This newly renovated McDonald’s is awful. Fries were cold, chicken sandwich tasted like burnt rubber and they were like completely out of ketchup.

First impression was that it was clearly a remodeled store with new touch screen order stations. However, after watching 12 employees standing in the back«cooking,» I wondered why I came here to wait 20 minutes for a SMOOTHIE. When I asked where my smoothie was, I got the response, «Oh, I guess I’ll start making it.» We did see one guy try talking to the manager about his lack of action and delegation, but the manager didn’t seem like he cared. Apparently they just hand degrees out at Hamburger University because this manager had no idea how to run his store. Also, maybe it’s just me, but employees should NOT be allowed to wear grills in their mouths at their place of employment. It’s one thing if your store is busy, but I have no tolerance for employees standing there, having personal conversations, and then turning around and giving us attitude like WE’RE inconveniencing THEM. Another prime example of why fast food workers have no business making $ 15/hr.

I loose brain cells and money every time I come to this location!!! Ordering here is so frustrating… They NEVER get it right!!! Never… Ordered fresh coffee, her response«See if it’s fresh enough»!!! If you made a fresh pot of coffee suga then that should be fresh enough right??? But why give it to me in a cup leaking hot coffee??? Why is a coffee order so difficult!!! Why is there not a Dunkin Doughnuts here??? Uuuuuuugggggghhhh

This McDonald’s is located along I-16, about halfway between Atlanta and Savannah, at Exit 51(US441). This is a standalone old school McDonald’s. I stopped by on a Friday around lunchtime and the restaurant was busy. The locals like to come here. I saw plenty of families, retirees, and workers off on their lunch break. They love their McDonald’s in Dublin. When I use the phrase«old school,» I mean this location hasn’t updated its look to one of those contemporary McDonald’s. This place is classic in every way, including the playground for the kiddies and huge cutouts of 1950s Ford cars as décor. They do have free Wi-Fi, which is nice. I purchased one of my favorite combos here, the #1 Big Mac combo(large size @ $ 6.89). No complaints. Reliable, as most Mickey D locations usually are with this popular menu item. I also tried one of the Grilled Chicken & Bacon McWraps($ 3.99) and it was delicious and relatively more healthy. The sweet tea was yummy and flowing. Overall, store #5974 was a clean, functional, and locally well-liked McDonald’s.
