Red Lobster

Even though the food was good, service could have been upscaled a bit. Long wait for meal. It was worth the wait however. I would have liked to have seen a little more urgency from the waitress.

Yesterday from this date we went to lobster in Dover with high hopes, all was great until the meal arrived, she got salmon, i got dual lob tails.
Her salmon was covered with something that was very very salty and kinda dry, eatable but expected better.
Lobster did not taste like lobster should have, kinda tasted frozen or freezer burnt? could not believe this from this restaurant chain, and still cost over 50 bucks for our 2 meals, all else our waitress, atmosphere was up to par, but this trip was the worst, i /​we had ever, and this was not our first visit, just our first visit in a while.

So me, one of our daughters and hubby just left here. We only got appetizers. The sweet chili shrimp were really great and spicy. Coconut shrimp were great and stuffed mushrooms were just ok I thought. We are headed to Buffalo Wild Wings for wings and beer. My daughter isn’t huge on seafood and we we given a certificate so that’s why we are doing the switch. Strange. I knowalso the waitress was a sweetheart

Tasty food! Great variety! Wait staff was prompt and accommodating. Peaceful atmosphere.

Our server was Gregory, and on New Years Eve we went and he was very pleasant and provided amazing service. Our drinks were constantly full! Loved him!

Red lobster has had good quality food this location is no exception. I have been too this location several times and the food is normally what is expected however service at this location tends to be hit or miss. Having a disabled person in my party is a challenge here since the parking lot is a goo distance to the entrance.

All I have to say is. why send out hot king crab legs with no melted butter. So you wait for it and then the crab it’s cold… smh. the coconut shrimp was good… spiced rum house rum… not for us

I like the market fish at red lobster. It is almost always well prepared. The Dover restaurant is usually a good location

We went to Red Lobster yesterday with a group of aprox 50 (called the day before to reserve the back room) after a funeral. Our reservation was for 4 but we arrived shortly after 3 due to the funeral ending shorter than expected. The back room was empty but they refused to let us use the space until a few minutes after 4, so yes, 50 people crowded in their lobby for over an hour, many are very elderly people. During the wait we ordered mozzarella sticks for the kids, they took over 30 minutes.
Despite them having over 24hrs notice they were very disorganized. Service was extremely slow, some servers were nice and some seemed visibly annoyed. It was 5:30 before people got and ate their salads. The children were the absolute last table served dinner, well after 6:30 and after many adults were already done. No idea what happened here but Red Lobster dropped the ball BIG TIME.
Edited to add: Many people have reported getting sick since last night.

We were told our wait would be 45 mins but I had a RL surfNturf craving so decided to wait. They called us in under 10 mins. Nice.
Taylor our waitress told us they upgrade their menus. As expected, the prices went up as well, just a bit. That’s okay because the food and drinks were delicious!
Maybe out of NY cooks differently? Don’t know but everything was fresh and tasty. Even the butter for the lobster tails had a certain upmh to it.
Taylor was a chirpy delight and gained extra points for carding me because they MUST card anyone under 30! Boom! AND for recognizing my Trini accent (okay okay she said her co-​worker is from T&T as well). She was handsomely rewarded. We love to encourage (especially young) people to keep up their excellent service.

Delicious meal and a fantastic waitress. We had a group of twelve and the waitress was really fantastic. She managed all of our orders and the meals were derived quickly and hot. If you’re in the mood for delicious seafood served with a smile, this is your place.

Let’s get one fact out of the way: this is a chain restaurant. Don’t go in here with high expectations or you will sorely disappointed. That being said…
I went here with my family to celebrate my mom’s birthday on Sunday (⁰⁷⁄₂₇) and we were seated fairly quickly (although the hostess seemed a little annoyed at one of the waiters for not giving her enough menus to prepare for us). Our server, Darrell, was pleasant, courteous, and gave us plenty of time to finish our meals. I was tempted to order a full-​on dinner portion, but since we had arrived so early in the day (it was not quite 1:30), I decided to order one of their lunch specials, which was jumbo lump crab cakes. For my sides, I ordered green beans and broccoli, both of which came steamed. I will say that the beans and broccoli were steamed just right, retaining their green color while still being soft enough to chew and digest easily. The crab cakes were good, although I was slightly bummed that I only got two. The dipping sauce that came with it was also very good (Sriacha mixed with olive oil).
For the most part, my family enjoyed their meals, although my mom wasn’t very happy with the consistency of her green beans (she prefers her steamed veggies mushy). But I have to say this was a good experience overall, and I’d come here again if given the chance.

Been going here since they opened. Staff is friendly, no issues with service and the prices are reasonable.

I live not too far from here and I’ve gone here twice in the last four years and I will never go again. This is the worst restaurant I think I’ve ever been in. My friend that I went with got sick later on the same night and I’m blaming the food. The service was mediocre, we waited a long time for our meals then mine came and my friend was still waiting. Do yourself a favor and don’t go to this Red Lobster.

Absolutely awful, horrible service. From over cooked lobster to downright hostile service. Don’t bother.

I can’t say much when it comes to chain or franchise restaurants. They are either that from good to really bad. Why I go to RL? If it were for the coupons, advertisements, promotions that were given away, we won’t be going to any of the chain restaurants and rather go to small businesses for their home cooking. In a nutshell, RL satisfies my curiosity to enticing deals, but not about all RL’s food.

I went on a date with my boyfriend at the red lobster i never went to before. We got in around 9:10, since it was going to close soon it wasnt busy but we did have to wait 15 mins to get a table. I was a little lost because it was just the two of us and no one was really there. More people came in after us, but anyways. Our waitress, Virginia was very pleasant and was not overbearing which is a godsend if you ask me. We started with the wings which could have been good, but they made that weird mistake that parts of the wings were really hard, but we still ate them. Next my caesar salad came and it was pretty good but i really don’t like the white part of the romaine. It just doesn’t taste good, maybe its just a weird preference of mine. We split the lobster lovers dream and a ½ lb of crab legs. The lobster tails were very good, i liked the smaller one a little better though. The pasta that came with it is just like the crab alfredo pasta. It was tasty but nothing new. He chose the fries for a side and they were okay i guess. I would have need a lot of honey mustard sauce to finish those. We were both pissed about the crab legs. 6 legs for 17 bucks is not okay with me. Tasty, yes, but i won’t make that choice again. We would have to get another appetizer to go with the lobster fest plate. Red lobster isn’t my favorite place, but i do enjoy the lobster.

We’ve visited twice and the service is beyond bad. We waited for a table for 20 minutes when the whole restaurant was empty. Literally. There might have been 10 occupied tables. Waited another 20 to even see our server and another 20 to get drinks. We should have left right then… The service did not improve through the meal.
Food was average RL food.
