My daughter and I went for lunch. They had no gluten free soy sauce soy we went to a local grocery store and returned. Waitress was very curt. We asked for chicken corn soup since that was the only gluten free soup. They seemed to do is a favor charging us and additional 1.50 for a cup. When we asked for white rice to take home to finish our leftovers. They charged us for the white rice. When I asked them to remove the charge for rice. They grapped the bag with the leftovers out of my daughters hands. They were very unprofessional. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

I walked in and placed my order to go. Ordered the #14 General Tso. Very fast getting my food to me. I prob missed the note but take out lunch does not include soup :(The food is very tasty and I’ll be going back to try it again. I’ll prob dine in so I can get my egg drop soup.

We’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always been a little pricey but this time the food was terrible. I don’t know if they had someone new in the kitchen but the sweet and sour chicken was borderline inedible. Not sure I’ll be going back, especially for their prices.

The orange chicken, advertised as «tender» and«crispy», was old, chewy, and mostly soggy. Gross, really. Lousy service too, never saw the waitress after the food was dropped off, until it was time to pay.

Great flavor and extremely tender/well cooked meat, but the portion was a little small and the spices weren’t well mixed throughly into the dish(clumps of spice in the noodles) Service was okay, not great.

This place has good Chinese food! Being an Asian myself, I like that the food isn’t greasy, fatty, and doesn’t make you feel like crap after. A few people from my work order here on a weekly basis and love it. I got the sesame chicken lunch special. Delicious. I love that they have the containers to separate the meat and rice. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.

The food is good here. Have gotten take out and have ate in a few times. A bit pricey, but overall a decent place for Chinese food.

The food from Jade Garden is good quality, but generic American Chinese. It is located in a ugly strip mall. The décor inside is certainly above average for an inexpensive Chinese restaurant. It’s nothing like the linoleum floor and greasy window type of place. It seems busy enough that to alleviate fears of getting week-old food.

I have not eaten here for dinner and would never do sushi at a Chinese restaurant. This review is only for their lunch special menu, which ranges from $ 6 to $ 10 a dish. Their lunch special menu is lengthy and each dish comes with fried rice or brown rice. Their side soups(e.g., wonton, sweet and sour, etc.) are not the greatest so just get the lunch special dishes. You can get the typical Chinese dishes such as shrimp with honey walnut(see pic), to chicken, lamb, beef, or even tofu for the vegetarian. The serving size is reasonable for one person. Good lunch spot for Chinese«American» food. I have been here numerous times for lunch since it is located near the office. Four stars for great service, decent food at super reasonable rates — for lunch. And you get a free fortune from the fortune cookie! Although my last fortune was not really a fortune at all: «the shortest distance between two people is a smile».

I stopped in for a quick dinner with my wife on a Thursday night. I had the sushi and sashimi deluxe and she had chicken and broccoli with fried rice and egg roll. Her egg roll barely had anything inside, the shell had been wrapped about 5x and it was undercooked. Some of my sushi was ½ frozen and had a tough texture. I’m used to fish that melts in your mouth. I have had sushi rolls here before that were ok but the sashimi was not good. I never thought this place was anything above average but after this meal I won’t be back.

I’m happy I found this place! I was surprised they delivered to my area. But happy they do since they are much better than the only other delivery chinese place in the area. Great Lo mein, the fried rice could use less bean sprouts and could use some carrots, their egg rolls are delicious, as well. Delivery is on time and hot when it arrives!

There are much better Chinese options nearby. Food was just kind of bland. I like a little spice in my Chinese food, but even without the spices General Tzo’s was flavorless. Fried rice tasted like the only seasoning added was soy sauce, and there was hardly any meat in the won ton noodles.

Avoid this place at all costs. Ordered General Tso’s chicken and when I got home and took a bite, I had to spit it out because it was uncooked on the inside(see picture). I called to tell them about it and their excuse was that they used non-white meat chicken. Other reviews also state that it is common to receive uncooked meat from this horrible place.

I was craving Chinese food at work tonight. Not sure where to go, I looked on Unilocal and depended on my fellow Unilocaler’s. This is how I came across Jade Garden. I ordered a small order of BBQ ribs, and beef and broccoli combo with miso soup. I ordered a lot in hops to eat half tonight and the rest tomorrow night. Started with the Ribs. I took one bite and it was pink and chewy. It was easy to see and taste it was way undercooked. I then moved on to the«beef» with broccoli. It was more like meat at broccoli. I’m not entirely sure what kind of meat it was but I am fairly certain it was not«beef». The taste was something I can’t even explain. I just prayed I didn’t just eat horse or cat. After Spitting out whatever meat it was I figured I’d just eat the egg roll. I mean, how can one really mess an egg roll up? Well, this place found a way. The outside wasn’t crispy and the inside was bland. Zero taste. Everything went right into the trash. Including the $ 18 I spent on it. I will NEVER order from her again.

Got takeout. Food okay, probably sticking with other Chinese restaurant in Acme shopping center.

We had a really great meal tonight of sushi and chinese food. The wonton soup was really good, the broccoli and chicken… excellent. I got some sushi that was delish. I was quite pleased considering I haven’t had a good chinese dinner in about 20 yrs. I highly recommend them. The only thing I didn’t like was that they had a TV on… no sound but still on. I don’t know why restaurants do that!

We had to start looking for a new local Chinese Delivery/Takeout Restaurant after the one we had been going to changed hands and the quality went down. Jade Garden had good reviews and we’re on the borderline of being in their delivery range so we decided to give it a shot. I went to their website to look at the menu and found that they do online ordering. You log in, enter your order and select takeout or delivery. It’s really that simple. Considering it was our first time ordering from Jade Garden I decided to go over to Jade Garden and pickup the first order, quite honestly because I wanted to see how clean the restaurant was. It is actually a nice little restaurant with maybe a dozen tables and small sushi bar. We’ll have to give eating in a try in the future. For our initial order we decided to go with the basics. We started off with Hot & Sour soup which was easily the best Hot & Sour I’ve had since Wing Shui in NY. I can’t describe how happy I was that I found somewhere with really good Hot & Sour soup again. In all reality as long as the rest of the meal was passable I was going to be ordering from Jade Garden again. We also got an order of General Tso’s Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice. The General Tso’s was good and made with sliced chicken breast battered and fried instead of just little chunks of chicken that you usually get. The Fried Rice was good as well. So far so good. We’ll definitely be ordering from Jade Garden and trying out their other dishes. Keep up this level of quality and our search will be over quickly.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants and we feel really lucky to have it nearby. The ambiance is peaceful and the staff is both efficient and friendly. Take-out is lightening-fast and very accurate, whether you order on the phone or online. Sit-down service is quick without being«hurry up and eat and leave already». We strongly recommend the special house wonton(for two) — delicately flavored and so much better than anyone else’s standard wonton — with lots of perfectly-cooked shrimp, scallops and chicken. I don’t really like Chinese entrees(at any restaurant) so I don’t order them and can’t comment except to say that the Singapore noodles is good, but needs more seafood(as opposed to chicken and pork). My dining partner is always happy with what he orders(General Tso, Pepper Beef) and it’s cooked just right — not overdone. The sashimi is usually very good, as are the rolls. They have a small sushi bar, with a dedicated sushi chef but I’ve never seen anyone eating there — it looks like he mostly makes orders for the tables of for take-out, which is a shame, because he’s good at what he does.

We’ve ordered twice from Jade Garden within the last week. We rolled the dice and came up winners! Jade has very efficient phone order-taking. They are courteous and prompt. Their delivery service is wicked fast… even though we live just up the road about three miles. The menu offers traditional Chinese faire. Pretty much like Mexican restaurants. And, just like Mexican, you expect a level of comfort. Jade delivers in spades. The appetizers rock. For the entrees, we tried garlic pork, shrimp in black bean sauce, and kung pao chicken. All were hot and flavorful. The kung pao chicken really deserves props as for the first time ever, it was seasoned as requested. Nice and spicy. Kudos to Jade Garden!
