I was very disappointed in the service I recieved from the young woman behind the counter on the evening of 2÷7÷16. She was very rude. Every time I tried to order something on the menu for my daughter and myself, and these were popular basic items you can get without issue from any other Chinese restaurant, she rudely informed me that either out of the item or they would take a long time to make it. She then went on to explain how things are premade, etc., which I have never found it to be an issue at any other restaurant I’ve ever been to in my entire life, and if one of those restaurants did run out of something, they’d apologize and actually treat me like a human being instead of something on the bottom of their shoe. I have been in customer service for over 20 years myself, and if I would have treated any of my customers nearly as poorly, I would have least gotten reprimanded for it if not fired. My daughter was extremely nice to this woman and she(the woman) couldn’t even muster a smile. I guess it would have hurt the muscles in her face to do so. Regardless, we won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. At least the«Soup Nazi» from Seinfeld made soup that was so good that his customers didn’t mind enduring his sour attitude. Best China Garden’s food was mediocre at best.

We discovered Best China Garden a number of years ago and have not gotten Chinese food anywhere else. While there are a few tables for dining, it is really a takeout restaurant. The food is always extremely fresh. My goal is to try everything on the menu. As I’m well along working my way through it, i have not found a back dish. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My middle granddaughter loves General Tso’s without hot spices. No problem here. I recommend trying any and all dishes.

Best take-out Chinese in the area. Call ahead and then pick up as they can get pretty busy.

This place has good take out and they’re always packed, which is a good sign. The General Tso’s is really good, and that’s always a good marker. The Kung Pao shrimp is good, but lots of celery. The pork lo mein is also very good.

I think most of the reviews that have already been written proved to be pretty accurate. This is your basic Chinese Restaurant, with good(not great) food and very nice people working there. You would NEVER know this was worth trying by the looks of the place. I had my usual: General Tso’s Chicken, cold sesame noodles and dumplings. My son had Shrimp Lo Mein. And we each got a spring roll. The General was very good. Huge portion and everything I need from the General. Not too spicy but just enough to let you know he’s there. The sesame noodles were OK. They were not cold and they were a bit too gloopy for my taste, but still acceptable. The shrimp lo mein was delicious, according to my son. The spring rolls were fine… I’ve had the exact same ones at 100 other restaurants just like it. Flaky, tasty and just the right size. The only thing that was disappointing(to me) were the dumplings, which were the«doughy» variety, which I don’t much care for. But my son liked them and if you like this type you will probably like them too. The price is definitely right and the location(for me) couldn’t be better. Overall, this is an perfectly acceptable local Chinese Restaurant, especially for take out. I wish they delivered. Next time I will go for the steamed dumplings instead. I would have given it 3.5 stars if possible, so I rounded up to 4 because they were very nice people over there.

Food is standard and the service is rude. No flexibility in special requests so don’t bother asking. Chin’s is so much nicer and the food quality is better.

Pretty good, as opposed to others in the area. When we used to get a craving for Chinese food we used to go to the China Buffets in the area, but it’s honestly not worth it. So much better to have this just a few minutes down the road. Shrimp Lo Mein is amazing. Total carb load, but so dang tasty and the perfect amount of flavor and spice. YUM!

If you want the best Chinese food take out look no further! The food is fresh and delicious. They give you brown rice if you want it too! They are so kind and friendly and believe me I drive them crazy with my choices… Brown rice, steamed not fried please, not too spicy !! I would hate me as a customer, but they never say no and it is never a problem. Don’t let the ambience sway you. It’s not a place to take the family to eat, it’s more about take out. Go you will be happy you did. I love the garlic sauce yummy.

Perfect location: right by the movie theater!* All the classic Chinese-American flavors are available, the staff are extremely friendly, and the prices are just right. This is my go-to Chinese take-out restaurant from now on. * Please note: It is a violation of movie theater policy to smuggle delicious Chinese take-out into the cinema.

After Chongs left Dtwon in the early 80’s and then Hong Kong Jacks in the late 2000’s… I started to check out Best China takeout every so often and it is one of the best. Last night had shrimp egg foo young, brown rice and wonton soup– split between two of us, it was not only a great value, it was beyond perfection. Even on a previous but recent visit, when they ran out of brown rice on a busy Saturday night… the staff(looks like a nice family operation) went over-board to make more and comp me on some soup. It doesn’t get much better than that. Highly suggest you try them.

I almost walked away when I saw PICTURES of the food on the menu board as you walk into the restaurant.(You can even see these pictures from the parking lot!) This is always worrisome to me. I don’t get why Chinese restaurants do this?! To me it is classless. But… what the heck… today, it worked for a quick take-out. This restaurant has a few tables but it is not anything special for a dining experience… just a convenient quick meal or take out. The girl who took my order was as sweet as could be and from that alone I was happy to have given this place a try! she greeted me with a warm & friendly hello & smile… and wanting to please! Prices were in line with other Chinese restaurants… typical combo meals & the same menu as any other as well. .okay on to the food as it is most important… right? I opted for the Generals Chicken combo meal and the pepper steak & onion combo meal. It was a generous portion…(thank you fellow Unilocaler for steering me to the combo as it is the way to go as you mentioned)…it was okay… far from the best… but everything was fresh, pretty much all white meat in the Generals chicken, and Hubby said beef was very tender. Egg rolls okay… but not memorable. Not sure I would go out of my way to dine here but it does work if it is convenient!

Whoo hoo, I have been saved from the HORRIBLE Hong Kong Jacks!!! Better food, and cheaper! As others have been saying, the Lo Mein dishes are very good. We always get some kind of noodle dish, and the standard pork fried rice and some egg roles. They are always friendly, food is fresh and yummy, and you leave with piles of food for not a ton of money. As previously mentioned, not really setup for eat in, so make sure your aware it’s better for grab and go!

Had soup, fried dumplings, cold sesame noodles, and the combo Sichuan chicken platter. The chicken was not spicy at all. Sesame noodles were good and the sauce was mixed with the noodles. Fried dumplings were good, though need more ginger in the filling. Soup was basic. Its on par with other chinese food in Bucks County, but that is not saying much.

Nice little take out joint, very convenient in d-town, fast and very tasty. What else do you need in a Chinese restaurant for take out? This place is my default Chinese stop, has been and will be as long as its here. Combo platters are the way to go, lots of food for very reasonable price. Pretty much everything on the menu I have had is legit.

This place used to be called Zai Fa and was mediocre then and is a touch better(In my opinion) now. We ordered about $ 100 worth of food which easily fed our crowd of 10 adults and 2 little kids. Fried Dumplings were better than the steamed — average and a bit«doughy». Eggrolls and Shrimp Egg rolls were crisp, contained actual shrimp and lots of shredded cabbage. Spare ribs were meaty and EXCELLENT.(Even better than Hong Kong Jack’s which is our family’s go-to for D-town old-school Chinese). House special fried rice was just OK — Hong Kong Jack’s is better. Chicken with Broccoli was ordered«light on the sauce» and thus was not nearly as greasy as it could have been. They use brown sauce for their Chix ‘n Brox. My husband and Brother-in-law like hot food and enjoyed the General Tso’s Chicken(looked very nice — text book Tso!) and Mongolian Beef. Combo platters are a good value and while they are heavy on the fried rice — there is a hefty portion of the entrée(in our case Kung Pao Chicken) in there, too. Very good egg drop, wonton and hot ‘n sour soups(all are text book 1975 recipe Chinese American). While not mind blowing — I can definitely see ordering Quart of Hot ‘n Sour or Wonton the mext time I have the flu. It is take out only(They might have 2 tiny tables out front) and be sure to grab your packets of duck, soy and mustard sauces on the way out.

Although it’s your typical Pennsylvania Chinese restaurant, Best China Garden is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the Doylestown area. I highly recommend their combination platters. The portions are more than enough, and I almost always have left overs! My personal favorite is their chicken lo mien, it’s delicious! I also should mention how friendly and accommodating the entire staff is. I always ask to sub my pork fried rice/egg roll for vegetable fried rice and a veggie spring roll, and they always make the change with for no additional cost. Another thing I really enjoy is their«help yourself» table of duck sauce, spicy mustard and soy sauce! There are 2 reasons I’m not giving 5 stars. First, I’m not too crazy for their wonton soup. Second, their fried chicken entrees are hard to chew sometimes.
