OK so I have to update my rating. Since coming here from the very beginning I have met the owner and he was very nice. There is an older lady who is always there and she is also very nice but last weekend I went here and was appalled by the way I was treated by Renee, a sales associate. She was so rude! Beyond unfriendly and was confrontational. She had the nerve to ask me if I had a problem and when I said she was kind of rude she said I feel the same of you! I was so upset and went to complain to the older lady. She was very sweet and apologetic and said she would speak to her. Speaking will not suffice, Renee should be fired immediately! Luckily, there was another customer there who confirmed that this person was completely rude and has no business working in retail. I am warning anyone that if you go and this person is there, walk out she is scary mean! I know I will go here again because they have absolutely the most beautiful furniture, pictures and home furnishings but this woman scared the **** out of me and if I see her working I am running for my car!

I agree with Patty S. on most of the review. It’s nice to have a consignment shop in town that is clean and has nice items. The owner does have standards on what she will take in, which is good for buyers. I have brought in items for consignment and thought it was a little wierd that I didn’t get a print out of the items at the time. But when I went back a month later, I was able to obtain that list, which also showed what items had already sold. The store has nice displays– furniture layed out in vignettes of «like» items, so you don’t have to hunt through a pile of stuff to find what you’re looking for. Clothing is racked and labeled nicely. She even has the designer stuff separated. There is a fabulous selection of Prom gowns there now(Feb. ’15). Good quality stuff for a fraction of the price you’d pay for new. It’s only one night– why blow a fortune on the dress? Check them out– you’ll be glad you did.

As sad as I was that my gym that occupied this shape had closed, this place seemed nice. It was very clean and the space was nicely laid out so you could examine the items(particularly large furniture) closely. I did feel some prices for the furniture were high– like the wicker. But it was set by reasonable prices on the couches etc.

Embrace Consignment recently opened and I finally checked it out this past weekend. First impressions: *Clean *A ton of merchandise *Quality merchandise *Reasonable prices As I pursued the store, I looked through racks of clothing(enough to keep me interested, but not overwhelming that it was too much to look through). They sell men’s, women’s, juniors, and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories. They also have a large space that holds housewares, furniture and artwork. The couple that owns the business is friendly and one can really see the passion they have for what they do. When I was shopping, a woman came in to bring some things for consignment. You do not need an appointment to bring your items here. Just gather some of your clean items that you are ready for someone else to enjoy and bring them in. After reading their information handout while at checkout, they offer a 50⁄50 split on the items you bring to them… not bad! If you haven’t had an opportunity to make it here, I highly suggest you check it out.
