I figured this brow bar needed a bit of an update. I came into ulta for a last min. brow appointment was immediately seated and taken care of. My benefit professional was friendly, attentive, and considerate. She did a quick and excellent job. Although I had great luck with my(basically walk in) appointment, it is advised that patrons make appointments ahead of time. Things to consider: Not every wax job will be a strict 10 – 15 min process. Some jobs take longer than others so if your appointment is at 4:15 and it’s not running exactly on time, please be aware that each client is cared for with great detail and attention. Be patient!

If I can give negative stars, I would. I am so frustrated and pissed off that I honestly don’t know where to begin. After my brow waxing experience today, I felt compelled to write a review(I am fully aware a review won’t make me feel any better). I naturally have full eyebrows and thin eyebrows are not for me nor do I ever want them. It has been months to a year since my last waxing session so I was due for one. I SPECIFICALLY told the girl I DONOT want thin eyebrows and all I wanted was it cleaned up a little bit. What do I see in the mirror after she was done!!! O_____O. PENCILTHINBROWS. OMG. AREYOUFREAKINKIDDINGME?! DIDYOUNOTUNDERSTANDME!!! At this point, I was beyond upset. I am NEVEREVER coming back here again. NEVER. I also told my girlfriends not to come here to get their brows waxed. Whoever is reading this should go elsewhere, too. Absolutely ridiculous! It is the worst brow waxing experience I’ve had in my entire life. I’m praying my brows grow back and I can’t wait until they are full again. Please pray for my brows too :’(.

I made an appointment for 12:20 to get my brows done at the Benefit Brow Bar. I normally go to the one in Macy’s, but I figured I would try Ulta this time. I was really disappointed. I was 5 minutes early and I wasn’t acknowledged until 12:30, ten minutes AFTER my appointment was supposed to start. When I was asked what time my appointment was(by a manager) when I said ’12:20′ she accused me of being late and that’s why they took a walk in. I was not late at all! So, aside from that remark. I continued to wait until the eyebrow stylist was finished with his customer. He asked me what time my appointment and i told him ‘about 10 – 15 minutes ago, at 12:20′. he then said ‘oh, okay… well… she’ll help you in a few minutes’. ‘She’ was another stylist who was not going to be done for several minutes. I made this appointment and drove all the way there(and wasted my gas) only to be ignored and pushed onto other people. I refuse to go back to Ulta, FORANYTHING. because of this customer service. or lack there of. I guess I learned my lesson and will continue to go to Macy’s from now on. OH, and I contacted corporate. and the district manager was supposed to get in contact with me. They never did. Another reason why I’ll never go back.

I have always loved going to ulta, never had a problem with customer service… Until today. I decided to have my eyebrows done at the benefit brow bar, an employee named Gaby said she could take me. This was a HUGE mistake. This was absolutely the worst experience EVER. My eyebrows are two different shapes, one is now thicker than the other, and one has a very noticeable gap where she left no hair. All I asked for was a clean up and she left me with barely any hair. I spoke to a manager and there was nothing she could do. I had to pay for the service. All she offered was a free«fix it» in a few weeks. Why would I ever want to go back to that brow bar?!? Gaby should not be allowed to be near anyone’s eyebrows, or tweezers/wax for that matter.

There is plenty of parking. Also, it is within walking distance to coffee, which is always nice. However, I had my eyebrows waxed here and that was a huge, huge mistake. It literally took months for the redness to completely fade. I don’t know what happened, if the wax burned or what but I’ve never experienced that anywhere else.
