Foodwise: A+, everything here is excellent(even addicting). I love the whole darn menu. However the way they run thing at Zupas leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It doesn’t really feel like a value to me anymore. They are obsessively concerned about portions, which are fairly chintzy at times. 1.29 for 2 croutons? Em, no thanks. I also feel like I am under interrogation as they push and pull you down the counter as fast as they possibly can. Granted, they are very personable to talk to, their policies and cheepness bum me out. I also like my salads with more than 5 dices of tomatoes on it.

I like that they call me Miss instead of Ma’am, and the men Sir. Very respectful. The employees were helpful. The food was good. It’s difficult to find(tucked behind several other stores and restaurants). Tables outside hadn’t been cleared.

I felt there was great customer service. Everyone was nice. Maybe a little pricey. But a good change over traditional fast food. Passed on dessert. so far.. But they still put a yummy choco dipped strawberry on my tray. mmm… And im considering a salad to go for later. But getting full so maybe save that for another time.

If you are looking for something for lunch, this is probably a good place and I suspect it moves quickly during their busy hours. We went late at night and it felt like there were too many people behind the counter and not enough to do. Our order got moved ahead of the customer ahead of us because there didn’t seem to be any obvious rhyme or reason to the movements behind the counter. The staff seemed more distracted with talking to each other than doing their jobs. I ordered the tomato basil soup and wasn’t happy as my soup had a distinct fishy flavor. My sandwich was the ultimate grilled cheese and while it could have been on the griddle for a little bit longer to completely melt the cheese, the flavor was nice. My dining companion was pleased with his meal. The cheesecake we shared for dessert was decent. I probably won’t come back, but it was good for a long drive home.

Watched the cooks make my sandwich. Watched the person in front of me who was ordering take out tell the cashier that she, too would like the same sandwich. Watched in AWE as the rookie cashier gave my sandwich to the woman in front of me and then ask me to wait while they made me another one. Unbelievable. Portions are small. Food quality is below average. Good luck.

Over priced bad service. By the time you get your food it is soggy. Hot sandwich was no longer hot when I got it. The bread was soggy.

The food is good, but the staff was not the best. They were young, and too busy giggling about something to listen to my order. They got my order wrong, and barely looked at me the entire time I was in there. It may just be those staff members that were on, but it was not the most positive experience.

I really dig this place. The food isn’t fantastic, and it probably comes primarily from factory farms and industrial food processors, but it’s still much fresher and healthier than other fast food joints. For around $ 10, you can get the«try 2 combo,» with consists of your choice of any 2 sandwiches, soups, or salads. It’s a satisfying, guiltless, fast, meal. They offer samples of the soup, so you can try before you buy. I highly recommend this, as some of their soups are WAY over-salted. The service at Zupas is awesome. They’re super friendly and they even clean up after you. There’s an iPod station, with charging docks and video screens so you can interact with your electronics while you eat. I take out-of-town colleagues here all the time, and they love it.

Eh … catered food. It was pretty average. The salad was decent, but not that flavorful. The sandwiches had an off-putting mayo-mustard, and the meat wasn’t really fresh. The cookie was sad; what I make as a «Magic Cookie Bar,» but this was anything BUT magic. It was dense and stale.

Very tasty! Sometimes there are longer lines but for good reason

When you feel like some good fresh healthy eating, this is your place! I had the turkey bacon avocado sandwich with half a strawberry harvest chicken salad. Both were outstanding!

I enjoyed soup & salad here. Service was good. I just talked to one employee at a time, in order. 69 cents to add a tablespoon of chopped onion seemed excessive, but I love onion, so I added it. Note that this location is closed on Sundays.

Ate here with my wife for the first time(at Café Zupas). Décor and design was refreshingly modern. Like the fact you can sit and charge your phone, smart idea playing to the millennials. Menu selection is decent and you get a lot of food for the money. Only thing that kept this from being 5 stars is one of the girls making the sandwiches had her hair all over the place. The other ladies had theirs in tight pony tails or braids. This is not something I normally notice but the one girls hair was SO different and it’s just unhygienic. Not saying they need hair nets but come on, have some pride!

I had great service here. The staff was all very friendly, attentive and very polite. It was busy as always but that’s just a testament to how good the food is. I’ve tried the majority of the sandwiches and soups on the menu and loved every one. I’ve only tried a couple of the salads but I did enjoy those as well. The food always has been made with fresh ingredients — which is one of the main reasons I am willing to spend a little more here than other places. The quality of the food is obvious. I’d say on average you’ll pay around $ 10 a person. This place can be very busy during peak meal hours. With how busy it can get if you want to dine in during normal lunch or dinner hours it could be difficult. I like to order for my wife while she goes searching for a table.

Great food and service always! My fiancé and I come here all the time, and we always have a good experience. I recommend the enchilada chili/cauliflower soup mix.

I was a little disappointed with the service walking down the line… until I got to the cashier at the time Eric. This review would have been 2.5 stars on service if it weren’t for him. He was so attentive and friendly. He should get promoted in my opinion. The food was good. The ultimate grilled cheese paninni was delicious. Although mushrooms would make it perfect! Love that they have kale for the salads now! Seriously though, I can’t get past how unfriendly the rest of the staff were. I’ll have to come back and update my review if the service improves.

I haven’t had the bad service experiences of others, but the food is great. Everything is fresh and there are tons of options. I have been here 3 times in the past week and can’t wait for my next visit. The strawberry chicken harvest salad is the best!

Really disappointed in the menu changes to their salads specifically. I had been here in months, and returned for lunch today to be fairly dissatisfied with my food. My enchilada chili soup is always amazing, and I hope to God they don’t get rid of it because I’ll stop going there. However, my salad was not really that great. I used to get the Yucatan Chipotle Chicken salad that has now been replaced with some other chipotle chicken with lots of random things now included. You don’t get much chicken, and the price isn’t that great of value. Zupas used to be a lot more value. The other thing that bothers me is they don’t keep your food in order as you walk down a line. Some how the salad two people behind you ends up in front of your order and the employees are constantly having to ask what you ordered. Which I find rather annoying to continually have to say what I got to every employee. And when I say no to dessert, please don’t ask me again.

I WASFOODPOISONEDHERE in November of 2014. Came here with a large group and ordered the PULLEDPORKSANDWICH. If anyone has ever had pork poisoning– bless your soul. It is the worst food poisoning one will ever go through. You get an extended stomach and hideous belches and gross diarrhea for about a a week. I have filed a food poison complaint with the SALTLAKEHEALTHDEPARTMENT over this incident. Seriously.

Terrible service. Half of the top of my sandwich was missing(the bread). I semi-joked and pointed it out to the girl serving me saying«looks like someone already took a bite». She said«it probably just tore off» and left it that way.
