Lower Mills Branch Library

I tend to forget this library branch is around the corner from my house. It’s a little rundown, but the staff is knowledgeable and friendly (duh, they’re librarians). I have interacted most with the children’s and young adult librarian, who knows a lot about what teenagers and middle schoolers like to read, and she also is very good about helping you if you should walk in and say you need all the books they have on a particular folktale (because she did it for me). I now request books through the BPL online catalog and pick them up here. This branch does have DVDs and books on tape, but I didn’t see much that was current. Oh well. This branch is good for my own attempts to spend less money on books and keep it local at my library.
