Every time we are passing through Dubuque, we swing by Magoo’s for lunch or dinner. They have fresh ingredients and what I’d say is the perfect cheese blend on their pizzas. But the crust is my favorite part — it’s so thin and crispy, yet it’s still chewy like great pizza crust should be.

Excellent pizza and salads. Ate there for lunch. Service was super fast and friendly. Thin crust pizza and salads made to order. We did take out but atmosphere was pleasant to stay in too.

At first I was unsure on if I would like this place, but I love it! I am not a big pizza fan because of all the grease, but I love how fresh and non-greasy this pizza is! I love how you can add or substitute toppings for no extra cost. I do wish they had to go cups for drinks! Also their salads are huge! Worth the 8 bucks all around!

Really good pizza but the prices are why I’m giving 3 stars. At $ 8 a pizza(personal size) that’s a bit steep. The pizza’s definitely wouldn’t feed 2 unless you are really small eaters. Also they charge $.50 for take-out which doesn’t really make sense. $.50 for a cardboard box? Also don’t have to-go cups for fountain soda which actually bothered me a lot. I like being able to take a refill with me or get a fountain soda to-go. All that being said, the pizza is great. Thin-crust and stone-oven baked right on site. They also let you customize your pizza with any ingredients you want. Wish they had regular sausage(only spicy sausage and ground beef). Will go back but only for special treats due to the prices.

Great new pizza place! They serve personal flat bread pizzas and salad and try to source everything locally. Had a great light lunch! I recommend the Margarita pizza. We’ll definitely be back.

So many choices of toppings. All fresh and you can make your pizza any way you want. You don’t pay per topping so load it up with all your favorites. $ 8 each pizza or $ 8.50 for a salad. Extra thin crust so you don’t go away feeling stuffed and bloated. I will definitely be returning to this family owned business. Pepsi products for sodas. A micro brewery is coming soon. They also have bottled beer and wine by the glass choices. To go orders are $.50 more. Wood stone oven that cooks pizza 3 – 5 min at a minimum of 650 degrees. Decorated as a 50’s diner. This place could easily be a franchise but at the moment, is a family owned place.

I finally was able to make it here for the first time after hearing raving reviews. I loved the concept and chose to build my own pizza. The ingredients were fresh with a good variety. The salad was filling and the pizza came out very fast. I think the dressing may have been homemade. It was delicious and I loved the crust. Good selection of beer and wines. I thought the price was very reasonable. Though I would rather pay a bit more and get a large pizza to share. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way is immediately after ordering the one woman chased me down to tell me I needed to sit at a table for two. I was planning on it anyways… but the place was not busy at the time and was not busy when I left to have to make this request of customers. The food is prepared fast and people are able to dine in and leave quickly that seating should not be a concern. I will definitely be back!

Was excited about trying out this new business. I was given great reviews by friends. Called ahead to place a 10+ item order but was told they do not accept phone orders. Hmmm. You are located near hospitals, schools, universities and families and you expect the customer(during a weekday lunch or any other time sensitive situation) to order and wait while food is being prepared. This is not a great business plan if you are going to specialize in pizza and take out orders. You are missing out on a market. I suggest that maybe this is something you take into consideration.

Pizza is great. Have been there several times and enjoyed the experience, but recently felt very unwelcome by owner(s) when we brought three well behaved children along. Did not feel like a very«family-friendly» environment.

5 pizzas. All great including one with a gluten free crust. Even my 13 yr old who doesn’t like pizza loved this place. This will be a regular stop.

Great new location close to the University of Dubuque. The easiest way to describe this place is by comparing it to a subway, but with pizza. Each pizza can feed one-two people(they are personal pizzas) The ingredients(of which there are many) are all fresh and delicious. The pizza s are oven-baked right in front of you. They also have a good selection of wine and beer. Another great addition to the fast-casual dining scene.

Nice place and people. They give opportunity to watch your pizza being created. I thought they were skimpy on ingredients. I like to have the ingredients extend closer than 2 inches from the edge. We bought two: Chicken Alfredo and the Greek(w/beef added). They were tasty and the Greek had more on it. The C. A. had some slices that had very little on it, whatsoever. That said, the ingredients were real fresh and tasty. The crust was pretty good. We do like thin crust. I might try the«gluten free», but I don’t think you should have to pay $ 2.00 more. «Gluten free» is popular but paying that dissuaded me. I’m not sensitive to it, anyway. I had a glass of wine while waiting and it was way overpriced. Minimum fee per glass was $ 7.50(reds, I didn’t look at whites). I didn’t price out the beer but looked like they have some nice ones to try. I will go back and try some other options for take out. The wine is much cheaper elsewhere.

Perfect sized pizza for 2(or 1). Delicious and the owners are so nice! I highly recommend it. FYI there is parking in the back of the building.
