We had the barbecue pork shank special on a bed of jalapeño and bacon Mac and Cheese which was to die for. Simply unbelievable, the jalapeño was perfectly subtle and the bacon brought it home! The pork shank was delicious and perfectly prepared. Thank you Jeff and Ryan great job. Service, as always great!

It’s a solid if uninspired choice. The food for here and 86 west come out of the same kitchen. It really only ok. It should be great. I would separate the menus. Who wants to eat so so sushi in a colonial setting. The best bargain is the $ 1 martinis. You have to ask but they rock. I only go for lunch but I can’t imagine dinner is much different.

40 minutes for a tuna roll? 30 minutes with an empty beer glass? On a Thursday night? I won’t be back anytime soon.

Had dinner tonight in bar area. Our server Angela was wonderful. The dinner was great especially the tuna sliders. The tuna was cooked perfectly. Angela is a great front of the house person~attentive, helpful, and pleasant without being intrusive. Great night. 4 stars because the entrance needed some refreshing.

I just have to say that i have been coming here on and off for about 7 years and The Knight House still has it!!! The menu is amazing and the food is delicious! Our server Ryan took more than good care of us. From his amazing recommendations on their signature martinis to his superb knowledge of the menu and food. We started with the hummus appetizer which was amazing! Three choices of the smoothest best hummus we have ever had! The pesto hummus was just perfect! For entrees we had a filet, cooked to perfection, and the fish tacos. The filet was so good that we asked where they get their meat from and were proud to find out that it was a local purveyor! I love local businesses that also buy local! The fish tacos were the freshest and best ive ever had! The chef must really take pride in what he does! We will definitely be back and probably more frequently!!!

Food was good, but service was slow as molasses. We ordered sushi as appetizers; apparently they flew to Japan to make it. Sushi is made at the sister restaurant next door, which was mobbed. It took an hour for the sushi, and one of our salads and soup. I tried for a 7pm reservation, but was told they were full, but can fit me in at 630. When we arrived, there were 70% of the tables open.

Visited The Knight House this evening. Everything we ordered came with something wrong. Took forever to fix it because our waiter was not to be found. He did offer free dessert to compensate for the issues but the food was so mediocre that no one wanted to bother with dessert. Shocked this place has such high reviews.

If you are looking for a more toned down atmosphere than 86 next door, but the same quality food, then you will not be disappointed. We were very pleased with the specials, grilled salmon with lobster mashed potatoes and grilled swordfish with truffle mashed potatoes with wok fried brussel sprouts. The caesar salad is a must as is the dessert apple crumb pie with vanilla ice cream. While this menu might not sound overwhelming to cooking experts, the way its cooked here is perfection. However, one of the things that stood out the most tonight, was the outstanding service we received from Kristen our server. She was engaging, attentive, and committed to making sure we were happy with our drinks and food the entire meal. We haven’t had such good service like this in a long time and it deserves to be recognized.

Came here because I saw the byob notes on Unilocal.I didn’t realize they had a bar as well!!! So it is fully loaded with beers and liquors. The place is very cozy and based on my understanding similar to other doyleatown type restaurants. There is a bar area downstairs and a dining room which appeared to be occupied by a corporate dinner. We dinned upstairs where there were about 10 or so tables. We were sat in the corner and asked to be moved, after a bit of squirming form the waitress they moved us. there were multiple people taking care of us which was great except when they all simultaneously dropped the ball. We waited a bit at the end for our check but honestly no big deal at all. The food was delicious, steaks were oh so tender. The fact that we could bring bottles was a huge plus. We had the lobster mac and cheese as an app, while it wasn’t overflowing with cheese, whatever made it crunchy on top had us literally licking the bowl to finish it. Food was great, the atmosphere is slightly awkward based on the layout and the seating but not bad enough not to come back.

Our meal(party of 2) was very good. My husband had crab cakes and I had Thai shrimp and scallops. Both were cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was quiet and intimate. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. However, we are only rating them a 3 because the classic cheesecake was terrible. It was stale and tasteless. What a surprise. What a disappointment for such a lovely place,

The food was great! Ordered a surf and turf and scallops. There is a $ 10 fee to byob, which I want aware of from their website. Also, you have to ask for bread if you want it, not automatic. Great experience overall!

The rating basically reflects a melding of the food(4 star) and service(2 star). Lobster and Tuna rolls were excellent with perfect textures. Lettuce wraps and hummus apps were spot on and cocktails were well crafted. Service was atrocious and unless you have an extra hour, at least, to spare on a weeknight, pass this place by. Missed orders, no refresh, forgot to review specials… the incompetence went on the entire meal. Tourist restaurant…

Absolutely wonderful experience. Service was the star of our trip. Our server Matt was just wonderful. I was dining with my grandparents and he was more than accommodating of their needs. The food was great… a little under seasoned but nothing a salt and pepper shaker can’t handle. Above and beyond my expectations.

4 stars because the service was not that great. We went on a Wednesday night and the service seemed slow. I don’t think we were greeted for about 10 minutes by our waiter. I normally would’ve left but I was there with my husband and his boss who is from out of town, so we dealt with it. The food was really good though! So we definitely would go back. The restaurant itself is small but very pretty! They also have an outside bar which looked pretty nice.

Stopped in for happy hour(4:45 pm on a Friday) and asked to sit at a table in the bar as we had a group of 7. Hostess said no since we were only ordering drinks and apps we couldn’t sit there. They don’t even have 7 seats at the bar, so we left. The place had no customers in the bar, not a one! We took our couple hundred dollar bar and app tab down the street to the tap room! We had gone to happy hour at the knight house in the past and sat at that very table! Poor business policy!

This is as good as it gets! We dined tonight in the Knight’s living room… There were only a handful of tables, and we had two waitresses, and the meals were perfect. My husband had the salmon and I had veggie burger snacks, then a giant Hawaiian salad, with fresh pineapple, avocado and sweet dressing. The leaves were mixed and fresh as if picked today! I loved every second of feeling special here, and then when they brought out the homemade apple pie, an «entire pie» we cheered out loud. Loved this night and can’t wait to take more friends with us next time.

Stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner after seeing the Grace Kelly exhibit at the Michener. I started with some broccoli cheddar soup which was nice, but oddly thick. We weren’t given bread or crackers or anything to go with it. For my main dish I went with fish and chips. I guess this just isn’t the right place for it. I thought it had a very odd, unpleasant flavor, maybe freezer burn? I’m not really sure. I ended up eating the fish without the batter and that was ok.
