Allstar Movers

Spoke with the manager/​owner and he was very helpful and friendly. Hired 2 guys to help with a small move from an apartment to a moving container. They were both friendly and started off pretty efficiently. I was very hopeful at that point. And then halfway through, I began noticing that one or the other would disappear or take a long «bathroom» break. At some point I noticed that a female showed up to help hold the front door open and then drove off with the two men at the end of the job. Very bizarre. We were working with a time restraint and then they completely just gave up the last crucial 20 – 30 minutes and didn’t tie things down to the moving container. I was left to frantically ensure everything was secured before the container was to be picked up. Would not recommend.

I hired Allstar Movers to help me unload a shipping container.
We agreed on a price of $ 200 for 2 hours. This was a similar
price to other movers I contacted. I went with Allstar because
they were local.
About half way through the job, the movers said that the
work was harder than I had stated during the initial phone conversation. They demanded $ 600 to finish the job.
I believe they realized I was under a time constraint, and tried to extort
more money from me. I reluctantly negotiated a price of $ 300 to finish the job. The movers left after 1 hour 20 minutes of work.
Needless to say, I would never hire them again, nor recommend them to anyone else.
