Cheeburger is one of my favorite chain spots in Dothan. The burgers are amazing, and you have GOT to order the onion rings! The only complaint I have is that they typically take a long time to prepare your meals – longer than most comparable restaurants. But, if you have time for the wait, I recommend choosing Cheeburger for lunch or dinner. It’s also close to the movie theatre, so that’s an nice perk.

The quality of the food has completely tanked in the last three months. We keep trying them again because of past good experiences, but recently every single order has been wrong, cold when arrives via delivery, or both. Milkshakes are blended into one single consistency; any toppings you get will be ground down to a paste indiscernible from the rest of the shake. Burgers are literally thrown together, with meat and toppings sliding off. Long story short: If you want food made with any care or thought whatsoever, go to Five Guys instead.

Wasn’t the best burger I had but just ok. I had the 14 ounce burger too big. Chili fries was excellent.

Burger was good. Was told jalapenos were fresh but they were pickled. Never got our fries or onion rings. Sat by the passthrough window and heard waitress didnt put it in. By the time we were told they had to drop a fresh batch we were done with our burgers. Would give them another chance but not sure when.

The service was poor and the food was okay but not great. They have TONS of choices so maybe I just went on a bad day.

The food is great and so is the service. But the best part is they fixed the lighting. The pink is merely an accent now. Thank goodness.

This was the worst burger I’ve had in recent memory, probably at least 5+ years. I would not recommend except to my enemies. I was so excited to go to this Cheeburger Cheeburger because I had one in my hometown growing up and I remember loving the milkshakes. I made my husband come with me for lunch. We arrived just after 1pm and the place was a literal disaster. Tables were«cleaned» and by that I mean someone attempted to clean but did a really poor job. For example there were dumped fries on the floor but they only swept up half of them, the ones that were in the path of servers walking. I also saw someone use a rag to clean a particularly dirty table(ketchup and milkshake spills) and proceed to use the same, now very dirty rag to «clean» 5 more tables. The menus were also sticky and gross. I ordered a burger with guacamole among some other toppings. Not only did it take FOREVER for my burger to come out(I get it, «not fast food», but really? We were the only people ordering at that moment) but it was way overcooked. We both asked for medium and received very, very well done burgers. My guacamole was disgusting to the point where I felt it tasted rancid and after one or two bites began scraping off the«guac» from my burger. The onion rings I got on the side were actually okay — they tasted like they were tempura battered, so light and crunchy. We did order milkshakes at happy hour, which started at 2pm, so they were half-price. The half size milkshakes are plenty large for one person. I got a Reeses Pieces milkshake and it was pretty good — just like I remembered. The only saving grace for the meal. Come here for the milkshake but don’t order anything else… it was gross.

Best retro/fifties style diner I’ve been to. Excellent hamburgers. Is also very close to the movie theater.

Sorry but this place doesnt cut it! I also was sucked into the hype of this restaurant assuming it was mind blowing and shakes were above average. When i recieved my food the fries were cold and the burger was sloppy. I asked for additional items to be put on my semi-serious burger it was not on there plus i asked for my burger to be WELLDONE, my burger was still pink on the edges which im not a fan in un cooked meat even if it is good to some as medium rare to each its own. I also ordered a birthday cake milkshake and it was flavorless the sprinkles had no taste either and the shake was flavorless too. Def disappointed and would like to know if theres a different staff in the day vs night. Im highly disappointed and would never be going bk to this place!

Our favorite part was the kids meals coming in a car. The onion rings were very good. I like my burger a little more flavorful but they do have so many toppings to choose from if you are up for experimenting. Bonus points for the milkshakes. They were very good! So… What they are known for was not my favorite but everything else made up for it. Kids loved the 50s diner setting too.

We were driving though on a vacation trip so we stopped to use the restroom and grab a bite to eat. The bathrooms were clean by Alabama standards, needed to be cleaned by Missouri standards. The rest of the restaurant was clean and well organized. You can get a burger with almost any topping you want on it here. Delicious food! I recommend stopping in and getting a burger and fries at this place.

Nasty, Nasty… Great menu, but the food doesn’t come close to the hype… Ate at the Enterprise restaurant several times and EVERY time, it was a disaster… Finally gave in on a trip to Dothan and decided to give THIS one a chance… Sorry, just can’t make it work for me… Lighting is bad, bathrooms dirty, tables dirty, and even the dishes were dirty… Service was slow, servers didn’t seem to care… Food was mediocre at best, The food was cold(cool) except for the onion rings. No more, no more, no more…

Lunch at Cheeburger Cheeburger was a pleasure. This is a canned concept, you choose your burger size, cheese, condiments, cooking level & sides. So, it is a custom burger deal. There are plenty of non burger offerings too… I liked that the fries and onion rings are made fresh. Bunches of options for shakes too. The burgers themselves are just ok… not too special. Points for fun setting… Not bad at all!

It was very good our first visit. The three visits since have been terrible. We have waited 30 – 45 minutes for our food. When our food arrived, it was cold. I do not plan on going back. Five Guys is so much better.

First of all, my dad and I showed up here 15 minutes before closing. Restaurant was empty, they were sweeping up and you could tell that they were ready to close. I poked my head in the door and asked if they were still serving and the girl behind the counter gives me a huge smile and says yes, come on in. I had never been here before but, any restaurant that offers you the option of piling up to 20 different toppings onto your burger… ATNOEXTRACHARGE… is definitely tops in my book. Good burger, great selection of toppings, friendly and quick service. Definitely a great place to eat. My one complaint would be that they used a syrup in my blackberry shake, no actual blackberries. It was still good… just not quite the same though. I would definitely come back though!

This place is so good! Every time I’m hungry and thinking about trying somewhere new I always just end up coming here. It’s usually pretty busy because they are located right next to the movie theater, but I don’t think I’ve had a wait longer than 15 minutes or so. They have really good burgers and milkshakes and the best part is that you get to create them yourself from a ridiculous list of options! The staff is so friendly and the owner is there every time I go in. I also love the 50s diner décor. My only suggestion is that a fried egg should be added as an option on the burger topping menu. My favorite burger ever is a sunrise burger(cheese, fried egg, bacon, lettuce, onion, mayo, and sometimes peanut butter, but that’s optional). My current favorite is provolone, teriyaki sauce, pineapple, bacon, lettuce, onion and mayo with a white chocolate raspberry shake. And onion rings!

Love it! No antibiotics hormones or additives. Lots of food. Good meat. I never feel bad after I eat a burger from cheeburger cheeburger. Great service. But they do stay very busy. May take a while to get seated. A small fry is huge. You can save money by halving a dilerous burger and a sm fry with someone. Love it!!!

We’ve eaten here a few times and the food is okay. Unfortunately, the wait staff is very young, inexperienced, indifferent, and severly understaffed. It’s not unusual to wait 15 minutes for a menu and an additional 45 minutes for your food. After waiting 20 minutes for a menu and our drink order we actually got up and left on our last(and final) visit!
