I usually don’t rate airport restaurants, but this place was such a pleasant surprise that I felt compelled to comment on it. It was a midday flight to Shanghai, and without knowing what was on the flight for dinner or breakfast for that matter, I decided to fill up on my last bit of American fare for three weeks. I started off with the buffalo wing appetizer which was fantastic. That was washed down with the Vienna Lager that was so incredible, I ordered 3. My entrée was a regular cheeseburger but it was exceptional for what it was and for dessert I wrapped up my meal with a chocolate cookie which was locally made so I decided to grab three more and take it on the flight with me. As great as that meal was, the service was what actually blew me away. My servers name was José, and not only was he attentive, but very warming and welcoming. He made sure everything was in order and that my experience was top draw. I would expect this level of service at a fancy five-star reservation first type of restaurant let alone an airport restaurant. I would come back strictly just for the service and if you’re lucky enough to run into this young gentleman, do yourself a favor and engage yourself. You’ll be thankful you did. Overall, good restaurant, even better service.

Listen… I have low expectations from an airport bar with plastic silverware, HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the black bean veggie burger with sweet potato fries legitimately delicious with fresh guac, chipotle aioli, and fried jalapeños, our service was above and beyond. As someone who’s family has owned restaurants, and who used to wait tables, I really really appreciate a good server(hard to find), especially at an airport. Warren was polite, warm, and fastidious. He offered a local beer, made sure we knew our order was vegetarian, checked on us discreetly several times, and was quick with processing our bill when we asked. Good for a quick bite, a full bar, and randomly, really really good music(soul and classic r&b).

I stopped in before a flight to grab some lunch and was pleasantly surprised. To be honest, I don’t expect much from most airport restaurants as we are a captive audience with few choices. I was alone so I grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender working the Tuesday lunch shift was extremely friendly and made sure I was taken care of. I was offered a drink and the menu right away. The menu offered a nice variety of choices and I decided on a BLT on wheat toast with avocado and mixed greens rather than fries. The sandwich and salad were fresh and quite tasty. The sandwich was so thick I was wondering how I was going to take a bite — lots of bacon! I liked how the chipotle mayo was served on the side so you could decide how much or how little to use. The dressing on the salad was really refreshing — a nice vinaigrette without being too sour. Prices were higher, but that is expected in an airport restaurant. I am glad to see some more choices coming to Terminal C and Chef Geoff’s is one I would visit again.

Beer batter fish, try burned batter fish, and the guy behind the bar even commented in it and just walked away. Drink here if you drink, but don’t eat. YUCK!

Food was bad. Disappointing for a ‘Chef Geoff’ so-called restaurant. I was here for breakfast and ordered the Baja Burrito without the black beans and it was was either overcooked or previously frozen. Also the burrito was very bland and unseasoned. I questioned whether the chorizo sausage was really chorizo — sure didn’t taste like it. They assured me it was chorizo but I’ve never had dry and dark brown chorizo like that before — tasted like regular ground sausage. The Yukon potatoes and avocado that came with the burrito were good.

Excellent service, upscale breakfast, and great ddrink selection. I ordered the hangover burger. Although it was slippery to eat b/c of the lettuce, the taste was amazing. Burger was juicy and flavorful.

Not bad for airport food. I had dinner here last Friday before boarding my flight and ordered a Buffalo Chicken wrap with fries as well as a glass of their Starr IPA. The food was a generous portion and came with a garlicky dip that went well with the buffalo chicken. Quite tasty. The beer was not really my thing as it did not seem to have any character, but that it is really not the restaurant’s fault so this won’t affect my rating. This does not apply to the service though. The waitresses seemed unmotivated and uninterested. I had to ask for my cheque twice(although it was not that busy) before I was able to pay. So service could definitely be improved.

Friendly, but very slow. More expensive than similar places to eat at Dulles. They stop taking breakfast orders at 10:30am sharp! Who wants to eat lunch at 10:33?

Food was decent. I stopped here in a bit of a rush heading to board our flight to Europe. It was the closest most decent looking option in route to our terminal. I ordered my food to go in the«To Go» section. They seemed to have a decently appealing menu with a fair amount of tasteful sounding options. They were out of the Tortilla Soup they had listed, so I just went with a bacon burger. I got it with no buns, and the condiments on the side. The service was horrible from the guy working the register. I asked how long it would be to get it, and he said a half an hour. This worried me because are plane was boarding in 20 min and I did not think it would had taken that long. I mentioned something to him, and another really nice guy working there overheard, and said he would do what he could to make sure they get it out soon. Needless, it was done within 10 min. Burger patty was generous in portion, and actually tasted quite good. Definitely can’t say I would be greatly eager to go back though considering all the other options within the airport just a little further down.

I will start off by saying one star is more than this place deserves! As you’re walking by, the restaurant looks like a good option and a nice new addition to the horribly outdated section C. I sat down and ordered the wrap which was brought out a mere minute after I placed my order. No service is that good(IMO) so I knew as soon as the food was brought out it was a bad sign. For starters I had to ask for silverware and the waitress looked at me as if I committed a sin. The wrap came with fries and I’m pretty certain they were from the week prior. The chicken in the wrap was ice cold and it was a hot wrap or was supposed to be at least… I told the waitress I didn’t want the meal, but kindly asked her to please bring the check anyways for which she never did. She literally took the food away and never came back. That’s when I decided I guess she didn’t need a tip after piss-poor customer service. Chef Geoff, I hope you read this because your staff here needs a serious education in cooking and customer service 101!

Chef Geoff’s was a great surprise. Great service from Addi, really clean, modern ambiance, really good hamburger and fries and decent music. My husband got a roasted turkey sandwich with 2 inches of meat — yum! What a way to end our week!

Just OK. Grabbing some lunch after flying in from Heathrow and connecting to Denver. Went for the fish tacos. They came very quickly despite the place being pretty busy. They were tasty enough but nothing special. The fish was a little bit undercooked and they came so quickly that I’m pretty sure they were just heated up in the microwave. That’s OK, but they were extremely expensive at $ 18. I would expect to pay no more than $ 5 for tacos of this size so all in all a bit of a fail. Understood this is an airport location but this is just pure price gouging.

At gate C12 departures in IAD. 4 sports tvs at bar, dining area. Did not sample food, but posted menu. Drank a DC Brau Public Pale Ale for$ 9.01 with tax. I squeezed the glass to get the last drop.

Decent restaurant in C Concourse in Dulles Airport. Definitely on the more upscale side, with lots of options to choose from. There’s also a full bar with an extensive selection of wines, if you are so inclined. Just be aware that at this place, it can take upwards of 20 minutes to be served, so don’t eat here if you’re catching a flight that leaves not too long after you get into the concourse. Prices are typical airport fodder. Not the greatest food in the world, but not horrible either.

This place gets a 3 star from me because of the restaurant setting and the ability to sit down and enjoy a beer at the airport. It’s a restaurant in an airport, we know that the food is not going to be good but one like to hope that since it’s Chef Geoff it will be at least decent. Nope. The burger was very bland and there was zero taste for the patty. The bun that the burger was served taste like a cheap burger bun that you pay $ 1 for 10 at Safeway. The only thing that this place would be great is the full bar and the ample electric outlets that are located around the bar. There’s places that you can sit and charge your toys and work for a bit while waiting for your flight. Wait service is poor. Wait staff tends to be very chatty with each other without caring if their conversation is overheard by customers.

If you’re in C concourse this place isn’t the worst choice you could go to if you’re looking for a more sit-down, slightly upscale restaurant. You can be seated at either a table or by the bar where you can plug in your chargers. If you’re traveling solo I would recommend this option. They offer appetizers, salads that can be side salads at 9.50 or entrée sized with grilled chicken or buffalo fried tenders for $ 17.50, burgers, sandwhiches, wraps and even fish tacos. I ordered the spinach salad which was surprisingly tasty and was a decent sized portion so you can definitely get filled up with an entrée salad. This salad offered a delightful sweetness and tanginess from the cranberries and goat cheese, and the onions were tender and sweet. The walnuts added a nice crunch to each bite and the vinaigrette didn’t overpower the salad. The service was polite but I saw towards the end that most of them were just kind of standing around the bar talking with each other. The only thing I really didn’t like about the place was the fact that instead of offering real silverware, they had plastic utensils which I thought was completely misaligned with the type of restaurant it is as well as the price tag it comes with. All in all a nice sit down restaurant to eat if you don’t want to scrounge a place to eat in the airline lobby.

We had lunch in here prior to boarding our flight to SFO. Ordered a burger with cheddar, bacon, and guacamole, plus a side of sweet potato fries — no bun. The burger itself was tasty and hit the spot, served with a slice of romaine lettuce, tomato, and raw onion. But the sweet potato fries, while tasty, were to dark. I suspect the fry oil needed to be changed. Service was decent — they did a good job considering how mobbed the restaurant was.

20 minute ticket time at the airport? Skipping this next time. I wanted to order breakfast right off the menu. Shouldn’t be as time consuming and difficult as service made it. I enjoy Chef Geoffs. But airport annex is a bad idea.

Decent brew and grub(black bean burger), but useless, slow, forgetful service. Especially surprising considering were in an airport and speed is generally important for fliers.

I can’t tell you How impressed I was with this location. Better service than 13th Street or Lia’s and the food was delicious and consistent. Whenever I am flying out of Dulles this is where you will find me.
