Rusty Bucket Corner Tavern

Overall this was a bland and not a very unique experience, the service was lacking in professionalism and the food was just like any other chain, with no variation and and the same OLD flavor. I recommend you eat out next door at the authentic Mediterranean mom and pop shop.

Rusty Bucket’s food is decent; though they hvn’t changed their menu in years. What floors me though is their drink prices. A pint (16 oz.) IPA is $ 7. That’s $ 7 for a 16 oz. draft. It seems to me, and I frequent the Bucket enough to be qualified to say so, that for the last 2 years or so they (a Cameron Mitchell owned chain) have been inching up these beverage prices; maybe $.50 cents every 6 mos. So now they’re at $ 7 for a pint of White Raja. Unbelievable. I boycotted Liberty Tavern a couple yrs ago when they started charging similar crazy-​arsh prices for a brew pour. On principle, me thinks I’m gonna start doing the same w/​RB. Which is a real shame, b/​c otherwise it’s a great friendly neighborly local joint. But I know I can find good to great draft pints for a reasonable charge elsewhere… say Mellow Mushroom, Pint House, Dublin Village Tavern, Fadu, just about anywhere (except J. Alexanders which charged me $ 8-​smthg a year or so ago for a Stella Artois pint. $ 8!). Sorry RB, sometimes enough is enough. $ 7. For a pint. That’s just crazy.

Visited with a group of people during lunchtime and it was very crowded. Had chicken pesto-​food was decent. Service was pretty standard. I would say this is more of a sports bar restaurant for casual gatherings.

This is a great place to grab a few drinks. The bar staff always are really cool. The food is good. When’s it’s warm out the open the garage door style windows. This makes for a nice place to unwind.

Fav hang out. Great drink selection, food is fantastic and if there are issues the Management always makes it right. It is a Dublin hang out that is family friendly. Friday night special is one of the best martinis going.

Love this place, and I come here often with my family and friends because of the menu options. The food is always good and fresh. They are known for their fish and chips. Years ago they use to serve their chips as stake fries and now they are normal ones.
Their Ruben is truly amazing as well-​they offer a traditional one or with sliced turkey option. We have tried so many options off their menu and have never been disappointed. They have a daily special as well that is specific to that day and is not offered off the traditional menu.
We ordered the friend pickles tonight. However, I am from the south and traditionally they are chips, not spears. So fair warning– if you are ordering these. They do use the same batter the fish is dipped in.
The kids menu has a wide variety of choices with healthy side options. The salads are fresh, not a bag mix, and full of veggies and different types as well.
The only down fall of this location is either hit or miss with servers and managers.

Pretty decent local bar and restaurant for Dublin restaurants.
The beer and cocktail selection is pretty good. The spinach con queso, the wings, nachos and their fried pickles are pretty good appetizers. Their buffalo chicken sandwich is pretty good as well. Their hamburgers have been a bit of a disappointment. Also for a bar + restaurant they stop serving food relatively early on weekends (by 11P), so not suitable for a late night outing.
The servers are always polite and friendly. Unilocal really needs to add a .5 star in between as its probably closer to a 3.5 than a 3 star.

Stopped here for an early dinner. Waited up front for 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated I waited 15 minutes or more without any service. A party next to me were served and they had come in after me.
Got up and left and won’t be back.

The she crab soup and the lobster bisque are major recommendations for Rivage. The fresh oysters are exceptional. We love the beet salad.

Strip mall suburban dining epitomized. Who came up with this Ireland look in the middle of Ohio vibe?
Good food, bad times. Order a salad with your entrée and they are delivered to your table at the exact same time. Tackle your server when you see him or her to get service. My wedge salad was excellent as was the baloney sandwich. Kids meals were very good Mac n cheese and a pizza. Significant other’s chix sandwich was edible and average. Good beer taps. Overwhelmed staff with insufficient training is the issue here which, of course, is management’s fault. Still waiting on my check…

Very poor customer service. Walked in and were totally ignored by 2 girls at the host stand. No greeting, no friendly welcome, no eye contact or smile. Just simply ignored while they finished their conversation. We walked out. Foreshadowing of what the rest of the service would be like. After reading some of these other reviews, I would say I am correct!

Food is good, service is terrible. Watched as the wait staff messed around in the back – seemed like they were doing a lot of standing, talking, and laughing among themselves (staff seems to be made up of lazy people). My husband has worked in food service, and I’m sure you can always find something to do, even if you have no tables. If not, stay out of sight of customers. Our server wasn’t a complete dolt, but he wasn’t very friendly. Our food wasn’t all served at the same time (and I don’t mean just a one minute wait – it was a few minutes before some of the meals came out). The turkey club is delicious, but I’d rather eat someplace where I’m wanted and the servers are more attentive.

This was my first visit to the Rusty Bucket. My boyfriend has been here, but at a different location. We ordered pot stickers as an appetizer, they were pretty good. For dinner we shared a fish and chips dinner. It was pretty standard fare, greasy, fried fish and fries. Nothing really outstanding with this being your typical sports bar type place. The food is just what you’d expect.

I have been to the Rusty Bucket else where in Ohio, however, my girlfriend had never been so we decided to stop for dinner. We were hungry, but not starving, so we decided to share an appetizer and dinner entrée. We had the pot stickers for starters and they were pretty good. We shared the fish and chips for dinner and it was your standard fried food, nothing outstanding.
The Rusty Bucket is your typical sports bar-​type place and just what you would expect at that type of restaurant/​bar.

Really, really like this location. The service was exceptional and our server was so very friendly. The space itself had a great pub vibe with plenty of big screens. We just had apps… my husband the Double Quesadilla and I had the Gyoza. Yummy! My Gyoza has the right amount of heat and was perfectly prepared. Will order it again. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. The menu looks wonderful, need to come back and try more. With prices this good, the wonderful selection of beers, and a terrific ambience, I think we’ve found our neighborhood go-​to pub!

Rusty Bucket is a chain that has a few locations the area. This particular one, I like the layout of it. Plenty of TV’s, and a lot of seating. The food has been pretty good when I have been– Fish and Chips was tasty, but a tad greasy. I did like the fries. The chili cheese dog platter was filling and good, but the service has been pretty average. It can be on the loud side since there are a lot of families/​kids when I have been.
Its tucked in by the Giant Eagle– If you can handle average service/​good food, this is your spot.

I’m a fan of the rusty bucket chain but this location has the worst service. More like lack of service. I keep going back because of the conveience of it being close to home but after going in earlier today for lunch I won’t be returning. It was around 3pm so it was not busy at all. No one greeted us at the door so we sat ourselves at a table in the bar area, a server took the drink order then never returned to the table. After waiting 20 minutes we walked out.
I am patient but due to the fact that it was a very slow time of the day there is no reason to sit and wait that long for someone to take an order. Especially when half the wait staff was sitting at the bar chatting, snapping each other with towels and goofing around. Unprofessional!

This place is just as good, if not better, than the Westerville Rusty Bucket. In fact I think I like this place a little better as the layout is much more spreadout, however the patio at the Westerville location is probably better than this one. I typically get the Tuna wrap which is one of the healthiest things, but more importantly, one of the tastiest things one can get. I swap out fries for their fresh spinach, which is to DIE FOR if you are a spinach fan… The service here is fast and friendly and I was able to get in for lunch and back to work all within about 45 – 50 minutes (I’m about 2 miles away) so it’s a great place to get a quick lunch and not have to worry about getting back to work on time.
Definitely a great place to eat, also I must say I love the dark interior, if only all bars looked like this I’d be in heaven.

Had a casual Monday night dinner here tonight! It was more busy then I expected for a Monday.
We both had beer which was good. I had the blackened salmon salad which was tasty! My boyfriend had the buffalo chicken sandwich which he loves. We also got the sticky bun bread pudding which was so warm gooey and yummy!
Good place, we will be back!
