We absolutely loveeeee their pizza. Our favorite is the fire in the hole! We always end up ordering takeout for the most part but did eat their once as well. I really like their outside seating area.

Long, long wait with a medium crowd. French fries Soggy. Hamburger is small and nothing special. Service is horrible. The small hamburger with drink cost over $ 11.00. I could have eaten at a nice restaurant for this. This place is a strip center store front.

Not very impressed. Upon arrival we were greeted with very good customer service. The counter lady was very nice and attentive. Her clothes were pretty soiled, but that’s something to expect working at a pizza place. I must say we were very hungry, and that’s probably the only reason why we ate our food. Our burgers came out with ingredients that we had requested to be taken off(easy things like no tomatoes). One of my friends also got a pizza, this pie tasted like frozen pizza that was popped in the micro. The crust was tasteless and the sauce wasn’t good at all. The ketchup had an odd taste as well, like it had been sitting in the sun or maybe dilutted with some type of liquid. The worst thing as to have been the plates that we’re given to us. They looked as if they were never washed and had all types of food and debris on them. All in all, I do not recommend this place to any individual, unless your dog is a little hungry. Go the next block and hit Dairy Queen!

Great burgers and their homemade ranch dressing is fantastic with their crisp fries. Pizza is great too! Service is friendly and fast. It is a loud place when crowded, generally due to the number of kids and families. Great place to catch a game as well.

First time here and not too impressed. Saturday night and it’s a bit busy. Should be a good sign right? We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and two sodas, nothing too complicated. I was told it would take about 15 minutes for the pizza. Great! Just sit and wait. But we waited and waited and waited. By now I was thinking this pizza better be good! When it finally arrived I was vastly disappointed. It was average at best and seriously I am not that hard to please. I don’t know if I’ll return. Maybe for take out. Maybe.

Did not enjoy the pizza or the ambiance. Uncomfortable booths, loud, TVs everywhere and did I mention the pizza? They claim to have won blind taste tests for best in Austin but I did not enjoy it at all. Pizza Cave and Pieous are my picks.

Pretty much the worst pizza around. The crust is crunchy and flavorless. Sauce is mediocre. We only go because Pizza Cave takes forever even when no one is there. Domino’s is 10x better.

I personally made pizza in the NY and NJ area for 12 plus years. This is not good pizza. If you want a comparison of how good it’s not, go to your local supermarket and pick up a box of DiGiorno, Tombstone, or Freschetta brand frozen pizza and Hill Country Ranch would still be a distant second, maybe third or fourth. Save your money or order Domino’s, Pizza Hut, if you must. Maybe I’ll put up a Pizza shop close by.

Super burgers and super service! I treated my co-workers to lunch Friday and decided to order from HCRP. I ordered online through a third party and mentioned that I had a coupon. HCRP called me immediately and told me to cancel my order online(they wouldn’t honor my coupon). The very nice gentleman I spoke with already had my order going and saved me $ 20. And my co-workers were blown away by the burgers! Thank you HCRP!

Out of towner in Dripping Springs for a football game. Found this place online and enjoyed the Farmer John pizza. Random toppings that made for an exciting pizza. The different veggies, like the asparagus and the artichoke hearts, appeared fresh.

Where to start. I guess several years ago when they opened. They were awesome. Good service. Got the orders right. Served local brews etc. good food. Now. Orders messed up pretty much 75% of the time. Service is mediocre at best and now they are charging for a tiny cup of ranch, extra BBQ sauce and even for a cup of water. The service I can overlook because it’s not a waiter type restaurant. The nickel and dime crap when for me and my son it’s $ 25 to eat a small pizza and a sandwich is a bunch of crap and all it does is piss customers off. I’m a Dripping Springs resident and have been going here for years. But I’m on the verge of going across the street just because of the latest bs of nickel and diming customers. I’m a small business supporter and owner. I know how tough it can be. But it’s about efficiency not squeezing customers. If things are so bad that $.25 per customer is going to make or break, it’s time to think hard about the business model. 10⁄19 Update: Mark, I sent you a message. Feel free to email me at the address in the message and then we can speak. ~S

Horrible pizza. I could have walked in to HEB next door and spent my money on something better. Pizza looked like it was popped out of a microwave. I will never eat here again.

This review is for one item only — the cheesy breadsticks with marinara! Order the breadsticks, an extra side of the delicious chunky marinara sauce and take it to go. Take it to the nearby drinking establishment that serves beer and be a happy person!

What can I say; when chains like Domino’s and Pizza Hut cut you off because your not in a subdivision… Hill Country Ranch Pizzeria still delivers! Let me enlighten you whats happening in the Hays County dining scene for our future residents. Drippin’ has had a colorful past when it comes to restaurants. Most notable memories are from the folks willing to take a chance on my home town. HCR is no exception. They started with some crazy ass pizzas. Some of them still remain. Imagine a venison and alligator pie? While I stick to the basics for the most part HCR delivers on flavor. Caramelized onion and goat cheese is about as far as I will go… Now, if you made a escargot scampi pie with fresh basil… we might enter some serious negotiations. Can I talk you into some fresh bitter greens? My most recent visit highlighted our favorite Farmer John with splendid toppings like asparagus, pesto, and cashews. Add in the kids favorite and nourishment with a half cheese half pepperoni for the in-laws and we were extremely happy. Crust seems above and beyond their original offerings as well. From A-OK to near top of the ladder for Hill Country Ranch! Thanks for supporting the founders of Hays County. I do have a favor to ask; I never got one of those Crispy Clucker Pizzas… you may just have to make me one for ol’ times sake!

This place sucks. Wasting a space where a good restaurant should be and hopefully will be. When you charge people money for an Italian sub and then give them a few slices of ham and salami, black olives, and banana peppers all on a toasted HOTDOGBUN, I think it’s time to close up shop and do some serious reflecting on why these people cook food like they hate their customers. This seem like one bad business decision and unless they hold off on the apathy and start cooking with some love we should be seeing a change of the guard in that spot soon.

I find it difficult to enjoy anything when the tables around you still have the dirty plates, empty beer bottles and no employee cares to clean it up. Of course, running out of forks can be a problem but they didn’t seem to care about that either.

If you’re into cafeteria pizza then this is your place. The toppings were pretty fresh, but the crust! Oh, the crust! Listen to the people, the crust is that bad. I was dreading the leftovers, but I went with my instinct, the toaster. After toasting the pizza I found that the crust was actually not fully cooked through, because after toasting the pizza the crust actually turned golden brown and was crunchy. I’m not going to say that my experience got better, but I solved the mystery of the white crust — as I presumed store bought crust. Lame. I’ll stick to making my own pizza dough: 2 cups flour, 1 cup water, a packet of yeast, a few other ingredients, and time. Yes, time.

Massive disappointment… The Food We ordered the XL Meat Locker. They advertise it as a 16″ 10 slice pizza. We got a less than 14″(yes I measured it with a tape measure when we got home) with only 8 uneven slices. Does the advertised 16 inches include the box? Some slices were puny while the others were normal slices. Cut evenly it would’ve been 6 normal slices. Needless to say I feel cheated. The crust on the pizza which there’s a lot of, tasted stale. The meat locker is extremely salty. Their salad bar, which we did not try because we’re not suicidal, was tiny and looked abused. They had a sneeze guard over the condiments but it was lifted up so what’s the point of it? I’ve seen better salad bars at soup kitchens for the homeless. The Service Wow where do I start? Our pizza took about a half hour to come to us. The box they gave it to us in said Stout’s Pizza on it and had some weird stains on the top. Did we not get a pizza from Hill Country Ranch? Are they using recycled boxes from somewhere else? Nasty. The employees seem annoyed to be working there so good luck getting a friendly smile. Not that I can blame them either because the manager or owner was being a complete ass to one cashier right in front of us. I have no idea what he was giving the poor guy a hard time about but to do it in front of the customers? I could tell the employee felt awkward, as did we witnessing it all. Overall I get it that we’re in Dripping Springs, Texas and not Florence Italy but c’mon. At least serve what you advertise. Our supposed XL Meat Locker was about $ 20 which is extremely overpriced for what you get. Needless to say we will never come back here. Go next door to HEB and get a frozen $ 4 Digiorno. You’ll be much happier with it than the pizza at Hill Country Ranch, even if you eat it still frozen.
