This place was just a wonderful surprise. Had an Eggs Benedict made with hash browns and bacon — outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly and wonderfully seasoned. The staff was warm and attentive. Even the coffee was great.

Stopped by for lunch one day. Had the turkey club and an iced tea. Food was delicious, staff was pleasant, and it was a nice atmosphere that made you feel at home. I’ve heard the breakfast here is really good as well so I will definetely be back!

First time here this AM and the service was terrific and the food was awesome. Had the Irish Benedict where the ham was replaced with a great Hash. Coffee was good and it’s a real cozy place with super nice and friendly staff. Definitely recommend and will be returning

Pistachio pancakes are my favorite, always craving them. This place is really cozy and they have pretty good iced coffee. I’ve had eggs & home fries as well as a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. All has been good.

Great food and great service! Friendly staff. Can’t wait to try it for lunch. We went on Valentine’s Day. Had to wait for a table for a few minutes but the ladies were very accommodating. You will love it here.

Drove by this little gem a few times and finally stopped in for breakfast. Sad that I hadn’t sooner! Delicious delicious delicious! I got three banana pancakes and hash Browns and everything was served hot and fresh. The service was amazing, so friendly and welcoming and such a cute little place!

This place is sooooo cute. So perfect in every way! Their breakfast is delicious, the service is great, the girls who work the floors are so helpful and sweet and they have New England brand coffee, so you know it’s good. I have had this sandwich there that I swear by. I got it on an onion bagel. It had egg cheddar and hash browns on it. It was SOGOOD. I can’t wait to get it again. But I’m trying a bunch of other new things on their menu before I do. One of the last times I went in I had a spinach and egg scramble with home fries and raisin toast and their home fries are seasoned and made with love. You can just tell. My boyfriend had a blueberry pancake and said it was one of the best he’s had while out to eat! And he’s the pancake King! Has his own recipe for the ones he makes me at home and everything.(I had a bite and it was heavenly, I must say) it’s right next to my house which I love and the décor is so cute and fits perfectly with the vibes of this café. I’m already excited for the next time I go back!!!

We live 30 mins away and still eat here at least once — and sometimes twice — a week! The food is delectable, creative, and beautifully presented. We even get to try out and give feedback on newly crafted items before they are listed. Despite the reasonable prices, we consider our meals at Sophia’s to be special ones that we look forward to. Be sure to say hi to the owner and other family members that help out. They will make you smile!

Really Good Breakfast! Got a coupon in the mail so thought we’d give it a try. Inside is small but very nicely decorated, painted a very cheery yellow. The single waitress was very nice, quick to refill our cups. Coffee was very good(& when you drink it black, you appreciate that). I had an egg sandwich with home fries. Really good home fries, obviously homemade from red potatoes. Bigger than the normal cubed ones, these were almost french fry size. They were very soft & tasty. Sandwich was good too, hard to screw up an egg sandwich though. Ward got eggs & bacon & asked for his bacon crisp & it came crisp. If you are in the area, stop by, you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

I hate to put a damper on a place that everybody seems to love, but yeah, it wasn’t that great. My hash omelette was full of moist, non-crisped, canned hash, and covered with boxed hollandaise. I wouldn’t be surprised if the eggs were out of a carton, either, as there was no texture to them. The biggest sin of all, however, was the home fries. The only color on the potatoes came from the seasoning. They were not properly introduced to hot metal, that’s for sure. Soggy, soggy, soggy. Bleh. Sorry, Sophia. My brother was excited to share your place with me, but even he had to apologize when we were walking out.

Ok so we went to eat there, as we saw it as we drove down along the Merrimack. She spells her name the way we spell it for our youngest daughter, so it caught our eye immediately and its in a great location… right along the Merrimack. We live in So Cal, but were here to visit our daughter who is going to UML. Though my family is from Lawrence and Methuen… so I have been coming here my whole life. ANyway, we went back to eat prior to leaving. WE were waited on by Sophia herself. Very nice and amicable person. The place is really nice, flowers, lots of little cute signs, views, and just a homey atmosphere. Lots of interesting and local(beans for breakfast if you want) foods. We really enjoyed the food, the time, the place, the interactions. We plan to go again next visit, and would highly recomend

Went on a busy Sunday– we had to wait a few minutes for a table, but it was well worth it! I got the pesto benedict and my husband got the eggs benedict– both were amazing! The home fries are probably the best I have ever had. The place is also completely family run– it appeared that Sophia was in the back cooking, and her daughter was taking care of the front of the house! They were both so sweet and I love that this place is a family affair. I highly recommend Sophia’s and we will definitely be back :)

Quiet surprise. Splendid egg breakfast. Good, actually better, service. Sophia’s Café doesn’t have a large road presence and I almost missed it. As it is I stopped at the place next door before I found the restaurant. But I found my breakfast well worth the stop. I’ll be back even though it’s a ways from home. Oh, and, there really is a Sophie and she’s great v

Very good breakfast sandwiches and homemade Greek food! The owners are sisters and go above and beyond to make you happy! They learned my name the first time I went there! Also their prices are good! Love going here for breakfast or picking up a to go breakfast sandwich after working the night shift! Get the«happy» sandwich and you’ll be happy you did!

Drove by Sophia’s last night and decided to give it a try this morning for brunch, especially after seeing it had great reviews. We all enjoyed our food — french toast, home fries and sandwiches. I had the fit wrap but requested it on a bulkie roll and it was absolutely delicious/satisfying. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Have no idea what the food is like but the service was so bad I got up & left. Get this, they did not know that a club sandwich required bacon!

What a great family friendly spot for breakfast or lunch! My husband and I went for breakfast today and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. I had a cinnamon swirl pancake and poached eggs. The pancake was light and very tasty and my eggs were prepared perfectly. Sophia, the owner asked how I would like my eggs poached, loose or firm, which I so appreciated. My husband had the overstuffed, breakfast burrito. The portions were quite ample, without serving a huge portion with lots of waste. We sure hope this restaurant stays on the boulevard for years to come!

Had breakfast here a few weeks ago. Place was very clean with excellent service and the breakfast falls into the top 5 local places. The eggs were cooked perfect, bacon cooked good not over cooked. The home fries were an added plus, cooked throughout, seasoned very nice. Try it out and meet the owner, very nice woman and concerned about your breakfast experience

Great little café on 110. Went twice this week for brunch with my family. On the first visit my sister and I got the Opa! — a fried egg, melted cheese, home fries, and sausage(choice of meat) on a bulkie roll. It was so tasty. Their home fries are excellent — great flavor and texture. This time around I got the Cajun Omelet. My dad got the 2 eggs, corned beef hash, and home fries. My mom got the french toast. Definitely check this place out. They also do breakfast and lunch takeout orders. I recommend the Opa to go! YUM!
