people. I’ve seen several families eat here. Service — sometimes it’s good/bad. I’m not Chinese, so when my friends who do speak fluently come with me, the service is great. Sometimes if I just come with me and my bf, the service can be OK. But hey — I just show them a pic of what I want on Unilocal, and they understand! Not complaining. Prices here are pretty good too. Not too expensive. I think my own group of friends eat here whenever we have a bigger party. The portions of each dish are awesome. My favorite dishes so far: Mapo Tofu — It’s not the best in ATL, but it’s good enough to satisfy my appetite. I love the soft tofu and the enriching taste. It’s a little greasy sometimes, but nothing a bowl of rice can help with. Crispy Tofu with Beef — Probably the best Crispy Tofu I’ve had so far in ATL. Many would disagree, but the tofu is so well done and the addition with the beef and sauce… yumm. Beef Congee — I love Congee in general. I can eat it when I’m bored, sick, want something light. Can’t mess this up! Salt and Pepper Garlic Chicken — My only thing with this dish: wish it didn’t have bones :(But that’s just my preference. The flavor, taste, and smell are awesome and enticing. Pick Up wise — always done when I get there. I live near GT, so it takes me about ~15 mins to get it.

The food is delicious, the problem is very expensive… the sauce of lobster is amazing and the seafood rice is good flavor but too much oil and little bit seafood…
