I went to Pure for a massage and I had Susan. She was great. I was having a lot of neck and shoulder pain and I felt so much better after the massage. I also went in for a haircut and highlights which was done by Alison. She did a great job. I’ll definitely be going back.

While I am no spa aficionado I have been to many spas — some in Boston, others in Stowe, and local spas. There are some things I expect — a confirmation call, which I did not receive. I except someone to offer to take my coat, which did not happen. I had asked for a female therapist(fairly sure) and she said she would check their recordings to see if that happened — but offered me an hour(my groupon was for 90 min). I booked a hot stone. My therapist was male — I decided to stay with it since it is so hard foe me to get someone to watch the kids at home. So, the environment — not so great — you go into the room, which is a bit chilly, and a rocky like floor, uncomfortable to stand on. The towels were not very warm — I started on my back and was expecting the stones to be placed under my shoulders — but I guess everyone does it differently. The oil wasn’t heated — which I consider to me a very, VERY nice touch. I had a lot of knots in my back and he used his elbows to work them out. I was in so much pain I couldn’t wait for the massage to be over. I could barely move for two hours. There is no area for you to sit down in after the massage so its pretty much go home. Also I had my hair cut and colored back in October — never again — the girls were making themselves up in the mirrors at their stations — they had set up a sweets buffet(including a chocolate fountain) in the middle of the salon? YUK! Flying hair anyone? Also the girl was hovering over me when she waiting for my color to set — and then when she rinsed me — my whole back was soaked :(The cut she gave did not hold its shape. Sorry, groupon or not I won’t be back.

You never know what you could get with a Groupon, but this was not a disappointment. I had an awesome massage and a 30 minute facial. First of all, it’s in Dracut and I have to be honest I was scared. Dracut is not known for beautiful things. While the outside isn’t anything to write your mom about, the inside is a complete surprise! It’s something off of Newbury Street. Beautifully done. Everyone is super nice and while it may seem stuffy and uptight the people put you right at ease. The prices are right. There are a myriad of services done by trained professionals who are caring and kind. I will definitely be going back.

I went to Pure Salon and Spa and had a 90 minute massage. I bought this deal on groupon. I like buying groupons but I have had a few bad experiences where when you use groupons, the staff of wherever you are seem really annoyed with it. This WASNOT the case at all here. The woman who booked my appointment was very nice and helpful. The Spa is really nice, clean and modern. My massage therapist was Chad and it was honestly the BEST massage that I had ever had and I get them all of the time. He was extremely professional and talented. What a great experience, GOTHERE! I rarely write reviews but I can really appreciate when a place is worth my hard earned money!

I went here with a groupon for a 90 minute massage and 30 minute facial. Overall it was a great experience. The salon is beautiful and very modern. I wasn’t expecting that it dracut. The facial was fine. It was only 30 mins so hard to compare it to others that I’ve had. I did like that she stayed while the mask dried to give me a scalp massage. The massage was excellent. Olga was professional and accommodating — not the friendliest person in the world, but she gave a great massage so that’s what matters. Other people commented that the room was cold and was used as a storage closet. I didn’t have that experience. Th room was a comfortable temp and they asked me if i wanted it warmer. There weren’t any boxes. However, I could hear people walking with loud shoes right outside the door which was a little distracting. They seemed to have a white noise machine going so I assumed they were trying to block that out. I’d recommend trying this place.

I recently treated myself to a mini spa day after finals and I was very pleased with the service I received! I decided to go all out and got a facial, massage, and mani/pedi! The esthetician that worked on my face name was Stephanie, totally recommend her! She was very attentive and acknowledged all my problem spots and made me feel very comfortable! I enjoyed the hot towel and steam! Left my face feeling so fresh and rejuvenated! What blew me away was the extra foot massage I got! It was my first time here and getting a little extra foot massage during a facial session went beyond my expectations :-) The massage was also to die for! The masseuse literally had magic hands! I received the«body glow» and then had a nice steam shower. I def. recommend the masseuse I got! CHAD, he’s so funny and like I said he def. knows how to work those«MAGICHANDS»! The mani/pedi was also superb! I love how I can get all these services done and didn’t have to be rushed arounds by a million different people! The mani/pedi was around $ 45 The facial was around $ 65 The massage was around $ 90 BUT i got 20% off since I tan next store at Rockstar Tan [great referral program!] I will def. be coming back to this salon/spa, I actually need a trim soon! I’ll update you guys on my next visit!

I used a Groupon to get a facial, hair wash/cut/style, and makeup application. It was my first facial, so I have no comparison, but I thought it was good. My hair cut was great and my hair styling was AMAZING as I have never had my curly hair professionally straightened before and was super pleased with how it looked, she really took her time and I was her last appointment of the day. The makeup application was okay, I think it was just too much for me since I like a more natural look. Overall I enjoyed the experience, it was a fabulous day. It did take a lot longer for all of the services than Groupon had estimated, so I was starving when I left(there is a Dunkin Donuts right next door though!). The place is also small, but very nice.

I came here for a facial. I am remiss at the name of the facialist, so, sorry. When you walk in you don’t expect what comes next. The place doesn’t seem suited for spa work but when you step behind another door it transforms into a serene environment. My facial was pretty darned good. She dug at the extractions, which was good, because I don’t have one of those steam machines and a high powered magnifying glass and eyeballs that can rotate around my head to really do this right myself. Did it hurt? A little, but to be fair she told me to tell her if the pressure’s too much and she’ll pull back, but I wanted her to get what she could so I took it like a woman.(I was going to say«took it like a man,» but we all know men are cry babies with ouchies.) She did some things to reduce redness after and then put me in a hydrating masque. While my face was hydrating, she massaged my feet. After it was all said and dine she sat me up and gave a light shoulder massage. This was a bit awkward. It would have been much better if she’d gone at my shoulders while I was lying down. Overall, good experience. I didn’t really have any redness when I left and I didn’t get any resulting breakouts after the facial. And my skin is SOOO much smoother.

Like a few of the other reviewers I went here with a buywithme coupon for a massage and facial. If you had asked me a few months ago where Dracut was I probably couldn’t have told you but $ 50 for an hour massage and an hour facial!!! I’ll whip out my GPS and drive for that! The place is tiny but they’ve redone the back area and I thought the 2 treatments rooms were nice although in the front room the acoustics aren’t great and you can hear the blow dryers from the front room. My main complaint is the professionalism of the masseuse and the esthetician. It’s not what you think. I was greeted promptly and introduced to my masseuse who was super sweet(the esthetician who I saw later was really nice as well). So what was the problem you ask? The both suffered from an addiction that is taking over the world. I was lying on the table with my eyes closed and I heard a clicking noise. At first I dismissed it but it was fairly consistent and all of a sudden it ‘clicked’. She was TEXTING while giving me my massage! And she continued to do so for the majority of the service. I went onto the facial expecting this was an isolated incident but then I heard what was by then a familiar sound. In additional to texting the esthetician was also chewing gum which was distracting as well. I do feel a bit bad putting these girls on blast but really!!! Texting is definitely becoming an epidemic in this country!

Don’t utilize Pure’s hair services unless you want to leave looking thirty years older. I came here the day before my birthday because I had a Groupon. I waited 20 minutes in a freezing cold room for my facial to start. The technician performing the facial was very nice, but she left gritty stuff on my face at the end of it, and I had to wipe it off myself with a towel that I found in the room. Strike one. My groupon came with $ 50 in free waxing services, but I worked it out with the Salon so they would give me the credit towards color service instead. I brought in a picture that seemed simple enough; bleach blond hair, shoulder length shag(my hair was brown at the time). I explained that I’m only 27, I don’t have a normal 9 – 5 job, and that I can do funky things with my hair. I like it pretty rock and roll, I explained. The colorist/stylist(it was the same person) put the foils in my hair and I waited. When she took them out and applied the toner, my hair was still dark brown WITHWHITESTREAKS. She said that it would take a few more visits to get my hair to the blond that I wanted it to be at(I’ve been blond a few times before, and that was never the case). HUGE strike two. When I came into the salon, I had a shoulder-length undercut that looked cool when I first had it done, but it was now grown out and looked scraggly. I asked for shorter layers on top, so that it would look more like a shag and less like a mess. I wanted the length to be the same. I was reading a book as she was cutting, and looked up at one point to find that my hair WASGONE. She had cut my hair to just above my chin(I have a round face, so this is a huge no-no). After blowing it dry, I looked like a grandmother — shapeless grandma bob that made my face look fatter, with white streaks that made me look thirty years older. I had to pay $ 125 over the price of the Groupon for this woman to ruin my head. When I got home, my roommates were stunned to silence when I walked in through the door. Finally, one of them said, «At least you look closer in age to your husband.»(My husband is five years older than me and has been going gray since the age of 16. It looks striking on him, but not so much on my head). I cried for an hour, and then called my mom. She suggested a colorist at Mario Russo Salon on Newbury St that her beautiful blond friend has been going to for 10 years. The next day(my birthday), this best of Boston colorist miraculously had an opening, and after five hours of reconstructive hair surgery and almost $ 700 later, she(and a very talented stylist named Michael) had corrected Pure Salon’s mistakes. I learned two things from this ordeal: 1) Do things right the first time. I love Groupons, but I won’t ever use one for hair again unless I know the place. If I had just called up Mario Russo’s in the first place, I probably would have saved over half of the $ 900 I ended up spending during this whole debacle. 2) Never, ever go to Pure Salon and Spa in Dracut.

Although the place was modern and they have AVEDA products, the place is small… really small. 2 chairs in the front for the hair salon, through a door in the back, 2 seats for nails, and all the way in the back, one tiny closet for massages. I was brought to the massage room at the appointment time, was told she’d be right back. In the closet they call a room, stacked with random stuff in corners, it was cold, and dark. I layed on this rickety old table waiting for the masseuse 15mins later, in she comes and begins my massage. She was nice, striking a conversation. But how am I supposed to relax when you’re talking to me the whole time? The massage was good, and the products they used were awesome. But, between the shivers, sounds of voices from the other room, and someone vacuuming, it was hard to relax. Just as I was starting to zone out, the massage was over. I’m pretty sure I didn’t receive the hour massage I paid for. My friend was still getting her nails done, AND the massage started 15mins late. It sure wasnt a «spa» experience. Theres no fluffy robes or amazing showers. Overall the experience was OK. If I lived in the area, I’d definitely return. Driving through the street they call«the town of dracut», I’m pretty sure this is your best option for a salon and spa. BUT don’t be the last appointment of the day. Understandably, the staff is tired and wants to go home. P. S. I saw a woman just finishing her hair appointment, and it looked AMAZING. And to Pure Salon and Spa, clean up that room. If you are going to make it a massage room for customers, you cant use it as a closet too. It makes the spa experience not so zen. Oh, and the same with the bathroom. Also, I was naked in that room, it was damn cold. Turn up the heat, or put a small space heater in there. Thanks!

I wish I could give this place a better review and hopefully the problems I experienced were simply because it’s new. But I cant help but wonder if some of the problems were based on me using a BuyWithMe coupon rather than paying full price. I will start by saying that my massage was excellent. Jessica knew the right spots that needed intense care and she got the knots out of my back. She also worked my feet very well and made my whole body feel very relaxed for the next few days. However, I couldnt enjoy the massage as much as I wouldve liked because I was freezing! They were having a problem with the heat, so the room was very cold and she apologized when she felt that my feet were ice cubes. Another problem was that I guess the massage before me ran over because they told me that they were waiting for the room to open up. So my massage didnt end up starting until 4:20, which worried me since they closed at 5 and I paid(with the BuyWithMe coupon) for an hour massage, but I figured that they would just go past 5 and do the hour massage since the last person went over on her time. Well unfortunately I was incorrect. When the massage was finished, I looked at my watch, and it was indeed 5pm. So I got jipped out of 20 minutes of the massage, which I cant help but think wouldnt have happened if I didnt have the coupon, but either way I think that is terribly wrong. Dont offer a coupon and treat those people worse. That’s no way to get business. And the main reason why I think it was because of the coupon was because scheduling was also a process. My friend called first to make our appoinments and they said she needed to talk to a specific person to schedule using the coupon, so they told her that the girl in charge of that would call her back. Well of course a few days went by and she never got called back, so I called and made the appointment. Why do we need to talk to a special person to schedule using the coupon? We should be treated just like any other customer if you want us to return. They also said they werent sure if they would have a second room available by then for us to get our massages at the same time but that they would book it and then call to confirm. Well of course I never got the confirmation call so I called the day before and first they told me they couldnt do it and then I complained and then someone else got on and said it was all set. So again, not sure if the confusion is because they are new or because I had the coupon, but either way I hope this place gets their act together or else they wont be in business very long. And start treating your coupon customers like any other, particularly making an hour massage last an hour rather than taking away 1⁄3 of the time because of your own scheduling issues.
