I have my own business, so pay day for me is all over the board for the most part. An unexpected expense put me in a temporary crunch, so I sucked up my pride and got some jewelry and headed for the pawn shop.
I was embarrassed to be in that position. But I gotta tell you: These are the nicest bunch of folks you’ll ever meet, and they treated me like a friend… A FRIEND!
I know, I know, they are a serious business, but I really appreciated that a «low point» for me totally dissipated with their friendly service. And every person behind the counter was that way. Even down to the cute little doggie that had come to work with the lady who was helping me.
Double Eagle is on my favorites list now…
