Yaay! Once or twice a year we meet with family in Douglas and we finally found a favorite spot for lunch. It is nice and clean. Everybody is very friendly. Service is good. Nice restrooms are a must(we spend the whole day on the road)… And did I mention the food is great? We tried a few different places in the past, and I have to admit we even went to a few franchises too, as we were running out of options. Then one day we found ‘Amigo’s’. I think it was mid or late 2011… we had steaks and they were good, but what we thought were really awesome were the wings. Then we went back in a few months and I think we had sandwiches. I believe it was until the summer 2012 we found out it had a new name, Mighty’s Sports Grill. Not sure if it is the same management, but the wings are still really good. Parmesan and lemon pepper, yummy! Also the ones that are to be very hot… ‘smolten’ or something like that, I think they are hot, sometimes we go to other places and are disappointed but this ones are good. And lastly, they had this parrillada with chicken, beef and shrimp, it comes with a salad, queso fresco, guacamole, pico de gallo and cebollitas with chile toreado. It is very good and it is always enough for our big group to share, along with a big order of wings and a side like sweet potato fries or something like that. I really hope this place stays in business because it took us a while to find a good spot for lunch in this town. Best of luck!
