Real strict and useless gamestop. Always been a customer for reserved games because it’s such a small business. I share a powerup rewards account with a friend and the day I pick up a game with a physical receipt they won’t sell it to me because my name is not the account holder. I provided all possible information such as address name of account holder and they still refuse to sell it. This never happened to me and I am extremely dissatisfied. Like come on Gamestop be more flexible with the rules and stop being a stickler. THISISWHYAMAZONISSTEALINGALLOFYOURBUSINESS.

I choose GameStop for a reason. The customer service. People like Angela make GameStop a great place to shop and be heard as a gamer. I could go to Best Buy or target or hundreds of other places but they just don’t have the knowledge and friendliness of Angela and people like her at my local GameStop. Their patience in dealing with countless people who all passionate and frantic for the new COD or fallout is amazing and people should realize that at times its is not an easy job. They listen to my issues and were courteous and provided me with options that lead to a satisfactory outcome. Not to mention just all around awesome to chat with. A great place and great people. Thank you for your help and time!

Worst experience ever I pre order a deluxe edition copy of destiny and they sold my copy. Instead they just gave me a digital copy of destiny worst experience ever. I tried giving GameStop one more chance but I rather go through Best buy now

Horrible! I went to this Game Stop in attempt to pre-order a game and the sign outside clearly said ‘OPEN’. When I tried to open the door, it was locked even though it was still business hours. One of the workers saw me and mouthed«we’re closed». As I was walking to my car the two workers leave the store– and they didn’t even close up! They left the lights inside the store on, including the bright OPEN sign that could be seen from across the street. I hope to go to another Game Stop tomorrow in attempt to look for better service.

For over five years the staff at this gamestop remained the same. They were friendly, knowledgable, and got to know the community and their customers. They did their job but they weren’t like the usually pushy, annoying gamestop employees that you see at other stores. The manager and assistance manager ran things incredibly well. However several years ago the manager left and the core team begun to change and move around. The store is no longer the same anymore. Generally the staff is friendly but they are no longer the warm and welcoming gamestop that I’ve grown to appreciate.

I tried to go here to return two games that I had ordered online from Gamestop(one didn’t work and the other had the wrong CD, which also didn’t work). When I arrived, the one salesman was on the phone and there was a couple already in line. At first, I thought the salesman was dealing with a quick and/or urgent phone call. For example, he did mention a couple times that their store had been«dead last» in some sort of rankings. However, it turned out that this was a personal call with a coworker that ended with them making plans to meet up with dinner sometime. After helping the couple that was already waiting in line, I explained my situation. The game that was broken wasn’t in stock at that store(which is OK… that’s what I was expecting), but I was told that I would have to call up the warehouse directly to deal with the game that was incorrectly mailed to me(to exchange for the game that I had actually ordered). When I went to the Glendale Galleria to exchange the game that simply didn’t work, they told me I not only could exchange the game with the wrong CD but I would exchange it for any item that was the same price! Luckily, I didn’t believe what I was told at this store in Duarte. Also, I was told that I couldn’t go to the Glendale Galleria to exchange the game that didn’t work and that I should go to the store in Pasadena. However, I don’t consider this a serious problem because I think Glendale was just slightly out of range for«close stores»(so, this would be a computer problem and not a customer service problem).

I had to stop for gas on Christmas Eve. Spawn-o-scandalous had called me earlier in the day: HE: Mommy please tell Santa I forgot a couple of things on the list. ME: Is that so? What was missing? HE: Boom Blox, Sonic Colors… ME: Sonic Colors?(having missed that this came out & working in gaming I was pretty shocked he knew it was out before I did… :insert proud nerd mom moment here:) HE: And Donkey Kong. (Truth be told: I nearly bought that one for him when I went Christmas shopping earlier in the week but didn’t. Shame on me for second guessing my kids awesome) Now I wasn’t going to stop at another Gamestop before Christmas… I had already gotten him his gifts but when I turned off for a gas station and saw that before I saw the gas station, I figured it might be a sign. And it was in a way. I got there just as they were about to close. And although I didn’t end up getting him everything he asked for, I did pick up a couple of things I figured we’d both enjoy anyway. Boom Blox, Super Paper Mario, and… buy 2 get 1 free? Beautiful. Beautiful Katamari that is. And a merry christmas was had. fore all of us were spoiled brats or something. I guess this means I’m a sucker or something. But if I’m going to be accused of being a sucker, at least I’ll be the mom the other kids wish they had too. Until he gets older and turns into an angsty artsy teenager and rebels or something… SOOO can’t wait for that!

came here on an impulse: searching for street fighter for ps3, trying to chase back my childhood memory. i walked in and saw the two very very nerdy staff. they didn’t look too friendly at first. about a minute later, one of them stopped me and asked what i was looking for. then he handed me a super street fighter 6. i was like, «but i just want street fighter though.» he was like«no one plays that anymore, this is the best street fighter game ever. coz all the characters have more equal powers so it really doesn’t matter which character you pick…» me: «ok…i guess i’ll get this one…» clerk: «yeah and if you’re really into fighting games, the new mortal combat is gonna come out next year and it’s gonna be the best fighting game ever!!» me: «oh, thanks.» seriously…very nerdy but friendly and helpful in their own nerdy ways.
