Closed for good without warning by the operator, working on a replacement. Trying to bulk up the word count so that Unilocal will post it. It still says it’s too short, let’s see if this helps to get it posted.

Not sure what the others were thinking entering this establishment. Its a friendlys! This was the cleanest friendlys I’ve ever seen. The service was print and the food was hot.

The food is good, but it takes forever and a day to be delivered to the table. Not great for a family restaurant. Kids have short attention spans.

Slow service, okay food, but it is still Friendly’s and as a California Visitor, I won’t give my annual Friendly’s visit even if this particular store is worse than any other I’ve been in. :(

This has changed hands so I don’t know how accurate this will be. My grandkids love this place and it is very family friendly. I hope the new management does it justice.

Please be careful when using coupons. This particular Friendlys is now owned by franchise and would not accept coupons unless the location on the coupon is specified. The restroom is dirty and the supervisor is not friendly at all.

It is what it is… A kid friendly, diner — like menu and ice cream parlor.

Friendly’s as a chain seems to have two major problems and they both cut to the core of what they do. 1. Their ice cream is not very good. I’ve tried their ice cream at several locations and the vanilla in particular is always(and I mean always) hard, chalky, and freezer burnt. It’s like dropping the F-Bomb in a Catholic School 40 years ago and then having a nun jam a piece of refrigerated chalk down your throat. 2. The service consistently sucks. They were really busy last night and although we had a bit of a wait to get seated our order was taken promptly and then the problems started. «S» started the old«server disappearing act» and she made sure we didn’t see our food until almost 40 minutes later. Then came the ice cream. So my one daughter ordered her ice cream and«S» very rudely interjected that they were out of what she ordered. Not expecting this my daughter went to look at the menu again when«S», with major attitude, informed us that«she would have to come back when we knew what we wanted because she was too busy to just stand here». To busy to stand there? She waited all of five seconds before walking away from the table and not returning for I don’t even remember how long. Eventually«S» graced us with her presence, when she was done servicing what seemed like every other table there that had a regular old biddy over 60 that she some how found the time to stop and talk with, and we got our frozen chalk finally well over an hour after we sat down. Needless to say«S» has a clue as to how she did based on her tip but people like her just don’t seem to get it that playing favorites screws her in the end financially. Obviously we will not be back to this location of likely to a Friendly’s ever again.

2 stars on a bad day — 3 on a good day? This one is way better than the FILTHY friendly’s down 611. Meanwhile, my 4 year old daughter simply MUST have the cone-head sundae, so my DH and I gave in and had lunch here. It wasn’t AWFUL — but it was very slow service and mediocre food that is really not good for you.(Fried chicken fingers & burgers.) Not a fan. Sorry.
