I’ve been here a few times off and on over the years. The last few times I’ve been disappointed. They don’t have much in the way of kitchen supplies– certainly not enough to equip a business. It’d be useful for a party or potluck, or maybe for a large family. A fair amount of bulk foods, and some things you can’t get elsewhere. But prices aren’t super low; in fact, some are high. $ 1.79 for a 2-​liter? Big bags of chips, at big prices. If you want a vat of mayo, or a case of burgers, you can get a reasonable deal. But it’s usually not worth my time.
It’s clean, and well-​organized, and service is good. So there’s that.

How would I have ever known that every food serving item you’d ever need — along with supplies to actually make said item — were at a place called Gordon Food Supply?!
I — like many — had always thought this place was for restaurant owners or caterers. I’ve seen the GFS boxes in all kinds of restaurants including the ones I worked for.
When I couldn’t find soufflé cups at the nearby party store, they directed me here and bam. There they were. Along with dozens of other sizes of serving cups as well.
The options are seemingly endless when it comes to serving utensils here. So if you think it… er, make it… you can serve it — with supplies from here.
I need to stock up on their cookie dough TUBS!
