Store salespeople are always helpful and make the shopping experience great. I don’t aways like shopping with my wife, but I always enjoy going to this store.

I really like shopping here because I can find things for reasonably low prices. But sometimes I find nothing. It’s just because this store is not your typical clothing & department store, and it’s not often you’ll find two of the same item for sale.
But the PRICES! I love them. Stores like this and Ross are my favorite because you get so much more for the money you spend. Even walk over to Kohl’s and you’ll end up spending $ 20+ on a single shirt while here you could get two or even three for that same price.
Like another reviewer said, it’s very hit or miss. I have come in here with a goal in mind, for example finding a dress for a formal event and come up empty handed, but went to browse the other day and found TONS of things I liked. It really depends.
Prices are great, never had a problem with the staff, have been going here for ages, and don’t plan to stop anytime soon.

I have never been so furious about a customer service experience in my life. Just to give you an idea I had surgery 4 days ago and I’m still mad about this. Your cashier that was doing my return was rude, smug and should not be in retail. I was returning 2 items from previous purchase. She gave me atitude right from the beginning. She stared at my receipt for at least 10 minutes as she was putting lotion on her hands. The funny part is that I had my receipt. After waiting all of this time patiently at this point, I ask her if there was something wrong. She brushed me off and said in a mean voice I’m trying to figure this out. I had 3 things on the receipt and I’m returning 2 of them. She goes all the way down to the last register and I guess talked to the manager. So finally after 20 minutes I went all the way down the end where they were and asked the manager what is the issue here. I waited 20 minutes and I need to go to my doctors appointment. I said I’m very upset and furious that I had to wait all of this time. The manager dares to tells me well how do you think the cashier feels. Why is that the concern? Why is she upset? I’m the customer and at least she is getting paid.

Hit or miss — but when you hit, you hit big.
You gotta be prepared to wade through the scattered, disorganished racks and try things on,
Cheap? Yes.
Pain in the neck to shop here? Yes.
There are better and worse Marshall’s locations. This one is just MEH.
Avoid during December and 1^st week of Jan (holiday lines are long and sooooo not worth it).

I love this Marshalls. It has everything that you need at good, low prices. I love how each section is pretty much a big deal… you won’t find a kitchen or shoe section that is lame. I like how their shoe department puts shoes on display with the boxes underneath each shoe style. This not only makes it look fancy, but keeps it from being a cluttered mess on those long, tall shoe racks that you see at most stores. Their kitchen section is OMG awesome. I wanted to go overload with all the stuff I found since its hard to find a big kitchenware department like that in the honolulu stores. But I had to remember that I only had 1 suitcase for packing purchased crap.
Huge shoe section. Even bigger kitchen and homewares sections. There are also a lot of bedding/​bathroom products. Childrens section and womens section are huge, especially the juniors. I found so many cute shirts that I convinced myself I could use them as stuffing for keeping things safe in my suitcase – so that way it would be okay to buy lots :)
For as clean and straightened this store is, there are not many associates patrolling the aisles if you need assistance. I always tend to find a few around the back part of the store near the mirrors and bedding. Check out service is super quick and I’ve never had problems with the wrong prices coming up on the screen. Everything is good here. Please go and shop if this type of store meets your eye. You can definitely find a lot of things to decorate your new place with here. The merge with Homegoods is probably the best thing that’s come this store’s way.

Disappointing.
The place is too crammed with stuff, and it starts as soon as you walk in the door.
I find the housewares dept. sloppy, and it really makes a bad impression the way everything is just tossed on to the shelves.
The clothing has the look of dept. store rejects. Picked over and not very good selection to begin with. I never find anything I would like to wear in that place.
I had a problem in there concerning pricing. The item I wanted had a price sticker on it, but when I went to pay for it the cashier felt it was priced wrong, and they would not let me buy it. What BS. I had purchased one of the same thing earlier that day, and had no problem, and it was priced the same. Isn’t there a law about that in PA?
Another time I had a problem with a return. The receipt said one thing, but the nasty cashier disputed it. I had to get the manager involved. What BS.
I sometimes go in to browse, but I end up buying elsewhere. Too many bad experiences.
