Cafe UTEC

My company has used UTEC for catering lunches and I was content with what was received. By patronizing UTEC you are provided jobs for young people and supporting an amazing organization.

Great food, great service, reasonable prices. They have very good options for sandwiches, soups, salads and snacks. The staff is happier to see you than you are to finally get some good food in your stomach, so that is always pleasant when visiting this place.

Delicious. We took three of our children to eat here after a morning concert at Boarding House Park, and they loved it. The sandwiches and salads were delicious, and the environment clean and inspiring. the staff is super friendly, and were awesome with the kids. We will definitely continue to eat here.

Great food, friendly staff, excellent prices. Chef is the former chef of Flora in Arlington — and he brings all his skill with him. This is a fantastic casual lunch choice and helps support a noble cause as well.

Supremely friendly staff! Delicious food! A bargain! A very refreshing take on lemonade! The line was long but they moved through it very quickly. Afterward, several people asked if everything was to my liking which was very attentive of them! I will definitely be back again to order the eggplant panini. This is a lovely lunch spot.

I spent a couple hours at Café UTEC on Thursday having meetings and chowing down. It was a great place to sit and chat with friends. I loved the flavoring on the tofu for the tofu Banh Mi and the ginger lemonade was incredible! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was completely enjoyable. The staff was friendly and upbeat and every song that came on was full of life and positivity too!
Even more than the café, I am a huge fan of UTEC’s catering! I used them to cater a small brunch the day before my wedding back in June. I had a friend pick the food up, and was incredibly impressed with the presentation. Everything was packaged so it was ready to open and serve. The muffins and quick breads were delicious and the Asian salad was fantastic! I used a different caterer (in CT) for an event the day before, paid much more, and was disappointed with the quality in comparison to UTEC. I would highly recommend UTEC’s catering! They do a fantastic job at competitive prices, not to mention your money does double duty supporting the work of a great organization.

What a fun, funky place to eat. Delicious food, delightful service, friendly staff and patrons, industrial-​hip place to eat and gather.

I have yet to meet something I have not liked. The food is artful and delicious. The staff is friendly and professional. The environment is warm, inviting and inspiring.

I work close to here and started going over for lunch a couple months ago and have become hooked. Excellent food and service. Shirley, who always seems to be busy over-​seeing the café is super friendly and attentive. Each time I have been in, she has greeted me with a smile and a hello. She now calls me by name and knows what I want to order before I do. She remembers if I forgot to have my frequent buyer card stamped the day before! Even I don’t remember that. Her customer service skills are off the charts and it’s a pleasure seeing her there. That also goes for everyone else working there — everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is so good! My favorites are the salads and veggie chili. They have this roasted vegetable and quinoa salad with feta cheese and cider mustard dressing on special right now and it’s out of this world! Can’t stop, won’t stop until they take it off the menu. The atmosphere is great and is a very cool and relaxing place to take a load off and sit for lunch. Go there!

Excellent food, friendly customer service, definitely something unique that separates them from the rest of the lunch places in the area. Their sandwiches are delicious (eggplant panini, Bánh mì, grilled cheese and their specials are always awesome… I have a Thanksgiving sandwich that was delicious). Haven’t tried a salad yet. They also have Vietnamese iced coffee which is tasty, but their Ginger Lemonade is insanely good and very addicting with its sweet refreshing taste and just a slight ginger kick. I wish I could buy it by the gallon.

What a fantastic lunch destination! My young daughter and I love going to Café UTEC for a fast and fresh lunch. The service is always great with super friendly counter service. The thing I love most is having several vegetarian options to choose from. I can’t wait to see how they evolve.

Soup is always different. January’s tomato is the best of its kind with a delicious roasted flavor! Sandwiches are delicious, made to order, and the friendly staff was helpful when I wanted to customize mine. Also love the ginger lemonade. Music is always upbeat! And all proceeds benefit UTEC’s youth development programming, which is delicious in and of itself.

This is a café run by UTEC, they have excellent veggie chili and fresh salads. Special salads and soup daily.
The hours are limited as its run by the program. Monday through Thursday lunch hours. 11 – 3 I believe?

Great food and atmosphere! Standouts are the vegetarian chili and the ginger lemonade, but so far everything I’ve tried has been good.
