Honeysuckle Park

Honeysuckle Park is geared towards people interested in participating in a rec league or just looking to play a game or two on an open field with friends. The park is equipped with areas for basketball, soccer, volleyball, football, and baseball.
The park also offers a facility that houses health and wellness classes such as Zumba and Martial Arts. On my visit I walked the trail and participated in Zumba. The class was smaller than I expected but it was so much fun! The trail was pretty quiet and clean. This isn’t your typical park but it serves as a great backdrop to reminisce about your glory days on the basketball court.

Eh. This park wasn’t crowded by any means. Perhaps because the bf’s group was near the end where the football field is? There were a few group of people here as well walking and biking along the track, but it was for the most part near empty.
We chose this area because it provided a large space for the dozen of us to play frisbee. There was also a swing set and some exercise bars with instructions. Interesting right?!
The park was clean and the grass looked like it was maintained. It just looked like a shabby park since it was empty and sort of near a shady ish area.
Parking was plentiful. It was only a couple of miles (two or three) from the Chamblee Police Station if you need a reference point.

Angry Dragon Volleyball hosts several outdoor grass volleyball tournaments here throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall.
Nice even ground (for the most part) and a great size!
