Doc Bresler’s Cavity Busters

The customer service here is subpar at best. It just took me 15 minutes being put on hold 6 different times to TRY to make an appointment. They are consistently booked so far out because everyone knows their name, but that’s all it really is. A known name. Not a great dentist.

They seem to do a good job of making my daughter comfortable at this practice. We have never had to wait more than five minutes past the appointment time. My daughter always leaves with a handful of stickers and junk toys that she abandons in the car on the drive home (they are a distraction.) They’re relatively good about giving us appointments at reasonable times, and I think my daughter is receiving competent dental care.
But…the waiting room is always noisy with some kids movie on, it smells like the pizza joint next door, and if (god forbid) you call for an appointment and end up on hold, they have the most obnoxious «please wait» recording I have ever experienced. It alternates between dental care hints, bad imitations of cartoon characters talking about the practice (as if the people calling for the appointments are five years old) and occasional pedantic lecture segments, interspersed with the occasional «your call will be answered in the order…» with large variations in volume, the terrible cartoon character imitations being the loudest (of course.) I admit that I’m venting a bit, but it is NOT what you want to subject your co-​workers to when you put it on speaker so you don’t have to pay too much attention. It always makes me long for my own dentist’s «Kenny G. ‘s Greatest Hits» hold recording, and long for the day my own kid doesn’t want to go to a «kid’s dentist» anymore.
