Such a bummer to write this bad review, but I was super disappointed when I came in on Father’s Day 2016. We came here before the movie bc I remembered the burger being really good, but this time it tasted awful. It was those pre made pattis you buy when you go camping. Not going back, especially when there’s a Fudrucker’s around the corner.

Love the down home cooking and the service was amazing. Chill atmosphere and the best southern food I’ve come across in the Dublin Pleasanton area! Five stars, will definitely come again!

Such a cute place with delicious food! Their orangeade is to die for! I prefer this to any other restaurants in the surrounding area.

Your typical slow food fast joint. I had the Southern fried chicken with mac n cheese and fries($ 11.99), and boy was it filling! Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either. Super fun place and definitely family friendly. Evidently their gumbo is the bomb, so I’ll have to try that if I find myself here again. Parents: if your child is a future Van Gogh, come here. Red Tractor displays your children’s drawings on the walls! :)

Red Tractor was fun and laid back, and the food was delicious. Country food is hard to come by in the area, so it was a welcome treat for my husband and I while we lived there. Raised in the Midwest, we occasionally like going back to our culinary roots for a good meatloaf or country fried steak.

Over priced but its yummy and being 8 months prego I feed my baby what he craves lol. I will be back. Staff are super nice and easy going I tool a while to order but the girl helping me had no problems with it stayed polite came back a few times when I told her I still didn’t know she started telling me her favorites so I went with a breakfast sandwich with egg sausage and cheese thank you for the great staff can’t remember the girls name but you are so awesome…

Unilocaled my way here on a Monday morning by myself and so glad I did! I’m not sure if this is a «chain» restaurant or not but if it is I wish there was one closer to where I live. I’m no stranger to eating out alone so I was ready and willing to do it once again at this casual spot. Friendly staff. I was offered a «frequent visitor» card or something like that, but I declined because I live 40 minutes away and figured it wouldn’t be of any use. After having tried their breakfast I second guessed myself because I could definitely see myself frequenting this place whenever I happen to be in the area. I ordered the farmer’s breakfast that included eggs, sausage, pancakes, biscuit and gravy, aaaaaand bottomless house coffee. Great choice for a first timer because it gave me a chance to try a little bit of each. It was good except I ordered my eggs over medium and they were done over easy, very easy… so I had egg soup. I understand that eggs can be tricky so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Their pancakes were my favorite. They smelled of cinnamon and a couple bites went perfect with my coffee. Someone at the table next to me ordered the chili and I sure hope it tasted as amazing as it smelled because that got me wanting to return soon for lunch time! :)

Convenient because you order at the counter and they bring your food. They open a little late for a place serving breakfast(9 a.m.) and sometimes not so friendly. Not that they are rude or anything but a friendly«how are you this morning?» would give it a more consistent feel to the comforting«homie» décor. Portions are healthy and breakfast items are usually on point. Watch out for the biscuit sometimes… it’s can be hard as a rock.

This place isn’t really anything special, but it’s not a bad place to stop if you want a quick breakfast, but don’t want fast food. You order your food at the counter and they bring your food out to you. Food was decent, and staff was friendly.

Tried this place out the other weekend. We ordered burgers(kids), salad(me and hubby). Also tried their onion rings and fries of course. Basically, we would have gotten the same stuff had we gone to Fuds, which is a favorite of our kids. According to my boys, the burgers were amazing. The salad was good too. But what I’d like to try next time is their baked potatoes… a neighboring couple was eating that and it looked amazing. We will be back.

FOOD: came out fast and it was good! Came here for breakfast. Country potatoes were my favorite! They have coffee and orange juice here too. Prices are reasonable. Food came out fast but the food wasn’t fast food cheap quality, it had a better quality than what I expected, which was good. Order at the register. They give you a standing sign that corresponds to your order with names on it instead of numbers. I think my sign said Matt haha. Then they bring the food to your table wherever you end up sitting. Staff came and took our empty plates away. Water available too. INSIDE is a country farm theme with jars on the walls and of course red tractors. It’s cute and nice inside. Booth style seating. Good for families and kids. Bathrooms are toward the front entrance down a hallway. One toilet in one room. PARKING outside parking lot shared with the entire shopping plaza so there is a lot of parking to choose from since this is a huge area. OVERALL I am a fan and would come back here for breakfast.

My wife and I ate at the RTC after watching a movie at the nearby cinema. We were visiting the area to attend a wedding and we had some time to kill before returning the car to the airport. The main reason for choosing RTC was the menu posted in the window. I had the Cobb salad and my wife had a plain hamburger. The service was quick, friendly and mistake-free. If we ever stay in Pleasanton again, I would visit the RTC.

The food is amazing don’t get me wrong. The customer service was just not so good. Our card got declined, so I ended up paying ½ cash and ½ card. The employees just made our whole time there a quite uncomfortable experience, to say the least.

Not sure why this place gets three stars. I love the Swiss & avocado sandwich. Also love the orangeade. Every person I have introduced the red tractor has loved this unique little restaurant too.

First the food was AMAZING! I would go back just because of the food. But what keeps me from giving them 5 stars was the service. There was one man working and he seemed like he could use a cup of coffee or something. He didn’t smile or really say anything. He was very lethargic. As a customer, I shouldn’t know that you hate your job. But other than him I would still go back.

If you want a burger… try Five guys! If you want a home cooked meal. This is your place. The Treated Turkey and Mash Taters with Gravy is amazing. Their breakfast is also very tasty… but the main attraction to me Its the Orangeade! I come into this place when I’m shipping with the wife. It always makes my day.

Came here last night– haven’t wanted to try it here for a long while… I don’t have a clue why. The service wasn’t friendly from the beginning… They gave us a weird look when we walked in, I actually questioned if they were about to close. But no, couple more hours… Anyways, looking over the menu… They just stare at you and impatiently wait… I finally asked what’s good and the girl tells me certain sandwiches, certain burgers and as she is talking about salads I interrupt and just decide on a burger. My boyfriend got a burger too. The fresh squeezed lemonade was not good. Sour but not in a good way not much flavor. Tasted like sour water and I am not picky. Mixed it with some Sprite to try and make is something. Fail. My daughter ended up knocking over my lemonade so that is why I gave a 2nd star, because the worker guy didn’t complain or act upset by this… He willingly cleaned it up even tho I offered and he thoroughly cleaned it up. He was nice and didn’t make us feel horrible. Our food arrived really fast… And when I tell you it was the most boring hamburger I have ever tried in my life— I’m not lying. The burger itself bland and disappointing… The sweet potato fries just Ok but way better than the burger… It all seemed like cafeteria food for old people. I told my boyfriend I thought it was a waste of calories and if we were going to get a burger should go elsewhere. He agreed. We literally left to go get food somewhere else. I think maybe I’ve done this one other time in my life. I was expecting yummy grilled sandwich or good café– diner-y type Reuben or patty melt. Maybe if they recommended their dinner of meatloaf or pot roast. But they said nothing about that… Overall, it wasn’t good. I was very disappointed and we won’t be back.

Love the Red Tractor! Generous portions of excellent, home cooked food. I’ve tried omelette’s, chicken, waffles and hamburgers. All of them are tasty so follow your gut and order with confidence because whatever you order will be phenomenal.

This place is amazing! The food is great, good portions for a good price. We tried this restaurant several times over 3 days. We tried burgers, chicken, kids meals, and their hot dogs. All of it was pretty delicious. We all managed to eat well for $ 10 or less. The atmosphere is very inviting and I love their red tractors they have for sale.

I was working an 11 hour shift at the hospital and ordered food thru EAT24– Unilocal’s food ordering app for some Red Tractor lunch. Not all restaurants on Unilocal have the EAT24 delivery app so they filter out the ones that don’t when you click«delivery.» I’ve used it several times with other restaurants. WELL I ordered a lot of food for my coworkers and I thru this app(On Unilocal) and paid and we were all waiting and spreading out our shifts for lunch to be delivered. 3 hours goes by. In between patients I call Red Tractor to let them know I ordered and paid for food 3 hours ago and it still isn’t here. The dude’s response was«Oh. Yeah. We don’t use the Unilocal delivery app. This happened to some guy too– you need to call your bank to get the money back.» NOAPOLOGY. NOAPOLOGETICTONE. Just blah! I said I know how Unilocal works and not all restaurants have this on there so your corporate ppl NEEDTOTAKETHISDOWNASAP. I WASINFURIATED. Now not only myself, but others as well had to last minute scramble for lunch at work!

The food is FANTASTIC. I am surprised to see its not 5 stars! The customer service is great, the décor is fabulous and most important, the food is DELICIOUS. I always go to this place almost every single day now, I should just work here! Recommended place to go when you are chilling with friends or family! Or just need a quick and fast lunch! I order the Turkey Burger. It’s juicy, warm and fresh. Try it if you haven’t!

it’s like eating in a farm house at a giant strip mall. Nice looking décor, staff was friendly enough, I been here a few times over the last year or so. I knew what to really expect, good old fashion American comfort foods, burgers, fries, chicken fried everything, chili dogs, potatoes everything with a side of potatoes, meatloaf with gravy, meatloaf sandwiches, meatloaf and potatoes, you get the picture. I have been here where they are super fast and super slow, so your mileage may vary on the speed of service. Prices are ok, $ 6-$ 11 for just about everything. I had the highlight of the menu in my opinion, the Chili cheese dog with fries. Came to about $ 9 and change, butter buns, grill hotdog, topped with an all meat chili, cheese and onion on top next to a side of fries. Pros: Cheap Decent food Sometimes fast service ALLDAY breakfast Cons: if you are looking for a super healthy meal… don’t. Their salad has BBQ sauce on it.

I honestly don’t know why this restaurant has so many bad reviews. Red Tractor gives such big portions of food. And they also have good customer service. If you try their burgers, you will not regret it. Why? Because it tastes very homemade(which I like). Give it another try, guys! Red tractor is amazing.

I was a sucker for Red Tractor Café, and not in the good way. Their cutesy farm charm worked its magic as we walked by, with the allure of a small town restaurant in a bustling shopping center. They were busy enough at lunchtime on a Sunday, and the menu was very tempting — along with the standard fare of burgers and sandwiches, they also features comfort food meals with two sides — for $ 10.99? And I see fried chicken on that menu? Oh yes indeed! You know and I know, it’s pretty easy to make mediocre fried chicken. Red Tractor’s promise of ‘slow food done fast’ is a pretty hefty promise, as there’s generally a reason that certain classic foods are slow — they need time to bring all those flavors to their full expression, and fried chicken is a perfect example. But I gave it a whirl with their fried chicken dinner, with mac & cheese and coleslaw as my sides — I was hoping for a truly green side option to balance out the mac, but the only veggie options were coleslaw or buttery green beans. I don’t know if I successfully chose the lesser of two evils but I can hope. Our food came out in about 10 minutes, not too shabby, and my plate sure looked nice! But looks can be deceiving. First things first, no one orders a fried chicken meal and expects to get 2 thighs and a wing, the boniest parts. The thighs at least had some juiciness(the wing was dry as hell), but overall there wasn’t much love in their flavor, with zero help from the breading — it looked good but tasted like nothing. The coleslaw was probably the best thing on the plate, but that’s not really saying much — very basic. I don’t believe for one second that mac wasn’t from a box, and then finally the included biscuit looked tempting, reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, but it had such an unpleasantly chewy dry texture, reminiscent of perhaps chewing on your favorite tennis shoe. So much meh. I was also visually underwhelmed with BF’s burger, the patty wasn’t even visible when they put it down and he had to turn his plate around the prove they didn’t forget it. After seeing the inside after a few bites, it was clearly cooked to death. His side garlic fries were tasty though, but hardly worth returning for. There’s a lot of room for improvement at the Red Tractor unfortunately — while I didn’t feel overcharged for what I received, everyone wants their money on a tasty meal to be well spent and enjoyed. Not much enjoyment was had here, so I can’t say I’ll return.

I was sadly way under-impressed when we stopped in for lunch the other day. This place was one of the many places I had on my lunch radar when I was still working in the same plaza. I like the idea of «Slow food done fast», but lets also make the food good. I ordered a cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and garlic fries on the side. My burger looked OK but was cooked to death. I’m not used to bread and butter pickles on a burger. It added a sweetness to the burger that was different but also not needed. I much prefer dill pickles, but that’s just a personal preference. The garlic fries were the best part of the dish. A moderate amount of crispy golden strings tossed in minced garlic. The garlic is prominent but does not over power and the fries were cooked very well. I was able to try some of the fried chicken meal as well. The food didn’t taste bad per se, but it didn’t taste good either. Hell, it didn’t taste like anything. The skin of the chicken looked awesome but it tasted like nothing. The biscuit was dry and though it had a hint of flavor in it, you have to chew every bite for a few minutes before actually getting it down. The coleslaw was nothing special, and the mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a box. I’m glad I was able to finally try Red Tractor Café. It’s very cute inside with all the drawings and farm like atmosphere although I did find it odd to go to the bathroom with animal noises coming through on the speakers. It’s possible I did catch them on a bad day, but as of now this place does nothing for me.

Small with super cute décor, I like! Service was quick and employees were decently friendly. Food seemed to be off it’s game. My sourdough breakfast sandwich was great but my potatoes were gross and had an especially nasty aftertaste. I felt maybe the oil they were cooked in hadn’t been changed in a while? I couldn’t eat more than four of them. My aunt said her sandwich was also very dry and fries overcooked. The booths were messy and table was wet, we ended up wiping it ourselves. Not completely terrible; will maybe try again.

Back again, gave the fried chicken a second try, wasnt dry at all. I am on a pretty restictive diet, so I really appreciated the cashier knowing the ingredients in all the food!!! Also had the warm applesauce, probably one of the best I ever had!
