I can’t believe I just found out that they closed this location down but it was hard to find so the location and not the food and drinks were the problem. Awesome margaritas!!!

We love this place. We come to this one when ever we get a chance. Their vegetarian burrito is fabulous. They have the best salsa and cheese con queso in town. The chips are not salty either. Service is pretty good and rarely is there a wait.

Just moved to Dublin and hubby was hankering for Mexican so gave this another try. Much better this time. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and the food came quickly. My husband ordered a combo platter which he enjoyed. He also enjoyed his Marguerita. I had qthe Arroz con Pollo and will come back to have it again. Glad we gave them another chance.

My only complaint was the portion size. I ordered the fajita and you would think you would be able to make 3 – 4 portions. However, the amount of meat only produced 2 portions. I order fajitas all the time, and usually the meat is loaded on any other Mexican joint. However, I do like the restaurant overall, the food was good(just not enough of it), prices were ok, service is great, and decent atmosphere.

An utter joke. I called and made a reservation for 15 on the patio. I frequent the place and know quite a few servers and kitchen staff. I even asked to speak to a server that knows me and would know what I was trying to accomplish. When I arrived, I saw my table was not set up and asked my server friend if I could just do it. He said yes. 4 different people came out and told me they do not take reservations for more than 6 outside. Someone took my reservation on the phone, and I had 15 people en route to the place. They were incredibly rude and I finally said, «Do you want us to leave then?» They said no. They even called the manager about the situation and still kept saying«we cannot take a reservation for more than 6.» I was completely respectful, however this was your error — not mine. I get your policy of no more than 6 and trust me we certainly won’t do it again, however you took the reservation. Period. I purposely make these group events on Monday /Tuesday when it is not busy. By the way — the patio never did fill up. Thank you for nothing Las Margaritas — sorry I brought you 15 women that had 2 – 3 margaritas each. My bad. The food has no flavor anyway, but it was(previously) a fun place to hang.

Yet another one of the many paint-by-numbers«menus with numbers» Mexican restaurants in the area. The décor is decent enough, and is at least more interesting to look at than your average place. My wife enjoys the salsa, but the menu is full of watered down, Americanized dishes — tasteless rice and beans, bland tamales(a personal disappointment given how much I love good ones) and stringy fajita meat. If you’re looking for alcohol, chips and salsa, it’s totally fine.

It sucked. The fish tacos were deep fried and burnt. The sever never came and checked in on us and I definitely never coming back here.

Here’s another«Meh» review for this place. Coworkers met here for Happy Hour(see my photo). I decided to try one of their new menu items: Lime Chicken Salad for $ 9.49. Sounded good; something new, right? A flour tortilla bowl(stale) with lettuce(chunky iceberg) topped with shredded grilled lime chicken(dry), corn, cilantro, and pineapple salsa with honey lime dressing(all too sweet.) It’s been a while since I’ve been that disappointed but you have to ask me, Matt, why a salad in such a place? I don’t know :’( The salsa with the chips is blended, not chopped. A lot of cilantro, which I love. They also have what they call«taco truck tacos» on the new fall menu. They looked okay. Not as fresh or authentic as, well, actual taco truck tacos. Radishes – where were the radishes??? Where’s my lengua? All other plates around me were the typical red, yellow and brown hues. BTW, they have Bohemia beer in bottles but it’s not on the menu. This is a Pilsner I prefer to get in these type of establishments(if they have it.) With it being a Pilsner it has a slight hoppiness to it – lighter than most but more than Pacifico. Don’t let them pollute it with lime! Get a glass. Sorry, digressing again… Service was very friendly and fast. Large place with ample parking. Great for groups.

With so many authentic Mexican places why go to this Americanized-Mexican place? The waitress could use some work. I’ve never waited so long for a refill. The décor is festive via American eyes– but this is your standard Chi, Chi’s, Don Pablos style place. It’s so close to home — I occasionally find myself here & regretting it every single friggin time.

Quesadillas and Margaritas yes! I have been to Las margaritas here and the now closed kingsdale location(sadface) and usually enjoy their food. I order the same thing all the time: blue margarita and quesadillas. Consistently good and the drinks are strong. The queso dip is also very tasty with a touch of heat.

With a high ceiling, fun décor like jarritos soda crates and authentic signage, it’s a bit of uniqueness in Dublin. Squatting in a corner of a Dublin shopping center, it’s easy to glaze over this spot, but it’s worth a shot. Nothing terribly good or bad about the menu — I found it to have your typical large Mexican food menu, solid favorites like combos, fajitas, etc. My office has had good experience bringing groups(~10 ppl) with reservations. Service was speedy-ish and they split checks without a fuss. Husband reports less success but doesn’t usually make reservations for groups of around 6 – 7, so that may be the difference. My dad ordered their Grand Marnier margarita, and he was about on the ground after it. Large and in charge, there must be a reason they named their restaurant after the beverage. Keep wanting to check out the happy hour scene, it looks like they have a good bar.

Alright, the décor here is really festive. The 4 sided fireplace in the center of the restaurant was really cool. But I wish I could rave about the food too :( The service was really really really slow. We waited for an unusually long time for our drink orders to be taken. Then we waited even longer for the drinks to come out. Their frozen drinks are all clearly made from a pre-made mix. Which I guess is ok, but they weren’t very strong. The chips & salsa are ok. The chips were very hot & fresh. However we all remarked at how bland the dinners were. Several of us had fajitas and we all agreed there was no flavor and the meat was dry & gristley. The kids didn’t eat much of their food either. Then we waited for forever for the server to come back out so we could ASK him for the bill, then we had to wait for the bill and boxes to go. Half our party was gone, tired of waiting, by the time everyone was done. And we really weren’t a large party, 10 people, 4 of which were kids!

Really bad. I wanted to leave after tasting the chips and«salsa.» The salsa was tomato sauce from a can. The chips were greasy and burnt, old and stale. The waitress came over to take our drink order and the cleaning lady stood between her and our table and vacuumed. Not kidding. She vacuumed all around our waitress. We got our cokes, mine tasted funny, probably just a dirty glass. I ordered the Especialidad de Monterrey, even though the menu spelled it Monterey, which is a wonderful place, but I don’t think it’s known for it’s Mexican food. My wife ordered fish tacos, something usually hard to mess up… My daughter ordered chicken nuggets and fries off the kids menu. The food arrived fast and hot. To get napkins and silverware all we had to do was ask. My food was a surreal junkyard of what looked like food from a bad Mexican restaurant. A layer of those stale chips and then a spoon of canned beans over on the left, a dribble of that white tasteless queso mention in an earlier bad review, I dug up a clump of yellowish rice over under a half chip on the right, I hope it was yellow from having been near a chicken broth but the clump was tasteless anyway. My wife told me to stop eating and send it back, but I kept discovering things, I felt like Indiana Jones in the Temple of Lost Nachos. There was a decent tamale, with some decent barbacoa — spicy shredded beef and two dried over fried greasy burrito type husks with bland chicken inside, some burnt to coal. I might have enjoyed the tamale but the top layer of old warm sour lettuce and drain catch guacamole kinda ruined the already nasty plate of junk. The sour cream was good. So I sat, disappointed, it had been my idea to try them again. My wife was doing ok with her fish tacos and bean tortillas and offered me a few bites. The canned beans were inedible, I had to spit them out like an amateur Gordon Ramsay. We’ve had canned beans at home and their ok, but these canned beans must have sat around a few days and been reused, they were funky. And then the fish tacos. You ever tried to save a buck and buy a bag of frozen tilapia? I have. It’s hard to cook. And if your not a good cook you might try putting a frozen fillet into a hot oiled pan and hope for the best. The result was what we had for lunch today. Cooked hard and crunchy dried fish fillet as thin as a cracker. My wife knew someone who worked there so I had to just sign the check and bolt out of there. Horrible service, horrible food, no love for cooking, everything frozen, canned and left over from other meals.

My last visit here involved quite possibly the worst waitressing that I have ever experienced. I was here on a lunch break from work, which was pretty obvious by my dress and name badge. We had advised the waitress, in a polite manner, that we were in a hurry as well. My total time spent here was close to two hours and not by choice. It literally took 15 minutes from greeting to taking our order and another 15 minutes from dropping off our check, to coming back and collecting it. Then it took even more time to return with the receipt. Everything just took so long! I was this close to finding a manager so I could just get out of there. The worst part was that it wasn’t busy at all. There were a few tables around us and plenty of staff. She was not only slow, but she was lackadaisical and detached and never once apologized for the delay in service. The food went downhill from last time I was here as well. Portions got smaller and felt like less quality. I am seriously considering never returning here.

Mehh… I guess this just your average Americanized-Mexican place. Which is fine. We ate on the patio and for whatever reason the experience was extremely bizarre. First, there were a bunch of children running absolutely amok(amok! amok! amok!). I guess Mondays have some kind of kids’ special. So, either avoid or embrace knowing that, I guess. The parents were not controling this separate table of kids ATALL, and instead were drinking margs straight from the pitcher and generally leaving their vile offspring to annoy everyone else. Then, two ladies having«girls’ night» were talking so loudly and annoyingly, it’s no wonder they were complaining so much about being single despite best efforts. Service was a bit weird. Our server seemed really detached. Can’t blame her, with these people she has to serve. As for the food, I ordered the«La Favorita» platter with three items(an enchilada, taco? Something??? I don’t know, it’s all the same thing in mildly different formats). Each item came with a different meat. The chicken and ground beef were forgettable at best, but I actually really enjoyed the beef tips. They were tender with just enough sauce. The whole thing was burried under a giant pile of shredded iceburg lettuce. I couldn’t even see my food, let alone remember it. It almost made me feel like the food was being hidden. Worst. Presentation. Ever. My dining buddy’s enchiladas were stingy on the sauce, and looked dry. I tried a few bites… just kinda plain and meh. The chips tasted fresh, but the salsa was thin and plain. I suppose the clientele aren’t the business’s fault, it just really reminds me why I don’t really like eating dinner in the ‘burbs unless there’s some special attribute. I dunno, the whole thing made me feel like I was on another planet or in an alternate universe. I guess that’s what you call«the Suburbs.» Not worth going back.

Went here and it was a disaster. It was the lunchtime rush so it was loud, could barely hear my ex’s banter. The waitress was cheery, but VERY slow. It seemed that she was not a waitress long, because even though we said we were in a rush she took her time getting to us. Food was– meh. I had a quesidilla that was just a block of cheese in a corner(smaller than a square of Velveta) and a hunk of meat in the opposite corner. Rice and beans and lettuce accompanied it. Flour tortilla was a little too crispy if you get my drift. Seeing how this was the last meal I had with my now ex, my opinion could totally be clouded over by the impending doom, but I do not think I will go back here. The service has been slow the 3 or 4 times I have been here(during all hours of the day). And I do not think the food was that great. Yeah, if you live in the area it is close… but I really would rather drive farther to get better service and food that tastes good!

I know Mexican food isn’t gourmet so I never have high expectations. I knew what I was getting in to. I’ve been here many, many times living in the Dublin area. It’s just something compelled me to write a review this time, so I decided to write one. I never write reviews unless something is fresh in my mind, no matter how many times I’ve been. Anyway, my neighbor and I went here tonight to split a couple pitchers of margaritas. The margaritas, by my standards, were on the weak side. Maybe it’s because they were in pitchers, I don’t know. I’ve had better. I will concede that the masses don’t necessarily like the taste of tequila and would prefer their margaritas on the weaker side so perhaps that’s how they do things here. We had chips and salsa with the margaritas. I thought the salsa had a «plain» taste. Just nothing much there – lacking something. Perhaps, freshness? Salt? Spice? I don’t know, but I’ve had better. I also thought the chips were overcooked, they had a slight burnt taste to them. We split the appetizer platter, which is pictured. This goes on my list of life’s disappointments. It sounded so yummy: cheese quesadilla, flautas, and beef & chicken nachos. The cheese quesadilla was just not edible. The cheese inside of it tasted processed – like white velveeta. The flautas were worse – I’m used to the nice crispy rolled things. These were not crisp, but wet – wet with oil. The nachos, meh, I don’t even know how to describe these. As a lover of nachos of all sorts, I was heartbroken. They were apparently covered in what was supposed to be queso sauce, but the sauce was so thin it literally had the consistency of skim milk, which is basically cloudy water. The cheese sauce also had no flavor. The chicken and beef on the nachos was not fresh nor did either taste good. I will say there were a couple good things to this experience. One was the atmosphere, I like the bar here. Although I will warn that the ESPN on the tv was NOT, despite being a flatscreen, in HD, so if you are used to watching TV in HD just be prepared to take a trip back to the late 90’s. The second was the company – I had fun with my friend despite the weak drinks and bad food. Good company can compensate for a bad meal, but it never makes the food taste better. I’d also like to note that when they say they are closing at 10PM they are literally closing at 10PM. Right when the clock changed the music shut off, lights were dimmed, and the bill was placed in front of us. The bartender was in such a hurry to get out that at 10:07 he offered us a gift certificate so we would leave to compensate for the margaritas left in our glass(about ½) we had to finish. It was a nice gesture, but when I tip at 25%(he had already collected the bill) you can and should stay until 10:10 while we finish our drinks. As soon as we hit the parking lot there was mass exodus of employees at approximately 10:10. I’ve never felt so rushed and pushed out of an establishment, and I’m a really nice guy people can’t get enough of. We just didn’t get it. Maybe you have to be a regular here to feel welcome. Just typing this review upsets me in so many ways. This place is a case of «good location and not another mexican restaurant nearby.» I go here purely out of convenience, and for no other reason. I’m sorry anyone has to read this. For good(as good as Mexican food gets) Mexican go to Cuco’s on Henderson road. The absolute best in town. Next time I go I’ll write a review if I’m in the mood.

This is a decent place to spend time with friends and drink margaritas. They have very tasty margaritas and they are a decent size. However, for the price, the food sucks. The cheese tastes like it came from a can and it’s pretty flavorless. The service can be so-so. Although our last waitress was pretty terrible. I ended up leaving a very lousy tip it was that terrible. I would only recommend this place if you want to hang out and drink some margaritas and eat some chips. I would never recommend this place for dinner or lunch. I can spend $ 10 on much tastier food.
