Have mercy; for this hotel has awakened my inner Holy Ghost! Now when I say it was a long day you will not be live how long this day was! 1 Nice thing about the day was to finally check in to a hotel after driving for 9 hours and sitting around. By sitting around I mean I slid off of the road and into the snow waiting for a tow truck to pull me out!!! I pulled on up to this most glorious place beaming lights all around like a Christmas tree in the galleria mall in Houston. Back to what I was saying; I don’t know if I was tired or what but but I jumped on the bed and it devoured me. Those blankets wrapped me up like a burrito and my head sunk into the pillows like a hot spoon pressing on a marshmallow. Don’t hate because you didn’t get the room I got, yet again Holiday Winn never fails to amaze me!!! Keep it up people of the Holiday WINNer Nation! BOO-YAH!!!

Stayed here over the weekend for business trip. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Immediate hot water available for shower with good water pressure. Plenty of parking with well lit areas at night. Good hot breakfast. Most of all, very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.

I stay at a lot of IHG properties. This isn’t the worst but doesn’t live up to the reviews. The staff were really nice but took forever to do anything. There were signs saying renovation in progress but the only signs of renovation were the signs themselves. The lights and rooms were gloomy and the shower drain didn’t work which is pretty gross. The bed was super comfortable as I had been driving for about 9 hours… If you can make it an extra 30 minutes I would stay in ATL and by pass this property but if your about to pass out from exhaustion def stay here because it’s better than having a wreck and ending up in the hospital.

On a recent business trip to nearby Carrollton, Georgia my wife and I opted to stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Douglasville based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews we had seen… I have to say, having spent two nights here those recommendations should not be nearly so glowing. Upon checking in we were shocked at the language and topic of conversation coming out of the night-manager while talking obnoxiously to her workers during our check-in. By no means do I have virgin ears but I do not expect the service staff much less one in a managerial position to be using such… colorful language in front of guests, nor do I need to know quite so much about her personal or romantic interests. I found this behaviors and language unacceptable in a three star hotel. Working in a hotel you are there to serve the guests not hold loud, questionable conversations with your co-workers… That aside, the exterior of the hotel is very nice, well landscaped and well maintained. Parking was ample and conveniently available. The lobby was equally well appointed and maintained with a nice sitting and breakfast common area. The elevators are slow, good luck traversing the five floors on a busier day/evening. The room was decently appointed and the bed comfortable albeit a tad too firm for even my liking but not bad either. The pillows were lacking… With a king sized bed of that size, four little undersized pillows just don’t cut it. The linens and comforter were all clean and well placed. The room was overall very clean and well maintained though the bathroom’s fit and finish left something to be desired. The grout for the bathroom floor tiles could use a cleaning and the haphazard paint job around the fiberglass bath enclosure certainly left something to be desired… It was all very clean though and there were plenty of towels. The pool was disappointingly covered for the Fall/Winter which was surprising given the warm temperatures we still have in both Florida and Georgia during the month of October. Additionally the pool area sort of felt like an after-though wedged on a concrete island in the middle of the north parking area looking out down the hill to the Sam’s Club below. All things considered a clean hotel, decently appointed but in need of better quality craftsmanship and training for it’s service staff.

This is, quite possibly, one of the best Holiday Inn Express hotels we’ve ever stayed in — and we stay in quite a few of them every year. The Douglasville location is very clean and up-to-date with a friendly staff, a free, hot breakfast complete with the«Xerox» pancake machine. The rooms, also, are very clean and outfitted with great amenities. We truly enjoyed our stay here. AND, they’re conveniently located RIGHT next to a Wal-Mart, a Sam’s Club, a great BBQ place and a tire service center(which we unfortunately needed). So, it all worked out well! Prices are very good so, if we ever happen to come this way again, I’m putting this hotel at the top of our«must stay» locations.

This is a very clean and new hotel. Great rooms, and nice TV’s. The hotel staff was very nice and remembered first and last names of the entire crew who was staying with my company. Breakfast was always hot, and on time. You’ve got a Hooters, CrackerBarrel, Walmart and a convenience store within walking distance. This is a great hotel w/a great staff!
