This place is a great idea. They have healthy grass tees and a pretty decent putting green. The problem is if it rains more then five min they shut down the outside aspect. And the mats they have to hit from are HORRIBLE. You are better to not practice then to hit from these mats. They either need to make an investment into better mats (because I do understand they don’t want to rip up the grass when it’s wet) or to make an investment into better drainage. Because I am throwing away 10 bucks when I go there and the outside is closed

Golf lessons by Mike Crotty. He has done great with my 8 year old. My son has learned a lot through his 6 week course and my husband and I are thinking about signing him up for more lessons!

Ables has replaced the oft mildew-​soaked putt-​putt carpets with new, brightly colored carpeting. It may not have windmills, dinosaurs and whales… but new clean red, yellow, blue and green putt-​putt greens are SEHR GUT! Very good.

As I beginner golfer, I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced driving range to help me develop a decent swing. I continually choose and highly recommend Ables Golf on Avery Rd. above other driving ranges in the area.

I’m not much of a golfer, but when I need to improve my swing the first place I go is Ables on Avery. J.R. Ables has become a good friend of mine over the years and has always been recognized as one of the best golf pros in Central Ohio.
Fortunately, Ables on Avery is open year round. Heaters are provided in the driving range for those avid golfers who are crazy enough to practice no matter what the weather is like. When the weather is warmer, you can bring the kids along with you to enjoy a rousing game of miniature golf.
Whether you’re a novice or a pro, you’ll find everything you need to improve your golf game at Ables on Avery. They are conveniently located between Hilliard and Dublin on Avery Rd (obviously). You’ll love the range, the golf pros and the price.
