Great food, atmosphere, martinis AND service! Complimentary spicy popcorn with truffle oil was amazing!

I make sure I visit Honey if only as a refresher of what a truly great restaurant should be. The food is second to none in the area with mind blowing tasting plates, soups and desserts. The staff is 100% attentive and super friendly. The second you walk in the door they project knowledge and professionalism at all service points. The ambience is total comfort with each table somehow an island on its own. Immediately upon sitting you can feel the passion, love and creativity the entire staff have for their restaurant which translates beautifully into the food and the the overall experience as well. Go, eat, be happy.

I’ve been here twice — both times for a special occasion and the food and service was amazing! Jason was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. We had the halloumi, chips, ribs, sea shells, oxtail dumplings and wild mushroom quesadilla and everything was great! They also provided some complementary dishes in celebration of our special occasion which was a thoughtful touch.

We have been to Honey 3 times so far and have simply loved it each time. Our most recent visit was last night, a Saturday night. Our table was ready on time. The hostess and all servers were attentive, warm and friendly. The food is amazing. The chef puts together flavors in ways that are exciting and fun. We noticed that every table, at one point, had someone laughing. The sharing of small plates makes for an intimate experience. We can’t wait to go back again and again.

Believe the hype. Go here. If you like something very safe or predictable, don’t be afraid. The menu items might sound really weird at first, but try it. You won’t regret it.

Was looking forward to going to Honey based on the reviews and it was a mixed bag. First off, we we are no planning on going back. Many other options around that are better suited to us. Pros: Very nice and attentive staff. Food was mostly good. Cozy and warm. Cons: Very little food for the price. The cheese plate, which was excellent, was half the size that we felt we should have received for the price. Perhaps we chose poorly for our dishes, but we only really liked half of what we got. The other half was just okay. Not horrible, but not that amazing. We did enjoy our time there, but it was just not for us I think.

Honey, H– Had my anniversary dinner there. It was my first«tapas» style eating experience. The flavors were bold and the selections unique. O– On point. The food was on point. We ordered the shrimp martini, risotto cakes, mixed olive plate, B.E.L.T and a couple others. I enjoyed them all. N– New food for me to try! I never had pork belly until my experience here, It tasted like succulent bacon cubes. I am a fan, although I had pork belly once since eating here and it was not as good. E– Expensive, but you get what you pay for! Great flavor paired with lovely presentation. Y– You should give honey try! Its a great place to spend a special occasion.

Just lovely! Fabulous staff, delicate and rich food, small plates, cozy setting, I had wild boar, pasta and seafood, kales salad… yum! Ordered another dish that we weren’t crazy about, they took it back… in charge, apologized… Had a lovely Chardonnay… we hung out at the same table for four hours… treated like royalty. PS I’m very hard on restaurants, so…

It has been less than 24 hours since my boyfriend & I’s dinner at Honey for his birthday and I must have told 6 people about already. This was hands down one of the greatest restaurants I’ve been to and dining experiences I’ve ever had. I was looking for a new restaurant to take my boyfriend to for his birthday and was insisted by a friend to go to Honey rather than a downtown restaurant. I couldn’t be more thankful to my friend. We made reservations 2 days in advance, and when we showed up last night for our reservation, were seated immediately. Our incredible server, I believe his name was John or at least started with a «J»(I’m terrible with names), introduced himself, asked if we had ever been there before, and then explained the tapas style menu and dining. Shortly after ordering our drinks we were brought out complimentary cheese and black garlic dusted truffles along with truffle butter popcorn, for it being our first time there. The start of the delicious night we were in store for. We picked a number of different menu items, most of which I was reccomended to try by my friend, and it was brought out in the chef reccomended order. We started out with the truffle & smoke fondue potato chips, I could have eatten about 5 bowls of those things! Next we were brought out the B.e.L.T, which the best was to describe it is, a 48 hour smoked slab of delicious bacon topped with duck eggs, a deliciously fatty and bacon-y dish. Next was the wagyu oxtail dumplings, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, was also delicious and the mushrooms on top really pushed it way over the edge. Next came the one I was waiting for most, the foie gras sliders, our server told us all about the natural foie gras they used and how not a single filler was added for weight. They were amazing, and the small slivers of apples in them added for a surprising sweetness and crunch, plus foie gras is foie gras, you’d have to purposely try to ruin it. Finally came the staple of the menu, the black tea glazed short ribs with ginger ice cream, I must admit I am NOT a rib person, and more so ordered this dish on behalf of my boyfriend, though I ended up eating 3 of the 5 ribs. The reason I’m not a rib fan is because I don’t like holding them and getting messy, well that was not the case here. The second I moved the ribs to my plate from the serving plate, the meat literally fell off the bone & I was in heaven. Serving ice cream with meat isn’t something you’d expect, but after following a bite of ribs with a bite of ice cream you immediately realize the importance of the pairing, both flavor elements played off each other perfectly and again… was delicious. We ended the night with an order of the«burnt coffee», my god! If you normally like crème brûlée, and you also like chocolate and coffee, you’ll LOVE this. I couldn’t imagine a better way to perfectly end a perfect meal. Literally every bite of every dish was over the top. At the end of our meal and we received the bill, I paid in cash and didn’t need any change, so we left our money with the bill on the table and got up to leave. After we had walked out the door and left, our server chased us out just to say goodbye and to have a great night, the perfect cherry on top to show the type of quality of service Honey provides. Although its not a type of restaurant I can afford to go to as much as I’d like, which would be every day, I can definitely say we have found our new favorite special occasion/date night restaraunt.

I can’t describe in words how delicious Honey is. If this hasn’t taken the spot of my favorite restaurant in the world, it’s definitely second. Things we loved: 1. Plates are shareable, so you can try a lot of different things without breaking the bank or your belt 2. The waitstaff know their stuff, can recommend anything to suit your liking and they’re super nice 3. Drinks are specially curated by season, strong and tasty 4. Best of all, the FOOD. Mind blowing. Try the mushroom quesadilla and ribs for sure. You wont be disappointed.

Lived in Doylestown for 10 + years and this was the best place to eat. Great food, great service. Don’t over-order, we made that mistake and were full by the time our last dish arrived. It’s been a few years since I’ve eaten here, but I can still remember how awesome the potato chips were.

This restaurant is truly a great place to eat in the ‘burbs’. There are not that many really good places to eat in the suburbs. The menu is always fun, sophisticated, and has never disappointed. I love small plates, since this gives you a chance to try many selection. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I absolutely love this place. All small/tapas like vibe with their food, great cocktails, yes yes yaaas! Came here with a group of 4, we went big and ordered 12 plates(we erred on the side of ordering more than we needed, which I tend to do A LOT). The variety is great with plates starting lighter and making their way to heavier fare towards the bottom of the menu(olives and hummus options through ribs and brisket). Every one was great! Salmon tacos, risotto cakes, cheeses, olives, pork belly, shrimp martinis, friggin Foie Gras Slidaaas, and more! After foie gras sliders I shouldn’t need to say more(oh and they had duck bacon included on them also). Not one bad item came out to us. If I had one qualm it was that our waiter brought out a few of our dishes(myself and the boy) and not the other couple… so there were a few times when we would eat and not them. I get it, it’s when all the food should come out, but try to keep it even so we’re both eating at the same time! Drink menu was perfect, the dirty martini with the peppercorn vodka? Yes please. Good wine and beer selection as well. Absolutely come on in. Plan on droppin’ some bills, but whatever it’s worth it.

I went on a Saturday night and made reservations ahead of time. They get booked fast! Service was phenomenal! Food was amazing, and so flavorful! And dessert was TODIEFOR! The server knew so much about the menu and food in general! They were so generous to welcome us with a complimentary amuse bouche as soon as we sat down! Overall one of the best dining experiences of my life! Very romantic outside seating available!

WOW! We wanted a nice date night without driving an hour to the city, but with the same upscale«city feel» and Honey delivered it perfectly! We live about 10 – 12 minutes away, and it was great to take Über to/from Honey so we could enjoy it even more… it’s too expensive taking Über roundtrip to downtown Philly from this area! Things You MUST Know — All shared plates(«like tapas» as our waitress quoted). The waitress told us two people usually order 4 – 6 plates depending on the item and hunger factor. We ordered 6 meal plates plus 2 dessert plates. While some of the plates had expected portions, like the sliders, some of them felt on the small side to share, so plan to order a numerous variety! — Reservations in advance are a must! They only have 12 tables inside that book in advance. We called a few days before Friday night and they were already booked, but got lucky with a cancellation by calling the day of. They have 3 – 4 tables set out on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant that you can only reserve by calling the day of and leaving a message with your request. They will then call people back after 3pm(when they get in) to confirm outdoor seating in order of voice messages received. It’s not a true patio or anything, but if you want to sit outside, go for it. We preferred the fancy indoor ambiance, especially for the prices, to maximize the experience. — It’s definitely a $$$ restaurant so expect to splurge. I felt some of the items could have been larger for the price, but their website clearly describes them as a boutique restaurant with accurate sample menus available. Expect to pay for outstanding taste and experience, not portions. We paid anywhere from $ 12 to $ 23 per menu item. — Not a BYOB and not for picky wine drinkers. They have a great selection of fun cocktails and a small wine list for all types. They had two Cabernets listed, $ 38 and $ 60 per bottle, and we thoroughly enjoyed the higher bottle since it came from our favorite region, Napa! As others mentioned, the following items are incredible: sliders, fire and ice(king crab bites in a cocktail glass), ribs(literally fell off the bone), and risotto cakes. My other favorite was from a special add-on menu, chicken and grits! I could have eaten many plates of this item! We had the chocolate and cheesecake desserts that were perfect if you have a sugar craving, but only want a few bites! Our waitress was amazing as well. She let us know we could order however we wanted, but if we ordered everything upfront, they would pair items together or at least serve everything in the best order since some items taste better eaten before/after other items. All plates were served far enough apart that we enjoyed a good two hour dinner! They had a runner constantly filling everyone’s water as well as cleaning off the tables between plates. Great service and we never felt rushed! Both the women’s and men’s restrooms were single, private rooms. The women’s restroom was clean and cozy like you were in someone’s house. Lastly, the décor of the place felt classy and lovely for a special date night. I also noticed a lot of special occasions being celebrated there since many people were brought a small dessert dish with a candle lit. :) Some even had flowers from their dates. Cute! Highly recommend for a unique, upscale, impeccable dining experience!

The food here was absolutely incredible. The pork belly is just insanely great. Anything with that is gonna be good. The meat on the ribs literally falls off the bone. I’m from out of town and was very impressed. If I’m ever back I will definitely come back. The service was very good as well! Definitely make the time to have a dinner here!

**TIPS and THINGSTOKNOW: –it is a SMALL plate restaurant. Everything is meant to be shared and loved. –it is on the pricier end. But it is worth every damn penny. You are paying for ART. –make reservations ahead of time! Seriously. –you WILL experience different kinds of foods. And probably love it. Do NOT be scared to try anything new! Wow. I literally can not say one single bad thing about this place. It is everything a restaurant should strive to be. Our new favorite spot! Came here last night with the fiancé. We had been trying to come for awhile; we live right in town. But they are just so popular it is always so busy! Oh man, what a blast of flavors! Every dish is a piece of culinary art. We were served a piece of warm baguette with goat cheese and some kind of sweet fruit to start. Then they brought out spiced truffle popcorn. OMG. The BEST popcorn EVER.(These were starters that were given to everyone– free apps!) Then we got the catfish banh mi, which we were skeptical about at first. Being Asian, we are extra judgmental when it comes to how our kind of food is prepared. It was different; served open-faced style, the best damn banh mi I’ve ever had haha. Moved on to the B.e.L.T which is pork belly, duck egg yolk, lettuce and tomato marmalade all on a nice toasty baguette. EXCELLENT. Last two dishes and our most favorite was the foie gras sliders and of course, their featured ribs with ginger ice cream(Yes, ice cream!!), that stays on their menu as it is the most favorite.(The chef changes the menu as he pleases) And to end, we didn’t order dessert but of course the chef doesn’t let you leave without something sweet so they brought a small dairy free chocolate sorbet for us to share.(Free of charge of course) SO. The food? Amazing. You can taste the love in every bite. Our server? Attentive, very well educated in the culinary arts, and just a damn great guy. Ambiance? Beautiful inside, but we enjoyed the outdoor seating. We will definitely be back. Probably tonight.

I’m so happy. Finally finally finally we found the good stuff in our own town. Why did it take us a year to go to Honey, after moving to Doylestown? I’m an idiot sometimes. Mind = Blown. Tapas style, small plates to share(not suggesting the food is Spanish, which it isn’t). Unbelievably diverse and creative menu. Two of us ordered 6 items, which was the right amount of food. Every. Single. Thing. We. Ordered. was absolutely fantastic. Cocktail menu was also amazing. And honestly? For the quality going on here, the price is very good. I was pleasantly surprised when the check came.
