The four stars are for the tortas only. I truly have not tried the fruit :(The tortas are amazing. I have tried there turkey and it is made with so much love. The bread is sweet and soft. And I am not sure what kind of cheese they use but it makes the torta perfect. Only $ 5 and it is the size of a true torta.

I love love love this place! Not for the bionicos, because honestly I can get that made anywhere. But i do come here for the Diablitos drink. It is a chili with mango drink and is quite refreshing. I haven’t had anything else here but everything looks pretty good they have everything from bionicos to tortas.

Since I’ve been frequenting Marisa’s a lot lately(awesome fish tacos), I happened to notice this spot a block or two before. What caught my attention was the fact that they had bionicos advertised on the front window(If you’re not sure what a bionico is, check out my review of Ana’s Bionico’s). Anyway, so I went here solely to try out their bionico and I have to say that I was satisfied with it. They had two sizes, medium($ 5) and a large($ 10), I went with the medium which was more than enough. The bionico came with the usual fruit pieces(strawberries, banana, cantaloupe, apples, granola, coconut, and raisins topped with crème or yogurt). The quality of the fruit was great and the yogurt wasn’t too sweet, which is totally a good thing in my book. They had a bunch of other things on the menu ranging from salads to sandwiches and a bunch of different fruit assortments, hence«Thirsty’s Fruit Palace». Between this place and Ana’s Bionico’s, I’d probably go here instead just because it seemed cleaner and the crème on my bionico wasn’t overly sweet… I’ll be coming back here to try out the other items. Side note-Have cash because they charge .75 extra for credit card use.
