Great specialty sushi roll selection! We love the BOGO half off sushi for happy hour and it is a great value. My boyfriend loves the Udon soup while I stick to sushi. The surf-n-turf is great for those newer to sushi and who aren’t thrilled with the idea of raw fish(this one features steak!). I love any of the rolls topped with the slivers of mango. Haven’t had a roll I didn’t love here yet!

This place was a good deal. Came here on a Saturday for lunch visiting my boyfriend. fast service and pleasant. I had the sushi lunch special and it was plenty of food. The the sushi was good quality. We also ordered the Thai basil chicken and the pepper steak. Both had good flavor and fresh vegetables. But the quality of the chicken and the beef were low. Both u could tell were from the fatty low grade part of the meat. So all in all I would say it’s a good place for a good deal, epically for sushi, during their lunch special. I would be willing to go back and try them again

Very good overall, kind of busy and they kept forgetting what I ordered. Clean and friendly staff.

A nice looking restaurant. Our server was a nice lady, helpful with the menu. We got a lunch special. 3 rolls for 10.75 $ and soup or salad. We both had soup which was great. The sushi wasn’t the bomb. It was honestly kinds lame. That disappointed me. No veggies in my rolls… no sauce. no décor. it looked boring and it tasted boring. We had a piece of deep fried cheesecake which was awesome. Maybe I’ll give it a chance again sometime…

I tried this place based on its location to my hotel. Service is good. It was quiet the night I stopped in. The rainbow roll was ok. Nothing special about it. I have had better and also worse. The sashimi was not that great. I am not sure becuase it was a Sunday night but it did not sit well with my stomach. I actually left a piece unfinished which is not normal for me. Overall, decent place to soothe a sushi craving.

Excellent, fresh and quick service as well. I am staying at a hotel nearby and read everyone’s reviews. Decided to try it. For being inland they have good sushi and many other entrees and appetizers.

I was in the mood for some takeout sushi and saw the amazing reviews for this spot that was not too far from my hotel. So I ordered some General Tso’s chicken and a roll for an appetizer. The first mistake was that they seemed to be running a daycare(nightcare?) in the restaurant when I got there. There were 3 or 4 small children — apparently children of the workers — with blankets, pajamas, and iPads loudly playing foreign language cartoons — laying around the first couple booths inside the door. I understand how difficult and expensive childcare can be so that was not a big deal, but I picked up my order and quickly realized that they put the hot entrée and the sushi in the same bag. This meant that the sushi roll was nice and hot by the time I rescued it — warm sushi kinda grosses me out. I am used to General Tso’s chicken that is a bready piece of chicken. It looked like they used the same chicken i traditionally see with sweet and sour chicken that did not hold the sauce properly. No vegetables were served with the entrée and the condensation meant the sauce was really watery and the breading soggy. I ended up discarding the vast majority of the dinner. Maybe eating in is better, but I won’t be giving this shot another chance.

Decent sushi lunch location. The service is efficient if not a bit curt, but during a busy lunch hour that is not exactly a bad thing. Consistently good, never an issue.

I think Ronin is really a 3.5. I work very close to it so I go pretty frequently. I usually get the same thing every time so I can’t speak for a lot of their food. I have tried their Gyoza which gets a 5 star review in my book! Gyoza is literally my favorite thing ever:) What I usually go with is their Maki Combo — 2 sushi rolls(or 3 depending on how hungry I am) and it comes with their salad. I always get the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls and they are always on point. I have never had bad sushi here. They put a little bit of crunchy breading inside the rolls which gives it some nice texture. Their salad however, is not great. Honestly I couldn’t even eat it yesterday. They put way too much dressing on it and it’s not good. When I get salads at sushi places they usually has a very strong ginger flavor and the consistency is thicker and crunchier. This tasted like warm, watery mayonnaise with a teeny tiny hint of asian flavor to it. The ambiance is very welcoming. The restaurant has a cozy feeling to it and is always very clean. I think where Ronin loses some points is with their service. Yesterday my friend and I were seated immediately, but it was probably 15 minutes before someone came to take our drink orders. The place wasn’t ridiculously busy either so I wasn’t sure what took so long. After we got our drink orders we had to wait at least another 10 – 15 minutes to order food. After we got the orders in the food came out pretty quickly. However, most of the time the food takes a really long time as well. I went there a few months ago around 1:30 to try and avoid the lunch rush. The servers had their children at the restaurant and had them sitting at the table next to us eating lunch. I love kids and family owned/operated places. I wouldn’t have had an issue with this at all except for the fact that it took us 1.5 hours to order, get food and we never got our drinks refilled. The funny thing is our server was sitting with his kids and the other server I am assuming was his wife and they never looked over to see if we needed anything. We were literally sharing the long booth against the wall with them. We finally asked them for our checks and felt awkward interrupting them. I haven’t had that happen again since that that time. So it may not happen often. I still plan on eating here pretty frequently mostly due to it’s location. However, I don’t think I would make a special trip out here if I wasn’t already in Dublin.

We had a very enjoyable meal. The pictures will serve as words as we all know a picture is worth a thousand words! I must say the veggies were very fresh! We are definitely going back. The meal came out quickly and accurately. We had chicken dishes and a salmon avocado roll. Delish

I had lunch with a friend at Ronin Sushi and it was a fabulous experience! We walked just before 1 pm and were seated on the patio. The patio is a great spot but make sure you get a table with an umbrella because sometimes the sun can be too much. We received our drinks immediately and ordered. Our food was out and on the table in less than 10 minutes. We ordered entrees and then 2 rolls of sushi to split. I ordered the Sesame Chicken and it was delicious! The broccoli was very fresh. The sushi was ok but I honestly only had 2 pieces since I was very full from my meal. If you haven’t tried this place, check it out. If nothing else, for the service and patio.

Decent lunch prices and food. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as Ohio sushi goes. Ours came fast in the lunch rush. The wait staff, though is super grumpy. Service was rough and in a cramped space, I’ll only be back when the sushi craving is extremely strong. I would recommend the shrimp tempura roll and the sweet and sour chicken.

This place is great! There is a very nice lunch menu with lots of choices and items to choose from. I have been here several times for lunch and always receive good service and great food. I got the Sriracha chicken last time and it was fantastic! This time I tried the mango chicken and it was delicious. Next time I go I would like to try some of the sushi.

Ronin, Why?! I took some co-workers here for lunch, because I remember this place having really excellent sushi, and even better lunch pricing. The experience was just really embarrassing and made me regret coming here. Service here anymore is horrendous. Most of the servers don’t keep their ‘cool’ during a busy situation and the past few times I’ve literally had my plate slammed right in front of me. The service issue today was that the servers were AWOL. We sat nearly 15 minutes before having our order taken. As a restaurant in Dublin, this place should know better, and know that time is valuable to a lot of their patrons, as many of us are on lunch and can’t spend hours of time waiting in a restaurant. We eventually had to stand up and flag down a waitresses, as well as stand up and get drink refills. I couldn’t write home about the sushi, either. The rolls were smaller than usual, and plating was unimpressive. In fact, my plate had some mystery eel sauce just smeared and dotted across it. It wasn’t artistic representation. It was called they probably messed up by adding sauce, or plating the wrong sushi, then tried to cover it up. Terrible. Any real Chef would be ashamed. Some of the co-workers ordered off the Chinese menu and their plates looked really unappetizing. The sauce they used was thick, slimey and clearly loaded with MSG. The chicken was laughable giblets. I hate to say it, but I may not be back. I’m tried of putting myself through the rude and aggressive service and now, the food isn’t that good? No, thanks!

Dined here today(10÷22÷14) for lunch with some of my coworkers. I had the three roll combo, which for $ 10.50 is not a bad deal. The rolls themselves weren’t bad. I had the tuna avocado roll, the spicy tuna roll, and california roll. The wasabi was too old though and a tad bit stale. Most of its kick was gone due to prolonged exposure to air. The service was pretty atrocious however. It took them 10 minutes to get my drink order, and another 15 minutes to actually bring out my drink. Yes, I spent 25 minutes of my 60 minute lunch break waiting for a glass of diet coke. Aside from the sushi here, their menu consists of such traditional Japanese staples such as chicken lo mein, thai panang curry, and general tso’s chicken… wait what? Yeah, this place is more of a pan-Asian fusion and not at all Japanese. Which is pretty confusing given their clearly Japanese restaurant name. One of my coworkers got their chicken lo mein, and the volume of food was also underwhelming for what it cost. Who knows, maybe their panang curry and general tso’s are amazing. But since this restaurant is named Ronin Sushi and not Thai Paradise or Happy Wok, I’m judging them on their sushi and service. 2 stars.

We were in the area to make a return at Best Buy, and I was ecstatic to see that Ronin was so close. I had bookmarked it a long time ago and was looking forward to coming. We had been running around all evening and hadn’t had a chance to eat until close to 8:00, so we were more than ready for some delicious sushi! We walked in and were seated at a table in the back. There were two other groups eating; a table of 4 friends and a guy eating by himself. We peruse the menu and think that the maki combos might be the best options. There is something on the menu that says«sushi bar entrée,» or something of the sort. I know I’ve been to places before where, to order certain items, you need to be sitting at the sushi bar(which is weird). I asked whether we could order those items regardless of sitting in the dining room. It was SUPERAWKWARD. The one girl couldn’t understand what I was asking and kept saying, «yes, entrée.» The other lady was just confused. Eventually, they laugh and say, «yes, you can order anything on the menu except lunch specials» and I felt dumb for asking. I feel like it was a valid question! Anyway, once THAT was done, we were brought out miso soup and edamame. The edamame was delicious! I loved it, and I wasn’t expecting it, which made it even more great. I was not a fan of the miso soup. It wasn’t the salty, delicious miso taste I was used to. It was borderline bland, in fact. I even added soy sauce to it(which I’m sure is some sort of huge faux pas) in an effort to make it a little saltier, and it didn’t do much to help. When our sushi came out, it looked fairly good. My boyfriend got maki combo A, which was a few spicy varieties. I got the maki combo C, which was a California roll, a tuna roll, and an Alaska roll. Unfortunately, that’s about where it ended for me. The California roll was unusual; I’m used to kani, cucumber, and avocado. This roll was some type of crab salad(it was white with tinges of pink) with avocado. It smelled and tasted fishy, which is not what I’m used to with a California roll. My boyfriend and I both agreed that it was our least favorite. I don’t know how to describe the Alaskan roll except to say that it tasted… stale? Not good. The tuna roll was my favorite, though it was still just passable. My boyfriend ate his, though I didn’t really like them either. They all looked exactly the same — kind of orangey? And we weren’t told which was which, not that it mattered, because they all tasted exactly the same. I also didn’t think they were spicy. The food wasn’t good, and the service was spotty too. In addition to language barrier problems(which I’m usually very understanding of, but one of our waitresses really didn’t know what we were saying which made ordering hard) the one waitress must have just started learning because she made things a little weird. She’d slowly approach our table, linger for a few seconds, and walk away without saying anything to us. The prices were pretty reasonable(our meal was about $ 30) and the rolls themselves were a good size, but it’s hard to like that when we didn’t love what we were eating. I don’t know, this was such a miss for me. I was really looking forward to finding another great sushi place in the area, and this wasn’t it. Hopefully we can find another soon!

4.5 stars. This was a random visit as we were looking for a light, quick lunch. I was able to sample many of the maki rolls and I was quite impressed. The spicy scallop roll was amazing. Very fresh and the perfect amount of spice. I also tried the futo maki which was really unique with egg, crab and a couple pickled veggies. It was surprisingly good. The rice typically makes or breaks a maki roll for me and the rice was top notch. Also the price is phenomenal for the quality — such good value. Even though I took it to-go while I was waiting I took a look around and it was a cool little place. Nicely decorated yet still felt casual. I would like to try some of their sashimi and more complex rolls next time. But this visit really impressed me.

This is a cute little sushi joint across the street from the Tuttle Mall. It’s clean, beautifully decorated and fairly priced for sushi. Each meal comes with complimentary Edamame, which is a favorite of mine and was. We had the Miso, which was just Miso…(I’ve never been a huge fan, it all tastes like salty water to me.) We had the wonton soup which was delicious, with cute little bite sized wontons. And for our entrée we ordered the sushi dinner for two,(the boat) which was 18(I think?) pieces of Nigiri and two Sushi Rolls. It also came with a cool little seaweed salad in a martini glass. It was decent… it was most definitely fresh, but not super flavorful. The smoked salmon was however, very delicious! The wait staff was pleasant, although a little pushy or rushing. We had to tell our waitress 4 or 5 times that we needed a «few more minutes» only to have her return 30 seconds later. I would not drive up from Grove City to go here specifically, but we are in this area a lot and would definitely return again.

Ronin has some great and not so great things. We have been here a few times and are confused. The atmosphere is nice. It’s clean and everyone that works there is extremely nice and helpful. They have outdoor seating too which is cool. They also have a free edamame app which is awesome. The first time we visited we got a few hand rolls. Wow! I loved them. They tasted so fresh. It was probably the best spicy tuna hand roll I’ve ever had. The next time we got a few noodle entrees and a spicy tuna roll. I was so disappointed. The spicy tuna was warm and the crispy flakes tasted off. The noodle entrees were oily, artificial, and bland tasting. Either way, I do plan on visiting again. I will be ordering sushi only though. I think they can easily improve of the non sushi entrees.

I wanted some place to get some Pad Thai that wasn’t quite as expensive as P.F. Changs and a co-worker told me about this place. We arrived to a really beautiful, albeit slightly small, asian restaurant and were immediately seated. I noticed they have a really nice patio outside with tables and chairs with umbrellas. We were seated inside however. I ordered the lunch version of the Pad Thai combo with Beef, Chicken and Shrimp. I was then asked… something. wasn’t sure what because the lady had a really thick accent but eventually my co-worker and I figured out she was asking if I wanted a salad or soup. I chose the hot and sour soup. I also ordered a spicy salmon roll. The hot and sour soup came out shortly thereafter and it was fantastic. It was the best hot and sour soup I’ve had in a long time, only one place that I can think of in Virginia has better hot and sour soup. I would have liked a bit more sour and it would have been the best ever. It was FILLED with tons of mushrooms and other«stuff» that they put into hot and sour soup. The spicy salmon sushi was next and it was really good, although not very spicy. The sushi itself was presented very neatly and wrapped tightly and had a lot of filling in there. Like I said, I could have used just a bit more spice but the wasabi took care of that for me. And lastly my entrée, the lunch pad thai combo, arrived and it was awesome presentation(see picture). The portion size was just perfect and everything was excellent. The noodles were cooked perfectly and it had plenty of meat in it. Some of the meat was slightly fatty but not terrible, just be aware. Also, I would have liked a bit more shrimp(I got 2) but for the price it was a good value I think. My friend got the Ronin Delight(see picture) and he really liked his as well. All in all I had an excellent, huge meal and the bill only came to $ 13(without tip) so you can’t beat that. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and the restaurant is really super neat and super clean. This place is a winner and my co-worker buddy and I will definitely be back here many times in the future I think.
