New ownership and less than mediocre quality. Lousy newwaitstaff that don’t have a clue. A shame.

Came here because the hotel we were staying at offered a free breakfast coupon for meat, eggs, toast and potatoes or $ 7 off a different breakfast meal. We waited 45 minutes with no update for our food. It was ok but not worth the wait. I immediately asked for our bill when the food came and had to go inside by the time we were finished eating because we still had not received our bill. By then I realized they did not apply the coupon toward the meat, eggs, toast and potatoes the way it was spelled out on the coupon, but instead charged us for the full amount then subtracted the $ 7, so we had to pay more out of pocket then necessary. This was my fault for not fighting it, but at that point, almost an hour and 15 minutes in, I just wanted to leave. Would gladly pay better service somewhere else.

The food here is so AWESOME. A little bit of something for everyone and the best coffee in town. This place is very family friendly and the service staff is not only efficient and capable but FUN! Try the omelets… They are not those flat flimsy guys you see at other diners but big, fluffy, and packed full of awesomeness!

By staying that the Blue Star Motel next door we received some restaurant vouchers. I don’t believe I would have just randomly walked next door for breakfast during my two night stay. Im so glad that we were able to get the vouchers for breakfast twice. Super Cute local diner, you can tell the waitresses work very hard to make sure that the coffee is available and hot. They had the cutest boom box playing a cd of oldies. The food was good, It was a close walk and very convenient location for anyone staying at the Blue Star Motel. I need to recommend the Blueberry Pancakes! OMG seriously the best I think I have ever had, most be a secret recipe! Blown away with how good these were.

We stayed at the Blue Star Motel, so had vouchers for free breakfast here. Glad we did, otherwise we probably would not have found this hidden jem. Small local diner with great food and service.

Stopped for breakfast. Enjoyed Judy’s smile. The food is reliable — genuine diner fare. Quiche for my wife and pancakes for me. All served hot and quick. Love this place!

Loved this little place! Felt a little like having breakfast in your grandmother’s kitchen. The food was fresh and tasty. Portion sizes were great. Service was really friendly. It’s a quaint, small-town experience. Definitely recommend!

This is a pretty good! I had an omelet that was delicious and my wife had a stack of blueberry pancakes that she really enjoyed. The menu is exciting, with lots of interesting Greek options. Our server was great. There was nothing phenomenal about this place but hey – its a diner!

I’m a local Saugatuckian and here’s my story about M & M’s. Their food is good, affordable and the place is mostly clean. What ever you do, don’t piss-off the cook!!! I’m picky about my sunny-side-up or over-easy eggs… «if the yolks are over-cooked or broken, I’ll send them back», I told the waitress Judy, as I do everywhere, each time I order my eggs. I received them perfectly cooked… Yummy! But then the next time I came in, after my breakfast was served and I was already eating, the cook Mitch, who is also the owner, came flying out of the kitchen yelling at me for again saying, «if the yolks are over-cooked or broken, I’ll send them back». He got into my face and yelled… «Your the one!», «enjoy your last breakfast here and don’t come back!!!» then he quickly stormed back into the kitchen. WOW! It took a few seconds to realize what had just happened. The place was busy for being off season and everyone couldn’t help but hear since the place is so small and they all looked surprised by him… I was shocked to say the least. My guest and I promptly got up and walked out without finishing our breakfast. I haven’t been back since and I wouldn’t want anyone to have such an awful experience. If you decide to take a chance, just remember… «Don’t piss-off the cook!»

This is the perfect go-to dinner for breakfast, lunch and ice cream! It’s such an unassuming little joint, you can almost miss it. Fantastic prices and the sweetest staff. We take an annual vaca to the area and this is in our short list of ‘must go’ places when we’re in town!

Stopped by for Corndogs and were happy that we did. The service is quite slow, so be prepared to wait. They have lots of desserts & dinner choices.

Went here for breakfast mid April. Judy was our server, very nice! I had the veggie omlet with Marcie toast. The omlet was fluffy and big, toast was amazing! We also got the cinnamon bread french toast, very tasty. Definitely recommend eating at this family owned and operated establishment :)

Stopped because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Super clean 50’s diner. Waitress was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We were there for breakfast, omelets were generous. Can’t wait to go back for the BLT.

Stopped for lunch and had a great lunch. My sis had the club sandwich and it was fabulous. We each had a bite of her sandwich. Hubby had the spanakopita and it was very good, but he decided my sis sandwich was so good her ordered a Blt and it was very good as well. I had a burger on the Marcie bread and it was very good as well. We will definitely be back soon(but not during tourist season).

Nice little place — wish the experience was better. Went for bkfast and while food was okay, the service was terrible. No problem with waiting in a tourist area on a busy morning, but had to repeatedly ask for basics(e.g., silverware). The food came out on the cool side and by the time we got silverware(after asking 3 times and the waitress asking if something was wrong as we weren’t eating yet), it was cold. Chased down my own condiments from other tables, and other customers were getting their own coffee.

Breakfast for Dinner. Greek egg white omlete with feta cheese, onions and mushrooms. Just finished my small Greek salad which was crisp and full of garbanzo beans and beets. So yummy. This is our favorite place. Extra clean and food cooked to order. Love the jordanian ‘Marcie’ bread grilled. Got an I cream on the way out. Superman

Yummy breakfast. The cinnamon swirl french toast was excellent. Group of six, got in fast, got our food fast and very reasonable prices. Had a horrible experience across the street so we got there hungry and miffed. The server was great and the food great and managed to turn our morning around.
