Target Stores

I’m from Chicago and we were at Galena for a weekend but our car starting acting a little funny so we had to bring it to the dealership and we went to Target while the car was being worked on. Everyone in this Target was so friendly, absolutely everyone said hello and asked if we needed assistance. Now this is what I love when I go into a store :)

This Target is conveniently located near our hotel, so it is one of the places we visit when we run out of something or just need to grab something and don’t feel like going elsewhere.
We have never had problems at this store, nor have we witnessed problems here. It is a clean store and organized like most Targets. which makes it easy to find stuff.
The check out has always had enough personnel so we have never had to wait too long to get through the lines.
I would give this a higher rating, but my girlfriend went in there to find something. She asked one of the associates if they had this item and they told her they didn’t. I went in that same evening with her and found the item within moments of looking for it. Based on that, I would say the associates might need to be a little more familiar with their areas.

We had the chance to visit this Target while staying at a nearby hotel. I like that Targets are pretty consistent wherever you go. Very convenient to pick up gift wrapping, grooming items, snacks and other misc items that do not pack well. I also found it interesting that you can get some form of
fireworks here.

I would like to preface this review with the fact that I am a huge Target fan. In fact, I used to work at Target. That being said, if I could give this store 0 stars I would.
#1 They never have anything in stock. I visited this store 3 times in one week (following the delivery schedule that the employee told me) and they never got the shower curtain I wanted back in stock. I finally asked another employee and she said «I don’t know when we’ll get it. There’s no way to know. Sorry». It’s a shower curtain. LOOK IT UP. Or order one…
#2 The employees are unhelpful bordering on rude. From the un-​helpful shower curtain girl to the bitchy manager they are all awful. They don’t care if you get what you came to buy. They don’t care if you come back. The customer service is complete crap. I’ve received much better customer service at the nearby walmart, and that is sad. At least that shower curtain girl helped me look.
#3 I will order from Target online, wait for my stuff, and pay shipping before I go back to this Target and support their business. I hope that manager gets a tickling cough that lasts for years. The motto is supposed to be «Expect more, pay less” — needless to say, this Target pretty much has it backwards. Oh well, I doubt they care.
