I’ve been a fan of this place since a friend with a car took me here all the time when I lived in Southie. Still a big fan. They’ve always got something I like on sale, the beer and wine selection is pretty good for what is actually not a huge space, and, duh, it’s attached to the Shaw’s, so it’s very convenient. Plus, you know, for you car-havers, there’s looots of parking. For you non-automobiled, it’s convenient to the T.

Great wines and select beers and spirits, this is the place i got to for my stuff since i live in the harbor point area… good prices and real nice people work there that will let you kno which wines that your looking for if you dont kno which kind is best, and its inside the shaws store so you cant beat that grubb and drinks who could ask for anything better

Good liquor store, convenient to Shaws (it’s attached) and JFK/UMass T station… so you can get some grocery shopping and alcohol in one stop.
They have a good wine selection, and I even found a new, very tasty wine that I’m a huge fan of! I love sweeter tasting Riesling wine, especially German Riesling. I was browsing through their selection, and found a wine called «Liebefraumilch» translates to = Beautiful Woman’s Milk. I thought this was hilarious, and had to buy it… it was only $ 6… and besides, it said Qualitätswein (Quality Wine) on the label and the Germans don’t lie. I LOVED IT!

I loooooooved living near this place! I mean, id go to shaws, get some junk, place the basket next to frozen food then go into the liquor store (which was internally attached??) and get my 3 for $ 10 wines ha… then finish shopping.
I liked this liquor store, it wasn’t too expensive, it was convenient and it was friendly. I miss them.

This is a pretty typical liquor store. It has a pretty good selection and the staff is fairly friendly. It’s convienent as it’s located adjacent to the Shaw’s, so you can do some multi-purpose shopping. Nothing special, but it’s useful and fairly typical.
