Been here twice in the last 10 days wanting ribs and they have been completely out of ribs. Once was a Saturday at noon. A barbecue place without any barbecue. Not good

Great food here… Fast and friendly staff. Look for coupons online to score a good deal! :) For some reason I have been to Dickeys more out of state than in state.

So disappointed. Our food was ready in minutes because I think it was prepared and sat at the counter for a while. It was not hot. I ordered the onion rings and waffle fries as my side and that’s the only thing that took a while because it was made hot and fresh. The only thing I liked. I was so hungry, but it ruined my appetite and I didn’t finish it. Not happy.

Improved since last time, much cleaner. Very friendly staff and food was fresh. I’ve been yup a Dickies in 4 states and pretty consistent product. Second time their free ice cream machine didn’t work… how convenient. May want to fix it for your customers seeing how you advertise free ice cream.

This one must be a newer location, I guess… very, very moderate patronage. A lot of the drink selections were not functional and this is the first location I’ve seen that does not have Coke Zero on tap. They did have $ 1 pies, exactly zero of which were worth that dollar. Probably the Boston or Chocolate Cream came closest, but the pumpkin in particular was a travesty and the rest… if you like those pie pocket things you get at gas stations or the grocery stores, you know the ones, iced completely over in that gloppy hardened white frosting, you might like these… also, take a moment to consider going to a doctor to see how your burned-to-charcoal taste buds might conceivably be restored. As to the rest, pulled pork was decent, with some bits of the bark that made the thing just sing. Ribs were junk, completely overcooked and more akin to jerky than actual ribs. Beans were served lukewarm(thanks?) and were the wrong ones. Okra was solid, but then again, it always is. This is definitely on the lower tier of Dickey’s and if I keep running into too many more of these, it may make me reconsider this franchise. When they’re on, they’re on and potential competition for the best Q(and sometimes best restaurant overall) in a given city, but it always takes effort… even at their most phoned-in, they’re still better than the other rib franchise that comes to mind, but this is the latest location that makes me wonder if they’re not scaling up too fast…

This Dickey’s has the best customer service. Every time we go there the employees are so nice and helpful.

Worst barbecue I’ve ever had. If you aren’t an experienced barbecue eater, then I could see how they may fool your tastebuds, but one can cut right through it and tell that this chain lacks what makes barbecue great, and just does an ok job. The meat was entirely lacking in flavor, but their sides are good. The sweet tea is alright too. A ‘cue joint should be all about its meat, but these restaurants definitely are not. Their pricing for what you get isn’t very good either.

I have been here many times. I’m not a big fan. The sides aren’t very warm when served. The beans are way over cooked. There’s room for improvement here.

Mediocre. Im from Texas and I love BBQ, especially brisket, but 2 out of 3 times I’ve been here their brisket was extremely fatty, and I just can’t stomach it, and when it’s all chopped up, there’s nothing you can do about it, except not eat it, which is exactly what I did. Don’t get the salad as a side. Biggest rip off ever!

Decent BBQ at a decent price. I phoned in an order on a Sunday(because kids eat free!), and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. The guy working was so friendly and made sure that our order was exactly what we ordered before we left. Which was nice because it seems like most to go orders are always messed up. Now the food, it was pretty good. Nothing amazing but still good. I had the ribs and sliced brisket. Not sure why they called it sliced since it’s not sliced. It’s more like a big chunk of pulled brisket. I tried all of the different BBQ sauces(original, sweet and spicy) and meh. Not that good. At first we thought it was the meat, but when we tried it with Famous Dave’s BBQ sauce it was so much better! For sides we tried: Mac and cheese(decent), potato salad(gross), BBQ beans(not bad), waffle fries(delicious!) and fried onion strings(so good). I would definitely go back and eat there again.

This was my second visit to this location and my experiences were similar. The BBQ is good food and amongst the best of the«chains.» Prepped fresh in front of you and tasty sides. The. «Big yellow cup» is nice and reusable. The ice cream is a nice touch if you can spare the room. This location has been dirty on both visits. I got there right at open today and there was a lot of waste on the floor, drink prep counter was dirty an unkempt. Ice cream cones were laying on the counter and the trashes were giving off an odor like they weren’t dumped last night. Good food but the cleanliness needs improvement.

I was here on Sunday with my family to take advantage of their kids eat free deal. The food came out quick and it was pretty good given I got one free meal for my kid and free ice cream. The food itself was not bad at all, although wife told me their beef sandwich was a little dry.

If you’re pregnant, they have free ice cream and pickles, so they have that going for them. If you’re not pregnant, well… er…uhm…

I was very disappointed with the quality and flavor if their food. I got the rib special and I couldn’t finish it or the sides.

The meat has good flavor, but more often than not it is dry. I mainly go for the fried okra, which is always handed to me hot and fresh! Aside from Cracker Barrel in Springville, this is the only place I know of in the area to get okra!

Dickeys Barbecue Pit always hits the spot. Great lunch place that offers quick, friendly service and great barbecue. Don’t forget to grab your complimentary ice cream after dinner. My friend came up with what I thought was a brilliant idea. Put some ice cream in that big yellow cup and top it off with rootbeer for a rootbeer freeze to go! And I can’t figure out why I’m 20 lbs overweight?

Traveling from out of state so I came here with some co-workers. I got the rib plate special with 3 ribs, waffle cut fries and Mac n cheese the other day I got the Smokehouse Salad and it was all great, their daily special is the best value. I just found out that there’s Dickies near my house so I will be going there soon.

It sounded really good because I was starving, but I ended up eating ice cream. The prices they charge for canned food is outrageous. The ribs are an insult to actual ribs… my husband calls them«fibs» because he swears they aren’t real. I was excited because I’m craving bbq anything all the time being pregnant, but this was a huge turn off.

I decided to give Dickey’s a try tonight on a whim. I got the managers special which included 3 meats, 2 sides and a drink for the same price as the 2 meat deal. I got the turkey, pulled pork &TX brisket, and all the meats were really good, but going back, I would have to stick with the TX Brisket. You can really get the whole BBQ experience. Smokey wood and a touch spicy in tender beef; it’s really good. The mashed potatoes are among the better potatoes around and the rolls are buttery good. Will be going back. As far as the service, I went in, was greeted right away, got my food and was out the door. Maybe they have stepped up the service dept. based on the reviews here because I had good service.

We went to the new Dickeys in Draper near Harmon’s. We were not impressed with the high school age staff lacking customer service. One of the employees was sitting on the counter that they were serving food while we were waiting in line. It seemed that all of the meat was pre-made, and wrapped in plastic which leads me to believe it is sent to the restaurant frozen. The ribs were sealed in plastic. The chopped items on the menu were low quality. Small portions for the price. At least $ 11 per person, and not worth it. Save your time and appetite and explore other BBQ places.
