—[Edit to below]. After coming here about 5 – 6 times, their pizza has declined for one simple reason– no sauce. I ordered a specialty pizza the other day, which said it had their own house made sauce-and to my dismay NOSAUCE. I sent it back(and i NEVER do that), but I did and then ordered a simple pepperoni pizza with extra red sauce. There might have been a drop of sauce somewhere on it, but I couldn’t find it. Also as they have reduced their sauce, they have also increased their amount of cheese. So when you bite into the pie, what you get is a greasy cheese and dough taste, with no sauce to marriage the two. I went away disappointed, because I love their atmosphere and their manager is really into his business. — Finally, a good slice of pizza in Dothan. I guess this is the #2 opening of this newer franchise. We opened the doors to a smile and warm atmosphere and a 45 minute wait. We opted for the bar and were seated within minutes. It looked like they could add about three more tables in the joint, but at the same time this creates less noise and faster service. The bar tender was nice and got us our beers fast. I ordered the Due Pizza, which has carmalized onions, italian sausage, and something else. It came about 20 minutes later(All their pies are 12″ diameter)… so if you’re hungry, I recommend ordering 1 pie per person. The pizza came hot out of their 800 degree oven. The crust was pretty crispy and warm and chewy in the middle. They make their pies very thin, so the abundance of toppings really makes the pizza droop over. Their sauce tasted good. Toppings were tasty. Good list of toppings too. They offer gourmet toppings for a fair price. Good wine selection. Nice friendly service. I noticed the salads are huge and serve at least two people. Next time I’ll order one. My friend ordered a flank steak on foccacia sandwich. He was pretty impressed. We both left full and happy. Will definintely come back for seconds. I used to run a gourmet pizza place in Virginia, so I was pretty impressed with what JOMOMA’s has going here. Definitely on top for this small town.
