No alternatives in the area means this is your only choice when you want to pick something up quickly. Since being bought by sears they now have Craftsman and other Sears brands. I’ve had good experiences and bad experiences shopping here. Sometimes people are nice and helpful, other times it’s a lesson to the kids on why it’s important to stay in school.

Tonight, once again after a few months of not entering the Kmart store I tried to shop. I needed some home goods and I thought, well, I’m on my way home from work, maybe it will be ok. I walked in and went directly to the household storage area. A woman was working in that area moving things around, a kmart shopping cart was sitting in the aisle. I walked up to the shelves with the clear bins and the sign in front $ 7.99. I put two in my cart. I then went to different departments and shopped spending over $ 80.00 worth of merchandise. upon checking out I was charged $ 17.99 each for the clear containers. I asked for someone to check this as I saw the sign in front of the containers for $ 7.99. The customer service girl called a manager to check. The manager came back and told me that the bins were correct and I was not looking in the correct area. Ok, don’t believe that this is happening again as it has happened so many times before. Well, I decided to return everything and leave. So, now I have to wait for the«Customer Service» to credit my account. After she took care of another customer,(another waiting behind them just left) I was patient! I waited! She finally took care of me. She apologized and thanked me for being patient… where was the manager that told me I wasn’t correct in my shopping??? My receipt showed my check out time of 7:32 and my credit was sometime after 8pm. This is absolutely crazy and customer service, what??? I will never shop there again, I will tell everyone I can, and the Manager on Duty at the time must have been soooo busy that he couldn’t have helped the very patient and courteous customer service girl. Sarine is the customer service girl that was cornered behind the desk and the Manager, I guess had to get back to what ever he was doing. I was there on Tuesday between 7 and 8 and I believe the customers that were there at the same time feel as I do.

Went to Bön Ton on 12−10−14 to but shower curtains, liners, hooks and a bar to hold it all up. Looked around did not see any, Looked for a sales associate, nobody, a couple at the register who seem to busy. Finally found some curtains. my choices were dim. lousy selection. hardly any hooks and no bars seen at all. I went to K-mart and found over 30 different items to chose from. Everything in one place not to mention the prices were excellent. Left with everything I needed. Not sure it was a bad day for Bön Ton but will not go there anymore. The only thing I can say about Kmart is the lines move slow. I think it’s because all the questions at the register not to mention all the receipt’s they give you. Over all a good store to go too.

It’s still a Kmart, but it is probably the nicest, and busiest Kmart I have ever been into. It probably helps being in a more well-off area, also lack of competition.(I live closer to Target and Walmart but usually end up making a drive here anyway; when I have ‘points’ to use up). Was remodeled a couple years ago and everything is clean, organized, and well-stocked. They usually have more than one checkout lane open as well. Pricing still seems a little high on items that aren’t on sale.

Beirut 1983. Thats what this kmart is to me. possibly the worst run and worst staffed kmart ever. i have no idea how any kmart is in business but especially this one. i tell myself im not going in and wind up getting sucked in because i need something and the walmart and target are 10 miles away. and i go and cant find what i need. i am volunteering to push the ‘deploy’ button for implosion. please sell or go out of business.

Tried to return something had the receipt but i didnt have the package cause i threw it out when i got it like any normal person and then they girl with red hair at the customer service desk has a sny attitude like somethings stuck up her butt doesnt even say hello, DONt come to this place unless you wanna be stalked and not be able to retyrn something just because you dont have a package oh and everybody there has a SNOBBYATTITUDE the undercover who thunks hes undercover is a predjudice loser. Get your act together or else imma filer a police report on that fool for following me around and i aint even doing nothing wrong get a life…

If you ever had to go to Customer Service you will appreciate this. We had a minor issue that needed the assistance of Customer Service. It was the day after Black Friday and the store was crawling with people. We were told to speak with Todd Davis who had about 10 people tugging at him for one thing or another. Todd never lost his cool and worked thru each task and kept moving our issue forward without skipping a beat. He is amazing and has a work ethic unlike others his age. Nice!

I find what I want and need here at a fair price. I shop here largely for convenience. It is close and inexpensive. It’s competitor is in Quakertown, which is way too far away. I find the sort of thing I have to go to Staples for at the Doylestown location, which saves me much time and aggravation. They now carry printer paper, and some office supplies. These were NOT easy to find. They were mixed in with a school supply section. They should expand the office goods and give them a special section within the area they were located. A good selection of toys. Plastic totes are always on sale. Lately, the store seems to have added more cashiers, so waiting time is much less. This is a plus. The restrooms are clean, and were re-done. Very nice. I understand there is now a lay-a-way service. This sure is nice to see again. Much nicer than running up a large credit card bill. The electronic section carries the basic stuff for cameras and phones. CD’s are carried there as well. Not a huge selection of electronics, but the basics, and sometimes that is all a person needs. There is a separate cashier for the electronics area. This is a time saver. Also a time saver is the refrigerated section along the back wall. I don’t have to run into the supermarket to get eggs, milk and a few other things. Again, a time saver. I commend the seasonal department. It is priced right, and the folks working in that dept. really go out of their way to serve the customer. I purchased a lawn mower there and it was assemble the very same day! No complaints, either. However, the shrub selection could be better. It would be good if they got a wider variety of bedding annuals, as well. At least get different colors of the few varieties that are offered. Also, the seasonal dept. needs to pay closer attention to watering the plants. Often, entire sections are dead. This is a shame because they are priced very reasonably. The same stuff is much more expensive at a garden center. Although the local flea market carries plants, they don’t have the amount of them that K-mart carries in season. As said earlier, shopping here is very convenient. No need to wait until flea market day! I find that the plants tend to be fresher in the early morning. I don’t like the quality of clothing that is carried since the take-over by Sears. Still, they are affordable and better quality than the big name competitor. The shoes could be better quality. All in all, I like having this store readily available for essential things. I hope they expand the stationary goods.

It’s OK — as Kmarts go. I am glad its around though — for cheap kids clothing, pullups and paper products. It’s kind of an emergency only place for me. Again, as Kmarts go this one is clean and relatively well staffed. They also were very nice about accepting a product return we had one time. We used to stop here more when the SuperFresh was open in the same strip mall, but alas, the Superfresh has closed.
